No word , no backup (ordered may 8), I guess I'll go to website, I'm a bit bummed. I don't have a 18F to glue in, or I'd be in no need of help. Where can I get that exact 18f

Hello friends!
Check it out!
Here's a snap on/off safety 'boot' design I'm working on which will allow the battery to be left in without concern for accidental button press.

The hooks are set up for a hair tie to add extra retention if needed.

This looks neat but I still think I feel more comfortable with splitting the connection than relying on the button not getting pressed in. Unless your putting a steel cage around the thing FC members can and will break it...I really love your CAD work and creativity though man:tup:

I want a beer coozie type design. That has a hole for the button and long enough to cover the edges of the top end. To help with falls. Maybe it should have slits or openings in it also. They should come in multiple colors too. The mi should slide down in snug. But not too snug. This is my dreams I dream of at night.

My Milaana is sitting at the USPS sorting facility in my town. If I could I'd drive down there and look through every box till I found it!

Edit: USPS delivered early for the first time in my life I'm pretty sure. I'm so excited!!!

That's how I feel with all my vape purchases! I hate when it's just sitting at usps...I also hate driving past USPS trucks who I KNOW are holding my vape. I'll literally just follow them...

This is the kind of thing I want. If I had one of those, then I wouldn't be tracking my Milaana on its way back to being fixed right now. I might need to look into making something when it comes back.

Not sure about the exact one, but I'm sure a 18f us joint would be the ticket? You might have luck with Google and china...I would go with briscolate(?) Glass And when you get the backup send the original in. Or if you do the RMA via the website...will be more time, but less work.

Long stem came with no screen inserted and after trying myself I think I know why. The diameter of the screen is significantly larger than the inside of the stem. Am I missing something?

Edit: Got it, gotta start from the top and push it down. Would've been super helpful if the wooden poker included was at least the length of the long stem.

Also in case anyone was wondering if the Xpresspost USA shipping from PlanetVape is worth it or not it absolutely is. Less than $20 US and i got it 2 days after shipping.

The diameter of the glass can vary, no long stems have come with screens inserted that I know of. Just work on it carefully, I have different old larger screens and they must be forced in, some newer ones as well, especially if using basket style. Just need a good ramrod and safe environment (gloves have been advised but I throw caution to the wind)

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Played around a bit last night, not bad result. Still, the 18mm bowl will always bigger than I'd like my minimum possible load (magic with bigger loads) as the size is the size and like mentioned before, still need to cover the screen minimum.

Try to get some Arizer domed screens... Very nice for small packs. I'm repeating myself.. Just a few pages back I posted some links.
Of course, the stem dias vary a bit.. E.g. in the long stem the Arizer sized domed screens fit perfectly - but not even held in a black one I ordered from mountain glass.. Worth a try for sure. I only microdose.

Peace

Wow man the unit looks great! That packaging sure is sleek too compared to what I got. I wonder if upcoming RBT orders are going to look like that or if they're going to be something else.

On another note, my HE4's are working great of course .. But I feel like there something out there with more :whoa::freak: oomph, yaknow? Maybe newer models will have a lil more oomph.
I wish these units were temperature adjustable so the user could choose how hot he/she wanted the max temp. Ugh...what if you could tune it like a car. Give it a huge power spike on low end but a poor top end for those quick lower temp flavor junkies, or a smooth roll all the way to combustion for those slow-to-toke full active spectrum users.
Man ... The possibilities with a chip and an app with thousands of points creating a graph, and you can click and drag segments to create the temperature signature you want. Man, a line graph sounds fuckin awesome as a temperature profile.

I love it! Make that thing multifunctional with a stir stick holder and a way to hold a stash box or something.

Sounds like you may want to get yourself a Grasshopper.

Also first stem down and I'm liking it. Not blown away yet but I imagine it will take a little time to get the right draw speed and what not down.

Edit:

I've decided to name my Milaana Melania ;)

Different batteries do have different drain/ charge and stuff. I'm no expert but if you go on battery bros you can compare those HE4s to others, I have the brown lg not yellow, think it's he4 then I bought 2 Sony VTC4 battery's because they have a higher drain. And they do work better for higher temps, especially at first. Since it is unregulated the battery drain and milliwat matters a lot. Like I think the vtc4 are 30amp drain, or whatever you call it. And 2500 milliwat or whatever. That's higher than the HE4s. I like using my HE4 dry because I go for lower temps dry.
Go to batterybro.com for all the info explained a lot better lol. It's not as good as temperature control but it's a start ;)

On old reliable AA, going straight short stem (feels Mia - ish). Thank God i mastered this vape to the max, it cranking very nicely. Mighty still filling in, but AA satisfies on many levels, and a bit closer to Mia - glass stems.

I use an unsharpend pencil. Works great.

That would be the Zion. :)

Well I haven't had any shipping notification as of yet :(
.........and my Grasshopper also has a shipping date of June

So I guess the race is on now :D

Can the Milaana make it to me first? ......after supposedly shipping by June the 6th at the latest?
Or, will the Hopper somehow miraculously appear?

I'm betting on the Milaana getting here first
......even if it ends up making a round trip through German customs

The one thing that was a little irritating was seeing the Milaana available at Planet Vape (a 45 minute drive for me) .....probably about 2 weeks or more before I will see my unit ......I really thought that the delivery of all of the pre-orders would have been looked after before the vapes started appearing at headshops and online retailers

I went and got a VTC4 from a local shop (only store in town that had any name brand 18650s) and can't tell a huge difference. Both the brown LG that came with it and the VTC4 seem plenty powerful. Getting better hits every time I use it.
right on, i notice i difference when i use a water pipe. like my method is to prime for 3-5 seconds without the stem in and with the vtc4s i can just rip it after that, with the lgs it came with i gotta draw slower. just my experience. the vtc4s seem like good batteries.

So, looks like i get to thank Australia Fucking post for being late to this party.

Yep. It arrived at the post office on the 17th...over 2 weeks ago.

Would have been nice if they told me. So 'Fuck you' Australia post (hint hint for full rant...)

Anyway, Milaana looks great. Works great... More later.

Can I like this post twice? Happy for you bro! Hope you get your technique down nice and quick and start melting faces ASAP :whoa:

Still not blown away with flower (yet) but it definitely works great. Tried some concentrate wrapped in cotton and got some absolutely awesome convection dabs. Might be selling my Crafty since it doesn't have replaceable batteries. The glass stems sure do make this one a lot less portable though. Gotta be real careful with where you put the stem when transporting.
