Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I am looking for a vape pen for oils but not understanding a lot of things with these type of pens. I see that there are companies with pens that need replacement cartridges. Then this pen you can add your oils. My concern is availability for oils. Would I have to buy just concentrates from my dispensary ? How does one get the oil into the pen ? Any videos showing this is helpful.

For anyone that got one of the Nibbler AC's with the clogging issue try putting one drop of RezBlock in it. It will foam up pretty bad on the first toke but settles down nicely thereafter. No more clogging. I like the small profile of this version, the upgrade is bigger, so it's worth it to me to use the pink stuff to keep the clogs away. Makes cleaning a breeze as well.

I fixed mine by breaking it. :rip:

Hmmm. Maybe I will hold off on buying one of them for now. Hoping they will make one with a flat plate heater and air holes up on the sides instead of the bottom where it is sure to leak.

Sorry to hear this, maybe I can help. May I ask what your usage technique is like? What are you loading inside and how much? (Enough for how many pulses before needing a reload?) What is your cool down technique like?

Are you seeing leakage on the outside of the heater, on the "nut", or are you seeing leakage down the center tube, inside the Alpha Centauri base?

I am loading shatter. I take about 10 hits then reload. sometimes I will only take 5 and be fine and not reload.

I really hate that there has to a technique, I just want to load and go and not worry about leaks.

it seems like it is leaking through where you place the wire. its where you screw on the nut is where it is leaking.

I would suggest loading smaller amounts and cooling down the coil more after your hits by drawing air through it passively (no button pressed). The Alpha Centauri coils are designed around maximizing flavor and vapor production, not maximizing load capacity with no leakage, and must be used with a technique that keeps air flow in consideration otherwise leakage can occur.

Update on RezBlock in the Nibbler AC.......it works as intended. CHANGE OUT THE WATER DAILY! 3 DAYS IN THE DARK WILL GROW FUNGUS! I have a spare AC base that I use with a rubber band around it to plug the base of the Nibbler and a silicone cap for the mouthpiece before it goes in it's case. Don't have to fill it every time that way. Pulled the base out to find fuzzy mold on the inside edges. Guess that is to be expected leaving cranberry juice in the warm.

Sounds like loading a bit too much. I only get 5 or 6 good tokes with the ti dual coil out of a piece a little smaller than the ceramic rods when using the Nibbler. A few more without but more harsh and I tend to push it as far as I can without bad taste. Shatter shouldn't leak bad if you do good cooldown draws after your dosage. Overloading will make a mess with anything ya put in it I think. It's a pain in the ass but if you want great taste and little mess then you load small and follow the technique. If you want a few tokes ready to go in your pocket be prepared for a mess and a burnt taste at the end of a load.

@SamuraiSam .......Noticed today while cleaning the AC v2 that the stainless mouthpiece is actually made of plastic with a metal cover. What kind of plastic? How are the two pieces held together? With all of the trouble that went into making the metal top as nice as it is, why put plastic right in the hot vapor path?

@slozukimc the AC V2 'drip tip' or mouthpiece is a stainless steel with a PTFE inner core. The PTFE is molded to the metal - 2 ingredients, PTFE and stainless steel. We use PTFE as the material for the body of our mouthpieces due to its excellent characteristics when subject to high heat. It makes up the mouthpiece of our Gen 3 Kiss cart, the inside of the AC V2 mouthpiece, and the heat shield and mouthpiece of the Hercules. Notice how the O rings sit in a PTFE body and the PTFE is what slides inside of the metal core. This results in far less heat transfer than if the entire tip were made of metal.

We made the mouthpiece a standardized size so that you can easily exchange it for a different mouthpiece if your preferences do not align with ours. Perhaps you could find a solid steel replacement more suited to your preferences?

Glass has been a popular choice shared in this thread over the last 5 or so pages and it wouldn't have the exact same thermal issues as steel. But it's not going to be as durable... Since the Omicron already comes with one breakable glass mouthpiece, I think it's best that the discreet/durable Centauri cover be as durable as comfortably possible. Just my :2c:

Thanks Sam. That clears that up quite nicely. Makes perfect sense now.

Got my V4 earlier in the mail today!
I thought i wasn't gonna like the battery at first and most likely sell it and keep my 30w eleaf. But now I think it's the other way around lol

This 900mah battery so fucken small! Has a nice weight to it too. Together with the alpha centauri, it's 4.5 inches in length. Is 3/4ths an inch in diameter.
Also, the stealth cover on the AC also looks kick ass, not to mention how much grip and security those 3 o rings offer. Learned you have to twist the glass/steel onto it and not press it down.

Along with the double coil atomizer that came with the V4, i got a single coil and a dual quartz coil.
I find that i still love the single coil the best. I like taking small puffs here and there sometimes instead of just taking a huge rip.
When i tried the double coil atty it seemed to be more a one or two big hit wonder. Great taste, just like the single.
The dual quartz atty is so fucken tasty, but vaporizes the concentrate quick. Probably the closest thing to taking a dab i've tried on a pen.
Saying that, both the quartz and black ceramic have their own class of taste and feel; considering how fast the oil burns on the quartz and how the black ceramic acts as a wick.

Overall very fucken satisfied. And very fucken high  hahahaha

Gonna have to buy more live resin cookies and cream now.

So you would say the single coil is more conservative with your oils?

So you would say the single coil is more conservative with your oils?

From most conservative:
1. Single Coil
2. Double Coil
3. Dual Quartz

For biggest hits:
1. Dual Quartz
2. Double Coil
3. Singe Coil

For Taste:
All tied, except the dual quartz vapes the concentrate so quick, if you hold the power down too long you might get a hot coil taste. Which isn't too prominent, but it isn't your concentrate. This is the same for the double coil but you'll get an extra hit or two before you experience this.

All the chambers are roomy too. You could drop a nice sized globe if you wished, but it might cause leaking which some people experience. I've never experienced leaking with W9tech products though, even when i do load the atomizers fat. Personally, i like using enough wax to cover the area of a single rod.

On another note, the yellow 10w battery setting is my preference. It does the job perfectly! Don't really find a need to use more than 10w to power the coils.

Perhaps you guys at W9Tech could've added a lower setting instead of higher on the V4.
But then again, aren't you guys gonna be releasing a box mod soon?

Maybe I am crazy but it seems like the lower temp(yellow) is more sedative while the higher temp(pink and up) seem less tasty but more motivational. Anyone else see the same?

So I scored a CannaCase to stash my Omicron and Nibbler in for when I am on the road and don't want to break my shit

The case is called the woodward and cost 17.00 it had a very user friendly insert that can be easy shaped to fit your needs. They have a pretty sweet Nintendo concentrate container that fits perfectly in the mix to hold 2 decent size slabs of whatever is needed.

In my on the go dab kit I have the following:
1: full size Omicron V4 pen
1: Nibbler attachemtnet
1: AC 2 base (For nibbler)
1: 3.7V donut cart
1: 7.4V donut cart
1: dual coil cart
1: Nintendo dab slab container

Pretty sweet to have all that in a solid case for 17.00!!!

Here are some pics

This is the case closed. it is a semi hard shell and has a nice solid feel to it

here is the case opened with all my fixings in place

Everything out of the case for reference
