Extreme Vaporizer 260C Edition - which temperatures?

I searched through forums and found that 315C or so was the popular temperature for filling bags at speed 3. That was for the original Extreme Vaporizer. I have a 3d edition one that maxes out at 260C on digital reader. I think the suggestion from the makers is that the latest 260C edition should start giving off vapor at 200C or so. That doesn't seem to be the case for me... (no vapor really...). I use 220C for whip and 235C for bags at fan speed 3. What temperatures do you guys utilize for the whip and the bags IF AND ONLY IF you have the 260C version? Do you pack the big bowl or "cover bowl" that gives off real dense hits?

P.S. I realize that the actual heating unit is the same throughout all versions and the sensor is what got moved. However, I still need opinions of 260C version users to figure out which temperatures are right/suggested

In regular Cyclone bowl? Do you leave the bud in the bowl while the bowl is heating up? For how long?

Thanks, but all I find is advice for 360C Extreme version, which is worthless for 260C version since the only thing I am trying to figure out is the right temperature.

Could you direct me to that specific thread you are talking about?

Check the first thread in the vaporizer specific section. Its right at the top. Read that.

With that model, I would get good vapor at 428F, with the bowl .25 filled.

You sure it was all vapor and not traces of smoke/combustion at those high temps?? How does the herb look when it comes out? Dark brown?

With that small amount, I would get 1 thick bag and then a second decent bag and a third with vapor but it was a little thin. The herb was brown but not black leading to combustion. The only time I have seen the herb get very dark is after blowing a couple bags and leaving it at 428 and not emptying it until an hour and a half later, cooking it that whole time. Arizer originally recommended that number to me and it worked well but like lower temps too, what do you use?

"There are currently 3 revisions of the Extreme. The only way for you to be certain of which version you have is to turn your unit on and dial the temperature to its maximum setting and see how high it goes.

v1 - 350C
v2 - 250C
v3 - 260C
It's important to understand that the temperature of the element and the air hitting the herbs is identical in all 3 revisions. The only difference is the temperature reading on the display."
