Can anyone recommend a page in this thread for getting me started/first time use. Ie: loading it up and basic technique.

Or can people please post their full current ritual so I can compare to my mighty right away please.

Peace love and clouds
A few pages back there were quite a few posts about draw speed, tamping, feathering, technique, etc.
can't look for you now, but it was pretty recent.

So it seems I keep getting unlucky in needing customer service and then getting lucky in the quality of service I get. This time it is in relation to some adapters that I bought from @PlanetVape to use with my Mi. Unfortunately I had received the adapters after I had sent my Mi in for repair so I hadn't gotten a chance to check if they fit. I had told PV that it was for the Mi when I ordered and we both expected the adapters to work. They didn't. None of the adapters fit properly and wouldn't seal in the female joint.

Thankfully PV was awesome in response. They answered my email quickly and had the solution of shaving the ends of the joints they were going to send me down a bit to ensure they fit. The next day they sent me a package that included the replacement adapters as well as a return label for the adapters that didn't fit. They actually thanked me for my patience because the replacement went out the day after I emailed them instead of that day because some work needed to be done on the adapters.

Now here comes the bonus, they also included in my replacement package a PVFS (Planetvape Flavour Saver) Mouthpiece. It is a short mouthpiece with the joint cut down by a few mm to keep the load away further away from the heater. As well, because it is a bit further away, this allows them to put an eq elbow type screen (but slightly smaller). I really like this stem and it has replaced my existing short stem. The short stem is what I use most of the day, so the PVFS in effect has become my daily driver until later in the afternoon when I move to using water. I think that having less glass and the load further away allows me to have more even heating. And the flavour really does stick around until the end of the bowl on low temps. More testing is needed!

Question for those who use the shopxhale adapters. What do you use for a bowl? The hole on mine is much too large to fit a normal rbt screen. I think these might be useful but I need to figure out a bowl for them first.

By bowl, do you mean screen? I use two screens in my adapter from shopxhale. I remove the stock 1" screen that comes in it. I then take an RBT screen and spread out the sides to make a 45 degree angle or more. I then push it into the back of the joint ever so carefully with the back of a bic pen. If you push to hard you will have to remove it and spread the sides out again. If you don't push hard enough it won't stick in place and will fall back out the way you pushed it in. Once this screen is in place, I take the original screen and put it back in it's place. It works great for me! Here's a couple pics:

I tried a bunch of other shopxhale adapters recently and they are all ISO length on the 18mm male joints so I would not suggest the following for direct use with the Milaana:
http://www.shopxhale.com/products/3232
http://www.shopxhale.com/products/8132
http://www.shopxhale.com/products/3233

Here are two that work. I use the first regularly with water daily and the screen setup mentioned above. The second was just a, why not see if it fits but I doubt I will ever use it. Not really even sure of it's intended purpose really...

Hope this helps some of you!

Thanks for this explanation. This is exactly what I was looking for. I did mean screen when I wrote bowl. I think I will need to do some tinkering and figuring it out. I think there is some good potential with these.

And maybe a copper penny would help fill a gap under copper plate better than a dime (silver copper mix?)
Well, if you are talking US pennies, since 82 or so they have been about 98% zinc, which is only about 1/4 as good a conductor as copper. Still conducts, but not nearly as well.

Added: So after saying that I thought I'd check the dime. "Dimes are made out of an alloy (a mixture of metals) of 91.67 percent copper and 8.33 percent nickel (before 1965, the dime was made out of silver). "

So, and OLD dime (pre 65) would be the best as silver is the best conductor. And then a newer dime would still be better than a newer penny, but an older penny would be second best. :)

That vid is requiring a sign in...

Fixed. :)

That looks like the D020-D. My straight D020 has become my easy reach for with Bam Bam, just because it is small and easy. They pair well. :)

Tho, I have to admit I have been trending back to Venus more, especially after I have already indulged. Less thinking necessary... ;)

Milaana was down for the count earlier; that's right, the b#tch stopped putting out. OK, so I dropped her...Not far, less than 2 feet onto carpet but when she came up it was all "Go vape yourself". Sheer terror; I guess that's how you know you're hooked, when even the fantasy of Milaana leaving your life is enough to cause panic. OK maybe not, but DAMN what happen? Maybe, just maybe, the battery spring retention device needs more "sproing"... OK again, probably most owners don't clamp the battery adjust terminal with the same "vigor" that I do (Raise your hands all you 40 year every day for several hours a day martial artists. ;)) Anyway, there is a gap between the battery and the top clamp!!! Grrrrrr!!!! So I figure let's fill the gap! Dimes I say! But they don't work. Neither 1 nor 2 would seem to do the trick. Which of course doesn't mean that approach MIGHT not work; rememberr I'm a gram and a sixpack into this. So I take the mechanism apart, remove a washer and "Bob's yer uncle", we back in business. Oh there is one more washer to go which leads me to think this was a Known problem. Anyone else have the same issue?
Alternate fix: gently pull the metal spring back into shape. You'll need a tool to reach it, I used a piece of bailing wire w a simple "L" hook at the end. A few seconds of gentle-but-constant pulling, measure, repeat.

The tension spring for the battery is a simple little piece of flat stock bent into a triangle underneath the battery, with the other end screwed into the base piece of wood. This simple spring design deforms with the impact of the battery when dropped and landing on the base - both times I've dropped Pascal that's happened.

There are a few other Milaana videos in Vapelife X's channel, he is @WakeAndVape on here. Other users have posted videos too. I believe @Bravesst and @AJS have posted videos that could help you.

Anyone...? I'm still trying to get in touch with RBT for a refund that I'm owed. I filled out his refund form twice now months ago. PM if anyone can help, thx
Were you nice to him? It seems you need to put a nice statement in the 'Reason for Refund' box to get one in a timely manner. Also, no complaining. He's a mad genius that mustn't be bothered.

Pardon my sarcasm.
