Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
Sure is weird not seeing the Zion on his website anymore. Obviously he wants to hold off having people go through his website at all except for retail. Just interesting he doesn't have it there for advertisement, forwarding them to PlanetVape. Guess he doesn't want too many people ordering.

Yeah, not until he can satisfy the existing customers. Maybe once he can finally get back to work on them it will change, but I think he plans to focus on really churning em out with proper QC to fulfill all outstanding orders once and for all, at least that is what I gather

Edit:
and now just because I finally can do this--- never thought Zion would beat my Hopper based on order/discovery dates, then I had a second one and a Milaana before it too, among others (even my HI wait was less from when I signed up, and didn't have to pay for my place in line there ;) ah made to order...) and now everyone else has Milaanas even ahead if Zions too--- I share a shot of this elusive, yet pretty perfect, pair here. With portables like these, who needs desktops :brow::ko:

Hey, I'm very pleased to see that you finally got your Hoppers, bro

Hmmmm, I don't think that is strictly true. At least not for everyone.

I can certainly see where you're coming from @'Snacks, but from my particular perspective, it progressed well beyond 'needs', a long time ago.

I know you regularly mention how you only used your Cloud Evo as a Zion 'gap filler' while your beta was in for repairs - and you subsequently sold it because you found it superfluous to your requirements once you had your beloved Zions firmly back in hand. And while I do absolutely LOVE, worship & adore my Zions, I also feel that our viewpoints on this matter are at complete polar opposites. Because my Evo undoubtedly still rocks it extremely fucking hard in my vape rotation - and I honestly can't currently envisage any scenario in which I would ever want to give that up.

And then of course, there is the Sublimator. Which imo, is on a whole 'nother level completely - delivering an extremely full & undeniably sick amount of extraction at breakneck speed. I have personally never used another vape that I feel can perform in quite this same league, and I am blown away everytime I warm it up.

But thankfully, it's 'different strokes for different folks' - so for me at least, a portable battery powered device can not take the place of a dedicated desktop, mains operated unit :2c:

And neither my Zion nor my Grasshopper could sway me on that.

But hey, maybe that will all change once I get my Milaaana! Eh, eh?!

Or, perhaps not.

Either way, I am looking forward to finding out.

Now for a little personal indulgence, from one of my favorite, fairly recent, Zi p'shoots with the lovely Vyv . . .

My tolerance has quarupled from absurdly low up to merely low over the last couple months, and my Milaana is easily capable of rendering me virtualy comatose without much effort at all, so I don't think it would be wise for me to even attempt to use an Evo' or Sub'!!
Thanks to a lack of US joints on all my adapters (and even my long Mi stem) I've only been able to use my short stem so far, but even so, I'm still unsteady on my feet from yesterday!!

I'm laying off it today, between the Mi' and my VC ive been over-indulging in a big way :zombie:

It's going to be a lonely summer for my Inhalater!
Maybe I can lend it to a combuster to see if I can convert someone.

I'm surprised you're still waiting for your Milaana @VegNVape, for some reason I thought you already had one?

Are there other UK peeps still waiting for Milaana's?

And does anyone have any tips on cutting down joints using a dremel (I have plenty of cutting discs, but no diamond ones, anyone tried it with standard discs?)

Yes and nope you need diamond ones, and low speed and a mask. Dremel diamond discs can be found on amazon or ebay quite cheap. I did my rare cuts outside home

I'm still waiting on my refund request to be processed, but I'm beginning to think it's not going to happen. Might just take the loss and move on.
Not to bash on this vaporizer, just a thought in general.
If I was in charge of a business like this, or any other that takes money on pre orders, I don't think I could sleep until all of them were fulfilled.
How a person can endure that has always baffled me.
Sorry for your situation, I myself have bought vaporizers in pre orders and the deadlines kept being delayed, and I tell myself never again, but I always fall for it, I guess pre orders are for those that are a special kind of person with extremely amount of patience.

Edit: btw, I like a lot of things I see in this vaporizer, but I will never buy it until it is readily available, I just couldn't endure the long wait, I'm just not that kind of person.

With the Milaana in hand, the wait isn't bad at all. I've forgotten about it for the most part. Only once people bring it up and I'm like, oh yeah! I got one of those comin!

@srama21 I think you'll get the refund. If not, sue for that shit. Hahaha.

"Zion Update

Changes is the current design process to improve the magnet retention to the wood have been tested such as hole sizing, adhesive, part surface finish and cleanliness. The testing for magnet retention suggest that the strength of the magnetic force needs to be reduced in order to have long term reliability. Several possibilities are being investigated such as lower strength magnets and replacing one of the magnets with plated steel. This is being completed in parallel with the manufacturing fixtures to ensure proper finish machining of the wooden bodies. After evaluation of the electrical system it has been determined that a Printed Circuit Board is required to achieve the required assembly cost efficiency and reliability requirements. Initial units will continue to have hand soldered assemblies and the PCB will be a running change. We encourage all of our Zion pre-orders to remain patient as finding and implementing solutions to the issues suffered by our early customers takes time. In the meantime, we are offering any customer that have a Zion pre-order the option to order a Milaana at $129 (Use Zion PayPal Email to submit request to rbtvape.service@gmail.com)"

Not trying to be a dick but I don't want to spend more money on another device to wait on I just want an ETA (ESTIMATED time of arrival) I ordered in late September or early October. I'd like to know if I'll be receiving it before the fall.

On his website he estimates July. Not sure how likely that is, but there it is.

LOL please understand I am not hostile just anxious. My only Vape is the Extreme Q and I actually haven't used it in months and I started a T-Break yesterday(not sure how long I may go, maybe all the way to august when I get a new place so I can save money for growing materials. in Colorado btw.) I just can't wait for the day that I have that lithium ion cell powered masterpiece in my hands. I also look forward to testing it on a bong. Any idea if he will make his own adapters?
Any way of finding out what number zion we might receive? it'd be nice to be 44.

I just don't wanna buy a milaana just to store it for good when i get that Beautiful Zion.

Hey shit snacks, I noticed you had a cloud evo. what are your thoughts on it and what were your reasons for getting rid of it?

Yeah but Milaana does kinda rock too, obviously if you don't need the smaller size no reason but it has other perks and always nice to have a great back up imo

One of the new Milaana retailers may be able to offer proper adapters some day... don't know about number, probably not

I actually got it when I was without Zion for a few months in the fall into winter, then once I had Zion back (two beta bodies, both final production heaters, one tuned hot one tuned cold) it was totally superfluous for me. I've posted about it here and in that thread quite a few times I believe if you're interested in searching for more details ;) or can pm

It also says May and June 2015 orders will be shipping in May. His latest update makes that sound highly unlikely. I'm with @Nete88, will my August 2015 order ship before October (one year late based on the wording on the RBT website when I ordered) or not?

I also find the offer to buy a Milano (yes I know it's spelled differently) insulting. You haven't delivered the vape I ordered 9 months ago, why would I give you more money? Not impressed with the latest "update".
