I'm hoping to see more Omni reviews from people who just got one. I really want one but find it a bit hard to justify the price when you could buy 5 OG Vapcaps for the price of one Omni and the design is really new. The worst things I've heard about the Omni is that the vapor path is too short and the vapor is a bit harsh as a result, when putting it together and taking it apart it's a bit tight due to the O-ring fit, and that the edges around the hole were a bit sharp (I don't know if they are more finished now).

I'm hoping to get one before the price goes up though.
I bought one because I have the glassy Ti and have dropped it a few times so I wanted the durability. So far I'm liking it and using the Ti body. I have it adjusted till I can barely tell the difference between whether the hole is covered when taking a draw. I'm really like the V cut of the tip making it easier to use without hands. I'm using the Ti body and I feel like it may help dissipate heat better so I'm not as likely to toast my last heat cycle. I also don't have control over the strains I have and switched around the time I got the OV so that may be a factor so it's still hard to judge. On my Glassy Ti I like to cover the hole for a few seconds and then release. I feel with the OV I can maybe get more flavor and vape without having to cover the hole because of the find adjustment. I'm not really uncomfortable with the heat of the vape and haven't really noticed. That may be because I usually draw with the hole closed on the regular models.

Can you post a picture of the mystery piece?

If not, can you provide more info? Short bodies are 45mm long which is close to 2" and they would have a small carb hole drilled into the side. What is it made of? Is the gray tube as wide as a Ti tip? Or is it a narrow tube made out of metal like a condenser?

How many condensers do you have? If you ordered a Ti Woody, an Omni and an XL Condenser, you would have 2 short contenders, one for the Ti and one for the Omni and the longer XL Condenser.

The only pieces that I can think of without a picture to look at would be short bodies and condensers.

That's the titanium body for your Omnivap. The Omnivap is all metal, titanium and SS. All the Omnivap pre-orders also come with a glass short body. Your Omni, in the picture above is wearing the glass body.

You have three short body options to use with your Omni; a Blackwood short body, the Titanium short body and the Glass short body.

You also have in your picture a regular Cocobolo body. It uses the XL Condenser with the wood mouthpiece shown at the bottom of your picture instead of the Omni condenser with the Titanium mouthpiece.

The Omni is my driver. There is absolutely no heat problem using the titanium sleeve. And, there are no sharp edges to mine. The adjusting value is fantastic. I have it so that it draws just like a, dare I say, Marlboro used to draw. Oh it brings back memories, which i fine.

I use a bit of oil pad "steel wool" instead of the screen. I ball up a tiny bit and inset it where the screen was. It is really easy to burn clean and easy to set just inside the edge of herb chamber so it stays when you blow pipe the abc, but is easy to get out, too if you want to replace or soak it.

The O rings fit perfectly. Much better than my woody's. The titanium makes for some precision fits. No more red O ring either. All the same size. A bit of spit and in the thing fits. Perfect tolerance.

INDESTRUCTIBLE does not describe the instrument. You could run it over with a Mac truck, no sweat. Sooner or later you are going to drop those 5 glass puppies, just admit it.

Get one.

Now before the price goes up and the wait time increases.

Could someone point me to pictures or something so that I can figure out where the O rings go on the woody and omni? Also I am having trouble figuring out how to get the XL into my Vong. Or rather how to get it to stay in place. I think that must be related to the o-rings but can't make sense of it.
I have other questions about changing bodys on the omni and woody but I want to experiment with what I can already figure out before expanding.

Here is a link to several videos that may be of help to you in the assembly and dismantling of the Ti Woody, Omnivap and VonG.

You might also try lubricating the orings prior to sliding the condenser into its body. Spit is a very good lubricant for this purpose.

Known to some and enigma to others
I am one of those people with the XL condenser and MP who is desperately awaiting a DynastashXL to fit the longer length.

I have been keeping an eye out for a temporary solution and I just had a thought that I could use a cigar tube and I found a pretty large variety on Amazon including this one.
Copper and African Wenge Wood Luxurious Cigar Tube - 100% Airtight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012GY8CFW/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_JLFzxb92CY0N1

Can anyone think of a reason this might not be a good idea? I was thinking there are even double barrel ones to hold 2 cigars that I cuss use 1 side for the Vapcap and one for the tube that came with it full of herb.

Am I in to something here or missing something?

Damn you, party liquor
@CharmCityVapeGuy Your link isn't working for me but it could be me;-)

Do a quick search for King doob tubes for a simple cheap solution. I've made a couple of XL holders for my ti burly and XL mp but I picked up one of these 109mm-ish tubes and have been carrying mine in it for the last couple of weeks. Easy to open and lightweight.

Here's a quick shot of most of my collection.

Wow that's a beautiful collection you got there buddy! Just wanted to ask, have you got your omni mouthpiece and condenser in the vong, or just the mouthpiece? And if just the mouthpiece, how have you done it? with orings?

I've gott say, this omnivap is a thing of beauty- and works marvellously!!
I just spent the weekend in a gypsy hut in the woods, and I brought my ti Woody instead (which has an earlier ti tip design). It served me great, along with my dynastash, and it really fit the 'atmosphere' if you like, sitting in a wood fired hottub under the stars, drinking wine with my girlfriend and taking hits from the ti Woody... It was beautiful!

However, whether it is the new ti tip design, or just the omnivap in general, I just got home and hit the omnivap, and the vapour production is just so much denser/flavourful/long lasting/better/easier. Il have to swap the tips around and see if my old tip on the omni works just as well, because it could be that (especially seeing as I've never taken out and cleaned the screen in the old tip).

Anyway, yea the omnivap is an amazing vape. I draw on it now like you would a cigarette, taking the hit into your mouth first and then breathing it down, which not only cools but also moisturises the vapour before it passes your throat- thus less dryness and irritation. You can achieve the same effects with the ti Woody, but you have to control the airflow with your finger over the carb- with the omnivap you can just set it and forget it, and never really cover the carb at all!

I'm in love, just need to get this girl a burl ball gown and we're ready to dance!

Peace

Damn the Omnivap looks amazing! My Ti Body is different from the ones I have seen so far, it looks like beadblasted and I totally love the touch

quick question about the dynastasher: mine came with a hole in the center instead of the reservoir compartment. Is that how they come?

That should be where the titanium dabber goes into if you have one with your DynastashER. if I'm understanding your question correctly.

There's a video on the DynaVap website that shows you what the DynastashER is, that may help you out. there isn't a video comparing the dynastash Vs dynastashER there though you can see 'em and read about them both on the accessory page.

The dynastasher video shows a concentrate compartment. I have a dynastasher not a dynastash. Just don't know if it is supposed to come with the concentrate container or not.

These last couple of pages have really made me realize that I am digging the wood bodies. I am begging to understand what VAS really means some have it worst then others.

Im still rocking the OG and reclaiming the goodies on the glass. The argument of upgrading is becoming hard to ignore glass will break I'm on my third body.

That leads me to this question has anyone been reclaiming with the SS condenser tubes or just cleaning in ISO?

Torch vapes all the way!
The vapcap surprises me everytime i use it. It feels like it a covection vape because i really good head buzz i can compare the buzz to my firewood 3 but the vapcap was a little bit more enjoyable after using my firewood for a while. Now im considering the omnivap but still on the edge about it

@b0, can you tell us about your Ti body? Did you request a custom finish, or prototype? Or did George just randomly send you a blasted body?

I have noticed a few different Ti body patterns for the Omni and George did post a few different ones a while back. Do you get the body pictured on the website unless you request something different?

Do not care for the matte finish on the Ti tube. I think it looks much cheaper with the matte finish differing from the other shiny pieces. If all the pieces were uniformed matte finished or a uniformed shiny finish I believe I would possibly feel differently. I think the omni is an ugly little vape now.

:2c:

I've only seen one person post a picture of the matte finish Ti Omni, a few others posted the shiny Omni's they just recieved. My impression is that George is experimenting with the matte finish on some of the Omni's, but so far most have been the shiny version. Earlier versions had knurling on the body, but recently he stopped the knurling. Some of the bodies now have just a few lines that have replaced the knurling and other versions have no knurling at all. He also has a copper puddle version and copper stoned version that he posted as an option. I don't know for sure, but I doubt he's getting rid of the shiny versions. George likes to experiment a lot. He may be responding to requests from the customer or simply changing things up without consulting the customer, I'm not sure. But I know that George is very responsive to customer requests.

I would like to see the matte version in colors like the Grasshopper, otherwise I also like the shiny version more due to the finish and the uniformity.
