Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

I have been bouncing this one and the Apollo around as fun purchases with a fun review afterwards but money is a little tighter then usual at the moment. Considering i already have a Daisy, this is more a want then a need but... Oh so tempted.

Or i could wait for the next offering by this compay which may be a bit more diffrent. The water specific 18mm option is uber intriguing just not sure how far down the road it is..... Oh VAS.

I'm waiting for an all sticky designed vaporizer. I realize I'll be waiting a bit while they fill the Daisy void but I still can't wait to see what his first design will be.
Seems the older I get the more I'm moving to all natural materials. I'm sure a log is in the future for me at some point. Far future but future non the less. Sorry about getting side tracked.

When will this vape be in stock on their website? I really dont want to wait anymore my vas is really getting the best of me
This makes me almost want to sell my Daisy since I know I have the patience to wait for The Brick and as @IAmKrazy2 mentioned it seems more like a want than a need, however if I sell my Daisy then I would create a NEED!

Don't everyone start sending me offers all at once now...I said almost!

I agree about the water specific version. Since I have to use a torch discreet is not an option. In that case I might as well be using water anyway. I only skip water out and about really. Definitely looking forward to a compact 18mm water version of this vape.

A compact version with a contained lighter like the Hammer has would also be great for out and abouts! Not sure why as I know your post was about the WPA version but it made me think of a HammerBrick when I first read it.

Agreed. But one thing i love about Daisy (and hopefully will run true with Sticky B too) is that it isn't harsh without water. Something about the design, maybe the wide open air path, but you get monster hits with the Daisy that IMO are plenty cool without water. For the size, maybe the smoothest in my lineup.

So as badly as i want a 18mm water option, the design of this one should allow for huge hits without needing water cooling IMO.

The brick is quite the utility vape...

Hope this helps with the torch debate...

Haha. I like when you blow a nassive cloud then show the still green bowl. I do that all the time with the Daisy and Zion. Sometimes i surprise myself.

Edit. I like to stir my Daisy every hit or two so our technique does differ but i didn't watch the video all the way through to be honest.

You know what type of policy honesty is...

I do stir though, Hotspot vapes require it.

And everything in my favorite bracket (except the mighty) requires a little stir of love to keep the bowl tasty and seasoned.

So the bottom of the bowl is wood? I'm really interested, but i tend to be a bit clumsy and combust skill vapes somtimes. If you combust with this vape how do you clean it? Wont the smoke be forever in the unit and or reclaim dose it get clogged? How do you clean the wood?

I'm actually curious how other people answer that.

I would say I more char part of it than combust it, not sure if that's really different though. Usually just the a spot or the top part is black and I'll get some of the taste of that. Depending on the bowl I might just scoop that out of the bowl and still hit it without much of a bad taste. I haven't had it affect the taste in bowls afterwards, but that's just me.

I also don't have any scorching on the bottom of the wood bowl, there's maybe half an inch between the screen and the bottom. Plus resin/honey collects down there which would protect it a little. When I'm using it I never get the feeling I could scorch the inside of the vape, just it's precious cargo.

@StickyBricks and @StormyPinkness were right...

To add when and if you do combust the feeling and taste of thick smoke will immediately alert you...:puke:

I am guilty of combustion in it...and it's so unnatural...I dump it out so fast the bottom of the load is still green....

True story.

Can confirm what @WakeAndVape and @StormyPinkness said. i had a torch sputter then kick out a high flame and it ignited quickly. But just as fast, the bowl was dumped, and while cooked and charred on the top, it was still green on the bottom. Quick clean of the bowl area did the trick and right back on it. I have to add I now have TAS... Torch acquisition syndrome. Can't have too many torches I guess.

One of the fun things about the Brick is there are so many techniques and ways to vape. You have control of the heat, load size, screen placement, mouthpiece direction, volume of hit, and taste. You can easily find what works for you and then dial it in.

*July fourth may be extra fun this year. Not promising anything, but keep your eyes open, it's coming soon.

I am sending out a small stir tool with the Brick for those who prefer a more sleek look then the tweezers sticking to the side. It's very good for screen removal. Push down in the center of the screen and force the edges up just a bit, use the spoon side to get under it and lift it up, then dump it out or grab with the tweezer/flashlight.

Hope this helps. I will agree with above that is one of the biggest nuances of the design. Not impossible, but i have damaged a few Daisy screens during removal.

One thing on my wishlist would be some trick to getting the screen out. A tool or something, I'm not sure. I actually keep a tiny part peeled up to make it easier to take it out. That was only after I took a chunk out of the shelf trying too hard with some tweezers.

Try a large paper clip. Straighten half of it out. Bend the tip at a 45 degree angle aiming for a length of 1/3 inch on the bend. Then stick it through the carb hole angle it upwards and push the screen up. It will pop the screen out with no damage. I usually use some tweezers from the top to pull it out. On a Daisy but probably a SB in the future!
