why u need 2 decimals lol

For simple purchases you don't particularly, but it's good to have anyway because it ensures slightly better accuracy. You might also end up deciding you'd like to weigh out your usage to some extent, either to control dosage or to ration out what you have, and a hundredths gram is a lot more accurate for that.

If all you want a scale for, period, is basic purchases by the gram, look at a My Weigh Triton. Those are generally well recommended pocket scales with 0.1g resolution and no frills.

Because some of us want to make sure we didn't get ripped off. Also I like to weigh out for edibles or tinctures. Accuracy is important.

I have a Triton T2. It's like $14. through Amazon.

I bought mine at a headshop a long time ago during the black market days. I paid like $18. Back in the day I wanted to make sure I was getting an accurate amount.

Considering .05-.02 are doable loads on some vapes, .01 scales do it but .025 is even cooler.
Had .001 scales ages ago lost them, used to love getting a bit of paper for shits and giggles, grinding a gram, splitting the gram and then split the .5g into even small loads to lay out individually like counting out coins, strange but oddly therapeutic. Kind of cool to see how how little you can need for a nice visible hit.

I have this scale, it works very well. Particularly if your using the included boat to check weights so your not trying to just weigh 15mg. I calibrate it every few times I use it. But it's normally not anymore then 3mg off the calibration weights. Very accurate and if you calibrate and use something to weigh on so your in the mid range of the scale I am almost always within 1-2mg.

I like this scale for doses and dabs, it's precision is to milligrams which provides confidence to me about its accuracy at 100ths of a gram. Not what you want to use for heavier weight, but those type of scales are common and inexpensive. I rather agree that one scale for all weight ranges is a tough ask for cheap digital scales

I also have this scale is I need to weight something greater but still not kgs
