Might want to look into an enail to save on fuel costs. I haven't looked back since I got mine =)

If you go with a big tank you'll likely need to build some connectors/fittings from your hardware store but I imagine it'll be way cheaper than individual cans.

Hello fellow members, concentrate noob here, dry herb vaper mainly..
Not sure if this is the right spot but quick question:
Are the standard oil cartridges that one can buy from most dispensaries refillable?
Seems cheaper to just get more oil and refill..

Nothing silly in here, were were all noobs once and that is why i started this discussion.
Most carts are not refillable, but perhaps some are out there... you may want to look into w9tech, i believe they have a big refillable cart.
I think it is time for a thread dedicated to prefilled cart discussion.

Well, not REALLY a noob, but new to nails. Kind of confused by the temperatures I've been reading about in one of the threads... they are above pyrolytic levels (>600 F, some reach around 900!), so I guess the purity of the concentrate has to be EVERYTHING here. Phew!
If I were the right person to write it, I would =) I need a primer myself. Too much wasted oil on the bottom of my quartz domeless using the 20mm heater. I have a bottom heater with quartz hybrid dish that should be here today so will see how temps are different using that setup.
What I'm doing now is about 770 for no carb cap on titanium, 740 on domeless quartz nail and carb cap. I do a heat cleaning on the nails at 850F for about an hour.

A lot of them are. Unscrew the mouthpiece, you should see a blue or clear little nipple, pull it out, then you have to have a syringe or plastic adapter piece and a plastic syringe(like the ones RSO come in) that will allow it to flow in. The carts can burn out though.

Most likely it still has trace amount of wax in the wick(little white part on bottom of cart) and thats what you are getting. Its harsher generally, but smoke it till you feel there is no more really.

I'm new to E-nails and I'm trying to determine the best operating temperatures. This is a picture of a new Ti with only a few small sessions on it. Does it look like the temperature is right or could it be higher? Lower? Maybe capping it too soon?

First picture looks like it wasted a little, but you got to waste to taste(lol)
Second picture looks like you finished it completely.
Its all really personal preference based on bigger hit vs taste

I keep acquiring wax that doesn't come off the paper in one nice piece, it always leaves a significant amount of wax on the parchment paper which I have to scrape off. Now I have like 6 of these parchment papers like in the image below, is there any smart way of getting all that goodness off the parchment paper besides painstakingly scraping it? Heating/Cooling it?

Get a tool like this.Basically something with a sharp/flat tip. Scrape at it. 99 percent will come off.
EDIT: The top one would work the best, but all would work fine.

I have an almost identical scraper, and while it does get a good amount of it off, I feel like there's still a lot of wasted wax!
Also the paper is so thin that half the time I scrape it it punctures a hole in the paper making further scraping even harder!
If there's no magic solution I'll understand, and next time I'm buying better wax that comes off in one nice piece.

It just might be the quality of your wax then... If what i mentioned failed, and you seem to keep ripping paper, freeze it, then try to tap it off the paper, and refreeze as needed.

Hey so another concentrate noob with a question here. I live in an area where I'm unable to get any concentrate so I was thinking of making some dabs with the rosin method using a hair straightener. Is anyone familiar with this and would they be able to comment on its efficiency versus the other traditional methods? I'm interested in trying out concentrates but at the same time don't want to risk blowing up my house so this hair straightener method seems like it would be convenient.

I personally like:
575-725 for ti with the torch or enail + carb cap
600 for my banger or quartz puddle swing

It's changed over time but now I dab at 610F on both my Sapphire and SiC Halo's. I like low temp dabs and q-tipping after so I try to aim to go high enough for a decent hit but low enough that the leftovers don't burn up and/or harden too quickly.

Yeah, exactly - 'n furthermore, the hardware itself seems to be a significant factor as well. For example, I set my EVO for 2:00, which is a little under 400°, while I set my Errlectric to 620° when using the full quartz nail, and 700° when using the herb nail.

I needed some input for my next experiment. I have ABV that I'm going to make Tincture with according to this recipe http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/master-wus-green-dragon-tincture-w-abv.15910/ If I take the Tincture, put it in a glass bowl and put a fan on it for a day or two to evaporate the alcohol, could I then use the "oil" left over to mix with puff magic? I want to use it as an e-cig juice. I know alcohol eats through plastic but I have some nice metal and glass atomizers that are specifically for thicker oil. If anybody has any thoughts , please let me know.

I had this problem and I took some organic cotton and rubbed it around the paper, it collected the wax nicely. After I was done I wrapped it in a little more cotton and vaped it with my E-Nano.
