Not having success eating my ABV

I simmer my ABV into cannabutter, or canna coconut oil (1 gram per ounce of butter)... then after I've drained it very well, I immerse it in Everclear to soak out the remaining goodness.

I really feel that I good simmer in a fat will pull those fat-soluble goodies out.

Yup. Some people will never get high on edibles. Has something to do with how our bodies can or cannot assimilate THC and process it into 11-hydroxy-THC. For some, they just lack what is necessary to process it.
I get good off of edibles but so far not my abv... even if I eat like two grams!

To be fair, two grams of abv may or may not be much at all depending on how heavily it's been vaped, aside from how strong it was initially. Try an eighth. Or better yet, don't eat it raw, make some butter or coconut oil with it or something, throw it in some brownies.

How can some people with a tolerance feel effects off of a teaspoon yet not me with two measured grams? I was under the impression that you can spend the herb 90 % and still get ripped from a gram. And if it is decarbed how will making it into a butter be more effective than taking it with 3 tbsp of peanut butter? I must admit, my Crafty is a beast. I am not trying to ask these questions as if I already know the answers. I am literally a noob to edibles and ABV.

It's possible that your bud wasn't as strong as the bud they used to start with, although I'd be incredible skeptical if anyone with any sort of tolerance claimed to get ripped off a teaspoon of abv. Even finely ground that's not much at all. It's also possible that your abv has been vaped more than theirs overall, if your abv is darker, it'll have less actives in it. As far as how much more effective than 3tbsp of peanutbutter on some bread or whatever? Well it isn't, but throwing in 14g of abv or even 7g of abv into a brownie mix is going to have a horrible texture and it probably won't taste too good either unless it's been water cured beforehand.

My apologies if it seems like I high jacked the thread, though it seems it could helpful to the op, me and as well as others, but is 240f for 40 minutes, the standard for decarbing and keeping minimal loses of goodies in check.

I read some posts on reddit making claims where the OP ate about 3 teaspoons, I underwhelmed the amount in my post. But this stuff was pretty darn good. I am going to try this with less spent and better herb this weekend and let you guys know. Thanks for the help though , man.

Welcome back, lovers of all things medible, for another installment of Making Marijuana Medibles with Watermelon! In this episode, our vivacious and multi-talented host shows us her spin on what has to be the most-searched marijuana medible recipe of all time, the pot brownie.

From lining the baking pan with flour and parchment paper, to showing us how to exercise patience while waiting for our brownies to finish baking, Watermelon and her charming mother do a delightful job walking us through their method of preparing this delicious medicated treat.

For those of you who may have missed Watermelon’s video tutorial on how to infuse butter, oil and alcohol for cooking purposes just click right here!

*If coffee isn’t your thing you can leave it out of this recipe and it still works just as well, but it does add a nice flavor and a little energy boost!

Ingredients for No Frownie Pot Brownies -“Turn that frown upside down,” Watermelon.

10 grams *shake flour

7 ounces dark chocolate

8 ounces butter (chopped/cubed)

1.75 cups brown sugar

4 eggs

1/3 cup cocoa

1 cup flour (sifted)

1/4 tsp b. powder

1/4 cup dark coffee (finely ground)
Baking directions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 320 F

2. In sauce pan slowly melt shake flour and butter on low heat for 10 minutes

3. Put the chocolate in the sauce pan and turn off heat stirring constantly till melted

4. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, eggs, cocoa, flour, baking powder, and coffee

5. Add slightly cooled chocolate mixture and mix all ingredients together thoroughly

6. Lightly flour base of 9 inch pan and line with parchment paper

7. Pour dough into pan and bake for 30 minutes

8. Let cool completely before serving

The shake flower is decarbed cannabis or ABV finely ground in a coffee grinder. I personally made this recipe with ABV and it is killer. The coffee helps to hide the ABV/cannabis taste. You need to have some life left in your ABV. If your ABV is a black brown with no lighter flakes it may not have any medicine left in it.

Jeez guys, I figured this was worth throwing up here. I threw like 6g of abv on to some pizza with my friend, we each had quite a bit. I was feeling it the next morning... it was amazing. I hadn't felt that way in a long time. Beautiful!
