Nice vid fellas! Did you have both Sup's sealed well? That should have milked solid depending on what you packed in the bowl!
I'm pretty sure it was sealed, I tried adjusting it and it made no improvement.. I think what may have been the issue is that they were both loaded w/ different amounts, and one had shatter in it too.. I think maybe the air flow was just acting weird, fighting for dominance, or something? :hmm: a single one milked it much better.. I totally expected a ridiculous whitewall that I definitely couldn't handle.. Maybe someone else will have more luck..

I love that double bushing setup.. IMO there's no going back.. I love that you can carb it on demand too

So far, this is the only vape I've ever had that's unanimous w/ all the combusters I've shared it w/.. they all love it.. There's no special technique to using it, no focus on draw speed, no stirring, there's steady flavor, full extraction, full hits.. It checks all the boxes.. It seems like everyone's first reaction to seeing it is always how ugly that handle is  but after they hit it, everyone comments on how it doesn't even matter  everyone loves this thing! Most of them like to claim vapor simply doesn't work well, but the S3 left them staring a hole through the wall anyway!

I spent the first couple days staying in the lower temp range and the flavor was crazy.. but I'm the kinda guy that likes to finish the load, and not have to reheat as much, so I started going straight for the higher temps lately.. this thing does not disappoint, no matter what you're going for.. I think I can easily say that this is w/o a doubt the best $120 I've spent since getting into the vape world..

Just so Dab HAppy!
What i have started to do is to not use the rubber grommets.
The bit of silicone that holds the heat exchanger fits perfectly into a 14mm joint!
Since some of my glass is 18 and 14mm i just use a reducer 18-14mm!
No worries about splitting the grommets or a bad seal anymore!
This is what I was doing as well. After a while the silicone will collect reclaim oil as it stains brown and eventually slides around during heating...this is when I replace it with a new one. I ran out so now I am back to the red grommet. I loved how with the clear silicone piece I could pull the Supreme off the bong without the red grommet getting stuck in the female joint on the bong. It's the right way to go IMO:tup:

I use an upside down 18 mm male jointed nectar collector and just pull off the reservoir piece and use it as a carb cap.

So when I use the Supreme I don't really need to pull it off to clear the bong.....but if I want to remove it this is also pretty easy since I connect the Supreme to this 18mm male end by way of an Arizer Extreme bowl which is basically an 18mm f-f adapter and it is very easy to just remove this piece with the Supreme still inside of it

This setup has been working very well for me

Just a performance report......all good news of course ......and sorry about the double post but I was outside the edit window. Feel free to merge

I have a "Big Shot" model butane torch that can really put out a decent flame. When I bring it to the top corner and let the flame splay out over two sides in a slightly upward angle the resulting flame coverage is pretty good.

It takes 47 seconds to reach around 165 before I pull the torch away .....actually probably closer to 167/168 since the numbers are climbing more rapidly (then it was initially) when it gets nearer to these temperatures.

The temp climbs to about 193 without any additional heat (not sure what extra time this takes) before I draw. I milk the double barrelled cylinder setup I use around 3x with the vapour getting less dense on the third chamber (taking in the vapour of both chambers in about 2 moderate sized draws....probably 7 draws total - definitely not "lung busters" but very satisfying without the urge to cough) since the time is now at 4:00 minutes and the temp has just hit 145 by the end of the draws that no longer produces vapour of any density.

I am sure that if I reheat to 200 that there is at least one milked (double) chambers worth left .....of course not as tasty, but still potent and the taste is still no where anywhere near as bad as combustion.

EDIT: I later came back and heated up to the highest I've ever got to..... 215 C and I actually filled the 2 chambers three times with the third double chamber again being lighter in density and then the vapour quitting completely at this time while the Supreme is still reading 196 C. So this basically pulls off that last usable vapour fraction from weed that has calming and highly sedative effects..... which is great to assist with getting to sleep; speaking of which..... g'nite!

I think that with the vapour quality and amazing performance through water that this is the vape that I would probably miss using the most if it ever broke or got lost......although the Apollo would be a very close second - at least with the way I have it set up; with a couple of easy mods.

But I also really don't always feel like having a torch going if among a larger group of friends (4 plus) since that is when people start screwing around more (especially in an energetic lifted state) and inevitably accidents are most prone to happen at this time.

So a battery operated portable that performs well is also essential. This being the case, if I had to pick my sole vape it would be a very hard decision. But if I had to pick two vapes to live with .....these two would be the easy choice.

The Mighty and the Underdog are also both phenomenal vapes too though and with my pre-ordered Grasshopper and Milaana arriving sometime this summer ......I think that my VAS will be settling down to VCS (Vape Contentment Syndrome). Although that Helios really sounds cool too!

:mmmm: D'Oh!!

Onset VAS happening again

Cheers!

It is hard to pull yourself away from this vape!

The vapour flavour, potency and speed of extraction is second to no other of my vapes in each of these categories.

I think that any vaperist aficionado who also likes to vape at home through a bubbler......really owes it to themselves to grab one of these vapes for their collection.

It's a fraction of the cost of a Mighty......but the vapour is so much better in taste and potency!

IMO This vape is what the bow down emoticon was made for

Awesome.. I've been wondering how high some of you've been taking the S3, and that's higher than I expected to hear.. I've been looking at the AVB and thinking there's got to be more left, but I'm so ripped I just put it in the AVB jar and figure I'll just find out later on :D I'm gonna try now though..

EDIT: I just accidentally went up to 220c and got dark coffee ground AVB.. The temp seemed to rapidly increase after the 205c mark. I wouldn't go higher than 220C I'm glad I know my limits now

EDIT2: I stopped heating at 205c and it got to 115c.. I popped in a cold bowl w/ really good results.. I usually heat w/ the bowl in and stop heating at 170-180c.. I'm really baked now

@GTAVaper I think you might have one of my favorite UD's, but I can't remember if it's yours for sure.. Do you have an Alanthius piece from last year? Wide fancy lip? curves and stuff? Maybe a super tiny bit of bark on it?

:bowdown:Loving all the Supreme love! It has very much been responsible for my VCS!!! I haven't purchased a vape in eons and i'm a self confessed VAS addict (now in remission). I picked up the propane torch as @lazylathe recommended and it's awesome! Very cost effective alternative to butane torches and refilling constantly.

I still never grind....I just love breaking bits of buds in pieces and loading a few in the tube. I'm also like lazylathe now not using the rubber grommets anymore and simply sticking the bowl with the 14mm silicone and using that directly (I had no idea it even fit before lol) so my technique is so much easier now.

I don't like the first heatup of the Supreme though as perhaps my torch heats it up too fast, but I notice huge temperature dropoffs until the second heat up. If I insert in a cold tube after heating up, wow does it ever plummet rapidly! I have had it go from 180 to the 160's in almost no time. But then other times, I assume after consecutive heatups, I can have it retain and remain at 180 for what seems like forever. Just a technique I have yet to master.... and another fantastic reason for an electric supreme!

@GTAVaper - My VCS has also been initiated.....for me it's the Supreme v.3 + The Mighty + (to a lesser extent the Crafty).... Home vaping, around the house and throw and go out and about, and stealthy applications....all my own personal bases are covered (for now)!

But still overall, I have never experienced cleaner tastier and dense vapour like the Supreme! And you don't even need to grind!

I agree @Buildozer - Hail to the Supreme baby!

Funny, since getting the S3, it's been responsible for my SHS (slacking hard syndrome) I don't know if I've ever slacked off so hard before  Fuckin Thor hammer over here.. I gotta learn how to respect this thing! ;) All those shatter bowls were probably to blame.. I'm just a victim :D

This mod is sheer brilliance, thank god I had a reducer lying around. Thank you!

Anyways... I hate how the bowl likes to get stuck in the joint when I'm trying to clear a rip, so this is how I have my bowl setup.. I'm using both the 14mm and the 18mm bushings together on a 14mm joint.. The seal is made w/ the 18mm gasket on the top of the glass joint, rather than inside.. the 14mm bushing is really only there just to make it effortless to keep things centered.

Now that I don't use the grommets anymore, i'm just curious - do you guys push the tube in until it "clicks" or all the way?

How are you guys doing shatter? What temps?

I push it in all the way...:brow:LMAO!!
I go until the pin hits the heat exchanger base.

As for concentrates, it depends on how you are going to use them.
My favorite is to roll a small ball of shatter and sandwich it between herb! Super delicious and cloudy!
Slightly higher temps needed here, maybe 10 to 15 C.

Or between some cotton and heat up to 200+ for some serious action!
It's almost like taking a dab if you hit the temp spot on!
I was coughing my guts out the other night from a massive hit!
Way better flavor than a dab for me though!

I just realized I never stop at the click. Never have and probably never will.

I always load the Supreme with 4 or 5 chunks of flower. I heat twice per load to my max temp of 170-175c and let it creep up to 185-190c. I will get 5 or 6 hits each heating by the time it is down to 140c and then the vapor is too wispy for me. Sometimes I stay with one strain fornthe load, sometimes each chunk is a different strain. All depends on how wild my wild hair is...

For shatter or wax or distillate or rosin I always follow this same method making sure I leave about 3/16" empty at the back of the tube. I stand the tube up vertically on a table and I melt my concentrate off the dab tool onto the top of the flower. I used to put some flower on top to make a sandwich but now I dont since I never turn it upside down anyway. I also go about 10-15c higher in temp and I reheat 3 times.

Just my more recent method but this thing works so many ways its hard not to switch it up everynow and then. Like the other night, I just randomly decided to try a random glass mouthpiece I had laying around on the Supreme and hit it dry. I have hit the Supreme out of my j-hook for about a dozen sessions total maybe so I am not used to dry. It was completely satisfying of course!

I used to always go past the click and right up to the grommet, but now without the grommet I was wonder if I was even supposed to, but I guess overall it doesn't make a massive difference.

@lazylathe, without the grommet, and inserting all the way, how in the world do you get the hot tube out? lol

Tried a coarse grind last night....OMG.....forgot about how white those glass walls could get!!

I use a pair of tweezers for hot tube removal. I have also been known to place a small piece of Herbalizer tubing on the end of the tube for a slightly cooler gripping spot for a quick removal.

This vape is a beast with any type of grind, chunks of nugs and even concentrates!
My VAS has been mostly cured by the S3!

Tubing great idea bro! I'll give that a shot...i've been just using my t-shirt to remove lol!

Isn't it amazing how after all the thousands of dollars spent over the years on all sorts of innovative products that we have settled for such an inexpensive, straight forward vape with fire added to heat? No fancy electronics or shut off timers, batteries, etc. or fancy hype....... and it's a VAS killer! Crazy!

Hi there, what do you think about an analog enail as a heater? If the coil had a different design and would fit on the block, could it heat up the sup?
http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/voltage-regulator-for-smoking/237598158.html

Problem is you are not hearing a solid block as you would if hearing a nail. I have tried two PTC heaters strapped to the side but it was not hot enough. If you could hear the exchanger from inside out then we would have a winner!

The heat exchanger design is brilliant but it does require considerable heat to get it going. I am sure there is a way but easy it is not!

I must be on the other end of this because I think the enail heater would possibly work. How hot does a PTC heater get? I used a pair of hair straighteners and got it up to 295 with the straighteners set to 410. I think it can be done, it's just you need high enough heat. Here is the post from when I tried heating with my hair straightener. Supreme Vaporizer

An electric heat station is all we need really. Anybody have a vapman with a heating station?
