You shouldn't need to purge it all the way if your problems have just started. Hold your lighter upside down for 30 seconds or so while giving it a shake. This should make most of the air come to the valve. Purge until butane starts bubbling out (air should flow through first) and go through the rest of the tank - or until it starts failing again. Then, do a good purge before refilling. I just take it outside and hold the button (like while using) with no flame and almost all air and butane will sputter out. Shake it, hold it upside down and purge with a wooden match. Shake and purge the same way a couple more times until absolutely nothing comes out. Refill and you should be good to go!

One other thing with butane jets... It takes a couple minutes for everything to warm up and stabilize after filling. Put it in your pocket for two minutes to speed the process and you should be good to go. If lighter is cold (like a cold car or next to AC vent) it will take a few lights to get to normal. And, be careful the first couple lights if it is warm (like left in a hot car). It will fire much higher than normal. For safety sake, I try not to leave them in the car when it is going to get very hot. Have forgotten and had no issues, and have never heard of one going boom - but a full butane jet would create quite a blast so IMO better to err on the side of safety.

Here is a whole thread about butane lighters with plenty more tips and tricks (think they may be another, too). They're really not too bad once you get used to them, but always a good idea to know what you're dealing with and how to make it work best for you.

Yeah this thing has got to be the best conduction vape hands down.

Thought I'd pre pack a nug for the in-laws bbQ, and after one apple ale and 3 heat cycles I found my self dozing off on their porch swing. Oops, must have been this nice warm weather we're getting...

Also had 'er out on the paddle boat today with the girlfriend, by far the best experience with it so far. So relaxing.

The new site looks a whole lot better! The only thing that concerns me is that I have 3 orders placed but only the first one shows up in the system. Hoping that George has all 3 of my orders on file because I couldn't help just adding stuff to my original order haha (which seems to be common practice around here).

It means two metal crowns, one at each end. It's for those that want the extra protection and plan to add an additional mouthpiece.

Really? I don't find the VC all that efficient, but it's great at what it does. I'd rate my UD as the best vape I've used for micro-dosing.

Comparing it to an UD, I can say you get a bigger vapor hit from one hit in the UD than one in the Vapcap. The Vapcap is conduction though, and the UD convection. I like how fast and small the Vapcap is, and it is efficient as well.

I think it really just depends on how you heat it.

Hello mates, after my first weekend of vaping with my brand new ti woody I m quite worried...
I must say that I use pretty much only solid european hashish.
I find myself coughing a lot, with some heaviness on lungs on harder hits
When smoking a joint I was used to put a very little amount of hash mixed with tobacco but now the same quantity in the vape doesn t get me "same way" high, so I m forced to use more.
I find satisfying the second and third cycle but after that its just light vapor without any kick.
I tried every combination I could think of...plain hash(crumbled or not), tobacco and hash, plain marijuana, tea and hash,etc.
I tried heating beyond vapcap click a little bit or heating in different spot on the tip but it doesn t improve my experience.

How many satisfying cycles do you guys do with one load?
Do you cough?

I just wanna make it work because its such a good idea that it would be a real shame to give up!

The tobacco high is difficult to get away from. Try and avoid spliffs for a few weeks. When you hit the vapcap with hash, you are hitting a concentrate with lesser chlorophyll:THC (plant mattersychoactive ingredient ratio), and as such you won't get as many thick clouds in my experience. It should still wreck you if the product is good, however. I would strongly, strongly suggest trying to "swallow" each hash VapCap hit that you take and hold it in as long as possible. Vapor isn't as harsh as smoke and some of it isn't even visible! But it can actually be absorbed by your lungs, so holding in the hits is crucial if you aren't feeling effects. If you are missing the nicotine buzz, grab a few espresso shots and hit the vapcap with them! Might not be the same at first, but "hippie speedballs" (weed and coffee) can be amazing and productive times to have. Don't mean to be preachy, plenty of friends smoke cigarettes, and I used to, but the lung cancer concerns led to me finally throwing those shitty marlboro golds away. Once I did, the joints and weed cigars/blunts did soon after. I find the ability to smell like soap and happiness in public to be an addiction far more compelling than nicotine. Also I'm wrecked. So this is your first step in the vaporizing game? No other vapes experienced yet? Then you don't have to worry, most of us found the transition phase a little bit underwhelming at first contact. The tobacco plays a bigger role then you think when you are used to fill up your joints with it. To get a better feeling for the vape experience you could take a little tolerance break and quit the hash for a whole week. After that you should feel a vape of half the stuff you used to smoke. Then wait ten minutes to let the high creep up.

If that's old news for you let's focus on the usage of the hash. When it is very solid you need to crumble it real fine. If it is kneadable while warm you can form a flat stripe and lay it in the bowl like this. This way it has a great all arould surface contact where the tip is heated and airstream surface on the other side. Better hash can also bubble up with enough room in the chamber.



I get constant good results with this technique and even a cheap hash gives me double the clouds normal herb at the same weight does.

Where do you heat your cap? heating the cap in the "V" area of the dynavap logo should get it hot enough.

had my first couple sessions today! I would say its almost up there with the enano, and I am sure that once I use it a bit more, it will be.

I love the form factor and performance of this vape!

Still waiting on my refund check from taxes, but once I get it, I think I am going to get a burl ti shorty vong. Not because Id necessarily use it through glass, but the thicker diameter may be easier to hold for people like me with joint/nerve pain.

One thing that I can say, and has nothing to do with the vapcap itself, is that it is hard to see the lighter flame in daylight. I had to kind of memorize how high the flames would be and go off that. not too tough. The vapcap is definitely something that is super efficient and I can see myself using a lot of my concentrates out of it, As long as I figure out a way to keep it clean relatively easy.

I can say this little guy is going to be getting a bunch of use! I also ordered the ti mouthpiece but it wont fit in the doob tube with it on, thats why a want a shorty vong as well!

What is everyone using for a cleaning solution? I know in the manual it recommends against ISO

I bought this magnet to use with my vapcap but it seems to repel the cap instead of attract it, anyone have an explanation for this?
