Umm not to derail the topic but have you tried the Mighty portable? It's great for group sessions and hits hard.

I have not. I have used the Airizer Solo since I started vaping exclusively since it hasnt given me a reason to buy another vape. Whenever I have a group sesh I roll Js because that isnt very often. But I will do some research on the Mighty now that I know about it.

+1 on the mighty , it hits hard and smooth , you'll never want to go back to j's after using it.

Ive done some homework on it, and I think im going to pull the trigger tomorrow. VapeRush has it and does price matching, I found the lowest price at 349.99 which I think is a good price for the product. And it just so happens they are running a free shipping promotion right now. The massive rips, long battery life, build quality, vapor quality, and adjust ability of temperature should be great for groups and should allow me to finally quit combusting once and for all. I appreciate you guys pointing me in the right direction, im so juiced to try this thing out!

My buddies still smoke joints and sometimes I'll join them. I refrain from telling them how nasty it tastes and how little I enjoy how my fingers smell afterwards.

Ya usually these days I'll brush my teeth after smoking or at least wash my hands. My friend that's a girl says that the worst is after smoking a joint her hair will get in her face and smell like straight smoke...sounds pretty shnasty...

A couple days ago a neighbor passed me a joint when I walked by after saying hello so I took a drag. It tasted like burning plant matter, what can I say? I could barely taste the weed. I knew he smoked it and needed to kinda break the ice to say I also use it and am a friendly. He gave me a few buds and damn does it taste good in a vape. It is better than anything in any local dispensary for sure. The dispensaries charge double the black market for similar quality. At times even more than that. I committed sacrilege though. :( Honestly I could barely taste any cannabis taste at all. It just tasted like burning.

I said this before too where most people who smoke will roast the cherry till its glowing orange and I see smoking as having a low temp and high temp too except much more extreme. A 600 degree cherry is a lot smoother and better tasting than a 1200 degree cherry...also with joints I like to make them not too long as towards the end a lot of what you're smoking is just tar that was caught from the rest of the joint burning. When I roll a joint my crutch will usually be half of the length of the joint and that also helps the smoke cools as it travels the length of the crutch. But yes smoke will never have the flavor that vaping does. Cool guy to just give you some nugs to try out

Ya haha joints can get quite costly. I was always the guy buying in as much bulk as I could afford and having it last a couple months, or so I'd hope haha. Now a days with vaping being so efficient and my tolerance down I buy 3 or 4 grams of each strain and just keep building my supply I have like 10 grams across 5 strains and that's enough for me for like probably 2 months at my rate if I only vape. If I was rolling joints it'd be gone in 2 weeks lol

From September 2013 no tobacco, no joint... only vaping.
Last week a friend told me I had a space weed do you like to light up together? I said no, I don't like tobacco. It was a hard week without stuff.
No more joint in my life. :myday:

I think one thing we should make clear here too is whether we're talking about joints with tobacco or without. In the US a joint traditionally is pure weed while in many other countries it traditionally has tobacco

After a few weeks of straight vaping I rolled a little doobie just to see if I could still do it without coughing my lungs out like a novice. That was before a party where I knew a lot of fellow tokers from the old days would be present. I was 51 then, so occasions like this are rare, normally I would be the only stoner around. I was quote surprised how little it affected me, mainly I guess because the weed I smoked was well cured. It didn't taste that great, but it was bearable. Turned a bit nasty though when I was in the last third of it. I noticed though how I started to dislike the effect of the carbon monoxide. It kinda dulled the experience, and I felt considerably less high. I managed the party well, smoked a lot, coughed a bit and got a headache after some hours of oxygen deprivation. That was about a year ago, and I only smoked a jay when a friend (as in one, cause only one friend of mine is still toking) would offer me a joint. Occasionally I'll try to turn him on to the vaping side of life, but I'm not that much of a proselytiser and he is compensating his kicking the tobbacco just recently, so I'll give him some time ;). I wouldn't miss a bit if I never smoked again.

I quit smoking 2+ pack a day cigarettes and went to using my Arizer for home and Haze for the road, and since then, I can't even smoke a joint. Someone handed me one and I smoked it out of habit and all I could taste was paper from the joint and it tasted horrible. Now at parties or social, I just pass on joints.

I don't know...I will smoke a joint rarely and in certain cirumstances...mostly out and about from the house.

I don't make a habit of it, but don't see it as sacrilege either.

I was at a business conf in Denver and went to the store and bought a 1 g pre-roll of Bubba Kush as a sleep aid. Darn thing lasted me three days....I sure couldn't smoke this joint like I did 40 years ago or so.

I actually took a draw off a joint the other day at a memorial of a close friend. Out of politeness and in honor of a big stoner.

He smoked joints and bongs. I did talk to him once about vaporizing. I said you don't have to worry much about smell and it's healthier for you. He smoked cigs too. A man very set in his ways. He died of a sudden heart attack. He was only 60 and had 5 kids and like 14 grandkids. The world was a much better place with him in it.

Couldn't get the smell out of my nose just from the one draw. How did I smoke joints for so long before I saw the light? Thanks to this forum.
