So I've been getting great results with my Woody! Thank you so much for all the help honing this thing in with the posts on this thread you guys. It's awesome and I'm getting the most out of my black shorty.

Tonight after a session with the Evo I Pulled out the Woody, packed 2 loads and got probably 3 hits, at least big ones off the first, then I went higher temp, 2 huge hits, this was all through my fc-187 by the way; I love mixing the VapCap vapor with the pure convection vapor of my Evo, it is the best of combos and honestly this thing keeps up in taste and production.. I mean it's not an Evo they are totally different things that I will not compare lol. Vape vs Vap is how i will put that one. The missing e is on purpose.

It is so amazing that I can get such even extraction and hits that twist my head around with this thing, the result is surprising light nice abv recently now that I'm getting better with my heating system. This little vape really is a beautiful, genius device. Hope I can give a little feedback of how I use this thing for others who are thinking of adding it to their collection.
Peace
Stay vaped :leaf:

Sorry to see your loss @VAPEHUNTER. I was thinking how could it happen but you gave a graphic enough description. What impresses me is that the rest of it held up unscathed & you just need to buy her a new dress for the dance for $35 or so. Not many vapes would survive such a crushing beating that I can think of.

Thats a nice method you have set up there @Quint & it looks very tasty indeed. As for lighters I have a couple Honest triple torches & they work well but I will invest in a couple twin torches from Honest as they seem to strike the balance of efficiency & power.

@Qwin8 you will need to exercise patience & wait or email George & ask what he will have stock ready to ship soonest. Pretty sure every time you change your order like that you slip back further in the queue as that would make logical sense from a supply chain perspective. Email the main man & ask as he will probably want to help you out with this issue.

As for the OV I think that may be the one & I am a bit jealous of @ZC so please keep up the feedback. The two reasons I did not order a OV was because I am used to other manufacturers pushing back preorders by months/years & wanted it sooner. It would have been only another $20 or so to my TiBurly but what can I say. burl?

Really glad to see everyone here is enjoying their VapCaps as much as I am as this is a special one. So who has ordered a tshirt? I wish I had :(

I agree, gotta love the modular design. I'm amazed everything else held up so well.

Yeah, besides the body the only other damage was to the mouth piece. But the fact that the condenser tube took the impact with just a little scuff mark really surprised and impressed me as well.

My Omnivap is getting sent today!! Can't wait to have it, I'm missing my Ti Glassy so much

This is without a doubt an amazing vaporizer, I still remember that when I ordered mine at the start of the year I just wanted to try something new but wasn't expecting that this will become my daily driver when out of home. That's how good it is!! You can see in my list of vapes that I have really good options to choose, but even if I took another vape with me, the Ti Glassy was always in my pocket!!

This baby was delivered today. I ordered Saturday night. Less than a week. I am in awe of this thing. I was upgraded from a glassy ti to this and I couldn't be happier. I am free of nicotine for good. So I sold my ecig gear and bought this. Will post more after I try her out for a bit. Have a great day everyone. I know I will. Thank you dynavap!

Watching a movie late at night in the dark after a long day and doing "one more bowl" too many I briefly torched the wrong end of my vapcap s. Soooooooooooo stuuuuuuuuupiiiiiiiiiiiiid.

Thankfully after a thorough wax massage the wood looks ok minus a shameful scorch mark. I know it's not as sad as your story @VAPEHUNTER , I'm sorry for your loss.

WOW!!! :whoa:

The VapCap even has a self regulating consumption control monitor. :spliff:
When you heat the wrong end it just don't, won't, ain't gonna work.
No how...No way. :lol::lol::rofl::rofl::rofl::lmao:

Sorry for that. Couldn't help it. I am sad to hear that you burnt your woody.

Think of the mark as a proverbial "notch in the belt". Years from now you will gaze lovingly at your accumulated scorches with fond memories.

What do you guys do for cleaning your vaps?

My temptation is to just soak it in alcohol like most of my other vape products but I worry about alcohol getting trapped under the O-rings.

You dismantle your vap completely, soak the tip and condenser, don't soak your wood if you have a Ti/Woody.

You can push the ceramic screen and retainer ring out with a q-tip. I just torch the ceramic clean, don't torch it red hot, just pulse it till its clean.

Must be lucky because they definitely aren't caught up as I ordered two weeks ago and haven't heard anything and lots of others ordered a month ago.

Dangit, now I wish I ordered cocobolo

No worries, Every cloud has a silver lining.
I received a PM from George Yesterday afternoon offering me a replacement body (my choice of wood) all I have to do is pay for shipping.

@VapCap is in the truest sense of the word a "Gentleman". Most companies would see my situation as an opportunity to make some more $$$. George saw it as an opportunity to help me out.

Thank you very much, George!:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Hey guys, first post on this forum, I have had a ti woody for about 3 months now, still loving it. Recently picked up a double torch and it's a great improvement over the single torch. Faster and more even heating I find.

Anyways I had my vapcap in my possession for all of 5 minutes before I started tinkering with it. Shaved down a nautilus mouthpiece to fit. Also made a dugout out of a piece of cedar.

The mouthpiece worked great until I split the wood trying to force it in with an oring not on properly. Still works fine. Have an xl condenser and mouthpiece on order and george said he could include a crown so I can try to repair it. Here's a few pics.

So awesome, I can actually imagine George doing something like this which is insane for a company owner in America. He truely is a great guy and he deserves all the success in the world when it comes to this buisness:clap:so awesome he just replaced it for you man  things like this make me feel good because I know I'm going to have my VapCap forever :)

I have the short with mouthpiece and I don't see any downside, once you have it together and the mp secure you can just slide the fat plastic one over for water use and if not it just always has the mp and looks beautiful, it also spins and yes you can hold it in your mouth like a cigar ;)

Love the way this Forum and specially this Thread works guys...
It is an internet oasis and it is because of all of you members and obviously George!:clap:

So last week I've been using the glassy combinations I've got... and I've been enjoying them!:science:

But... I just find the Blackwoody waaay more sexy :luv::bowdown:

srRMcJd.jpg

This is how I believe I'll be using it for a long time... I like the extra length the fat mouthpiece gives it too, aswell as the ability to grab it between your teeth!

As you can see I am also using the O-Ring as a "carb hole air flow regulator"... I find it works pretty well and is just one thing less to worry about, specially for new people using it

I really like the Glassy combos, but I think I'll use them exclusively when travelling, as they can be completely ISO cleaned... And I will just use the Blackwoody in house all-day-errry-day :brow::ko:

Keep it like this guys!

Peace!
Thanks for posting this, I actually loved using it this way. I figured I would like the wooden mp more than the fatty, and I do, but it turns out I like the wooden with the fatty on top even more. I'm not worried about teeth or saliva like this, I can cover the carb with something and just absentmindedly puff away hands free while I do something. Plus it keeps the spinning action and adds more length which I actually like. I'm just going to say it, it's got good mouthfeel.

Thanks for the help. Few more questions. What is the benefit of spinning. Also how do I get a shorty there is no option on the site and do the shorty come with the mouth piece or is that extra.

You hold it in such a way while your heating that you use your finger to spin the vap cap while you hold the mouthpiece basically, the benefit is easier heating. I'm bad at explaining things like this maybe someone else can elaborate. Mp is same price 25 dollars. And you just ask George through email for the short body. I think it's sleeker looking than the long one and I haven't had a reason to take the mp off yet even with water and it's cool cuz even with the mp it will fit in my DynastashER :)
