Hey Everyone!

I typically receive SWAN brand 99% iso, but had to purchase from a different store recently and received Hydrox Laboratory brand instead-

Any experience with this brand?
Just want to make sure its not some watered down knockoff brand.

Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!

I've never heard of either, but the one I use is strictly ISO and 1% water. You want to make sure that it has no fragrance or ethyl or grain alcohol added as filler (some companies get away with this) The brand I use is Marianna, and is sold at most beauty supply stores.

In the image of the back you can see that it clearly indicates no filler or fragrance.
And is made here in the U.S., always a bonus.

I've found this to be the best ISO I can get my hands on anyways, and passed a mirror test very clean. It also evaporates much faster then your average 93% or less ISO.

Edit: I just noticed they have a website on the back of the bottle, that if you visit will tell you where the closest supplier to you would be, may be helpful.

I am a little concerned that they don't blatantly list the ingredients, they only repeat 99% ISO and never verify the other 1% being just water. Nor does it mention if other solvents (alcohols) are added as filler or not. Seems to be more of a data safety sheet then a chem composition. It never comes out with a verified ingredient list, and that I would find worrisome personally.

If your unsure, mirror test it, similar to butane, when it evaporates the glass should be spotless ( no dust even when scraped hard with a razor blade)
