Milaana kicked my ass in one stem playing disc golf today, love that thing. No stirring just 5 big hits off a micro dose size bowl and on my way. Tonight I'm gonna use my Evo and vapcaps but damn that milaana kicks your ass on the go:tup: it's crazy how stoned the milaana gets you.. My Evo kicks my ass but that milaana gives me a special high off like such a minuscule ammount of bud. It makes me want another log vape more and more as that is what it reminds me of. Anyways thought I'd make this up cuz It feels like it's been a while since I made a post about using my Mi.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend
Stay vaped :peace::leaf:
I remember when you first got on board! Haven't seen you posting much here but I've definitely seen you around! When you have a bunch of new toys it's hard to really get involved with just one. Always glad when you post, good content!

It really isn't fair how stoned this thing can get you on the go. It's insane.

Thanks dude! I try to keep up with this thread but it just moves so quick and my new toys have kept me busy on others haha. even with the changes in my vape lineup I love the milaana. Use it every day. Can't beat the great heat signiture that seems to get you a different kind of high that I love, and the way it conserves. Thing conserves as well as my Evo and I enjoy small loads more with it :) glad to see this tread up at the top of the portables. It really is a great vape and it's one of my favorites. Favorite to use forsure, the process is not a chore, it has become fun for me haha :)

I've been using my OGB 14/18 adapter as a mouthpiece. Feels like I can control the heat a little better than the wide open stock mouthpiece. Plus it's pretty compact to carry.
Me too. My favorite stem. ;)
EDIT: With the obvious advantage of being able to go to water any time you want a change.

Looks like I'll never be using my brand new ff2 again. Haha
Sold mine...

Throat irritation still there too. Not sure how to proceed. Water defeats the purpose, and not into complicated setups. I wanna load and go.
@AJS
I'll give you method a go. Gotta say, I'm craving regulated. If Zion was available, I'd have to make a move. MiMi is work to get it right, and frustration when you don't. I need to achieve the consistency I get with my AA's (Load, turn on, wait 2 minutes, pull huge sweet clouds). For mindless vaping, with the ability to stay present and not feel like you're just vaping, AA still beats Mi at this point :bang:.

Preheat 4s
Press and pull 4s
No press and pull 2s
Like I said, a bit of work, albeit worth it

Both of those clouds tasted sweet...

What degree is there hot vapor and or throat irritation?

Hot vapor only happens at the end of the batteries cycle imo.

You can also tell when the battery is getting low because the unit starts to get warm to the touch when heating.

So if you keep a stock of fresh batteries and don't squeeze the cycles out like me...you'll be fine.

I would suggest buying at least 8 batteries
To match your Mighty usage.

You won't use ALL of them every day...but you will have the number of fresh ones needed per day to avoid the heat.

I have to say it looks like an amazing vape. I would like to take 5 or 8 second (short) draws opposed to 12 or more seconds for other great vapes.

Also I am going to order from planetvape.ca who seems to have had an early batch of these vapes.
Is there any concern in getting g an early inferior model ei: hot spots. Subpar quality control? But as it seems my only way to get one in canada and I am a happy customer of planetvape.ca.

I believe the units they sent to planet vapes were retail models...

Early pre-orders got beta units (or rough drafts)

Plus they all have lifetime warranties.

If any of the ascetic qualities aren't up to par...they are even offering free service for corrections.

Hard to go wrong...but the only foreseeable issue could be turn around time or communication speed.

man i am really sorry that your having problems getting your vape dialed in. This thing should be able to hit you much harder than an AA on max. I mean the AA is great it's just not a full convection vape, it's a session vape to a point and the mi is on demand, I can get as stoned of 1 hit with the Mi as an entire AA bowl gets me and that could be over 7 hits sometimes. Idk I started vaping with a e nano and I would just rip that thing so 1-3 hits would get me medicated, a small load could get extracted in those hits and I would be super medicated, same thing with the mi, load up like less than .1 and kill it in 1-3 hits. Maybe this just is not your vaping style? The AA is a conduction/convection session vape, maybe your missing the conduction? I mean when I got the mi I knew I would be getting fast extraction, if I was looking for something to session on this would be the wrong thing.

Not sure if I just have an easy to work with unit, if I'm used to the MFLB from the old days, or if I'm just lucky, but I have absolutely no issue with consistency and the Milaana. How I accommodate the rise in heat, feathering, etc, is all automatic to me. I get pretty much the exact same results every time I vape. I haven't charred in a month, only through water will I even get close, and I can hold flavor til the end of a bowl if the herb is good enough.

I don't count. I don't do a routine. I push a button and wait a few seconds, sometimes 2, sometimes 5, completely random, and I just adjust my draw accordingly when the heat begins, regardless of the preheat. It's all based on feedback and just knowin your unit.
Maybe my technique will need to change when the new one arrives, but unless the temp spike is insanely extreme, I can't imagine id have any difficulty. Not sure where the difficulty arises for a lot of you, but like I said, maybe my newer model will help me understand?
I can do an entire sesh on a consistent low temp if I want. I can low temp early in then shoot it up towards the end to finish it. It's amazing, temp stepping mid hit without the need of another hand or twisting of a knob is quite amazing.

Flip dome style, fluffy herb, not too fine, push screen down, and sip. Easy peasy to avoid charring.
Let off the gas, slam that clutch in, and shift.

Thank you man, I didn't know how to explain the fact that my technique for this thing is, I don't have one..? Like its just automatic now.. I really just prime, hold, let go, blow out. The ammount of time for the steps changes depending and load size and the hit I want. I haven't charred a stem in a while and combustion? Only has happened once. I get the same results every time and the only time they change is if my battery gets real low and then I notice it because i can't get visual milk in a piece or when dry the avb will stay real light.. Maybe less thinking is more when it comes to this thing lol.

All the discussion about technique reminds me precisely of using my Lily and other butane vapes. Power source with almost unlimited heat, draw control necessary. I don't have a routine when using butane vapes either, really, I just adjust on the fly.

This is exactly how I use mine, I get perfect extraction, no hotspots and I don't stir except maybe once at the end to try and get the last hit out. Also I find using a medium grind is better than grinding it really fine.

I still haven't combusted with the mi but I guess I'm extremely careful with manual vapes when I start plus I swear this thing is just a stronger hammer. It is very similar in being main difference is butane vs batts and hammer takes longer but same sort of manual feel. And you can get massive hits with the hammer and dare I say it might be a bit smoother as the stems are way smaller in diameter. But I have this crazy fear of combusting..haha it's almost as if if I combust then I will be resetting my smoke free clock..I've been assured awhile back that accidental combustion doesn't count..haha..but I'm just extremely careful, until I get a method down and it's pretty much like others have posted basically I start slow and ramp up til I start to feel the heat and then let off and ride the residual heat wave.

I had the groove when my first one was working right.... every hit! This seems harder to control or maybe I need to unlearn a bit. Frustrated.

How does one cash the whole bowl in one hit? I've seen that in this thread a few times.
