I'd go on dx.com and pick up a few of their "Cheap jet 1300-C Butane Lighter" which is the torch that came with the Daisy, $2.54 each(around $2.25 each for 3 or more) with free shipping where they're $13 each on dhgate. I've been using the same one on nearly a daily basis since I got my daisy besides this torch my favorite is the torch from Vapman.

I need to clean my daisy but I'm not sure how to go about cleaning the mp glass stem or underneath. Usually I put glass in a bag covered in iso and warm it in hot water, it's so big though I feel like I'd have to use a whole bottle in the bag. Maybe seal one end and pour it in or something. Below it where the vapor comes in the wood is getting some resin I'll need to clean too. It's kind of far down and narrow so I'm not sure about using a q-tip with iso. I'll have to go back in the thread and see what other people are doing.

I just use a teaspoons or so worth of iso shaken well in the mp while I cover the ends with the palms of my hands followed by a hot water rinse and drying off with a paper towel or an old washcloth, comes clean as new for me.

Edit: I scrape the honey off the wood using a few different pokers and tools along with one of the SS brushes from Vaporgenie, I'm not a fan of using alcohol on wood myself.

So how many of these exist and are there different versions?

3 I believe, a friend took a photo of all 3 (he has the original square block, I have the later curved square version, and then another friend got a seemingly even newer version from the uk that was a bit more curved with smaller sized blocks overall yet the same wood mp, glass, and bowl) but he never posted it here... (@Yancy Fry Jr.?) Plus they each came in walnut or cherry, so technically there are 6 perhaps?

I just cleaned mine a bit as well, had done the glass recently already, but it was still a bit harsh for me regardless of new screens. I scraped around in there with my Zion and Air stir sticks to clean it all out, and also iso soaked the little metal tube. Since I now hit my Daisy empty every few bowls (still get big clouds btw! more time before changing screens) it dried out the "resin" so it was fairly easy and I just threw it in my avb jar, despite the occasional scorching the leftover plant matter and oils seemed to have been reasonably lower temp full extractions so good for baking. I also wouldn't say Daisy has seen heavy use yet, so nice to do this earlier than later I suppose. Taste improved and smoothness is returned for me now

Anyway speaking of smoothness and adding to the pwnt shot here, I know I also still owe a shot of Daisy with the HydraTree, but its still packed away. Instead I got some silicone tubing out to get Daisy connected to my inline honeycomb china bubbler, this tubing (from amazon) is wider than what I had used with my friends Daisy in the past (which was a gift from Tommy) so it had to be folded over several times to seal over the metal tube, it is not quite as good as it is stiffer though it works fine overall and fits right into a 14mm female joint. I can hold it like this (with the Daisy up against the glass chamber though) in my left hand using middle finger to tap carb while I torch with the right hand. Other configurations will work too, different tubing lengths etc:

I forgot about the frankensteins, you can really see how much smaller the latest Daisy is from his original version... My Daisy is the middle one on the top, still had the bubble wrap marks as that was when I unboxed it. Also their Lilys were slightly different than mine, newer versions, while mine was a newer version from the initial ones that were replaced, so there were 3 versions of that model too actually btw

They are actually more similar than they appear, just inserted at different levels (the owner of the third one likes to stick his all the way in, it might tip over otheriwse its so small!) though mine did have some slight uneveness and imperfections on the edges of the glass that you can't see here... Their shapes could be slightly different overall I suppose

@Shit Snacks ,Thanks for this picture. It inspired me to try my daisy with water last night and it was amazing!

Ah, I need to clean more often. Had one of those moments after I cleaned it where I realized just how much I'd been missing leaving it dirty. It was still so good I just got used to it as the new normal.

I've been using it a ton after the cleaning and I'm getting even more impressed with it as I mess with it more. My sweet spot is to chunk it up and fill to a little under that first line/ring leaving some space. With that I can completely extract in 1 or 2 magical hits. The more ground up and/or the more I put in past that line the harder it is for me to extract well. I end up doing 5~6 hits and while getting a lot of charring at the end stirring and trying to get some of the green still left in there. I'm impressed at how well it handles smaller amounts.

So, I got 2 screens with mine. I know 1 goes in the bottom of the bowl. Is the second a spare or does it go somewhere? Anyway HUGE hits with my big torch barely touching the flame tip to the glass. Using the little lighter it doesn't give as big of hits yet, Just need to find the right torch and setting but this thing is AWESOME!

I posted this in the lily thread, but it applies here too.

I got a free pre-roll recently so I unrolled it and vaped it in my lily. It was pretty mediocre so I threw in a bb of a little live resin I have left over on top of a medium bowl. I hadn't tried putting wax in the lily yet. The vapor took a second or 2 longer to show up, but it was the thickest vapor that's ever been in my bubbler I think. Just solid white for 2 hits and 2 hits was all I really needed to extract it all. Just a 3rd clean up hit and it was spent. No mess so far, but I've only done it 3 or so times. Maybe left a little more residue on the side of the bowl and I need to check under the screen to make sure it's not getting gross down there, but otherwise I'm loving throwing a little wax on top.

Anybody have any issues doing something like that? I figure the daisy will do it just as well as the lily.

I've tried a bit if bubble hash, dirty but works, I'm sure Daisy can do it even better!

Looks like Puffitup (according to their Instagram) may be reviving the Daisy design as the "Sticky Bricks Labs" vape? Exciting!

Yay Daisy revival (friends can finally buy their own), and I guess for all I know this new company bought the rights to the Triihouse design. I sure wish it was Triihouse who was making the money off of this, though.

I know Triihouse and PIU had some sort of problems at the end there -- I sure hope Triihouse isn't getting screwed

Design has changed to be a little more blocky like the original and they added a circular cutout at the center where the blocks come together. Everything else looks the same to me.

I also have to wonder if Triihouse gets anything out of this. I really think ingenuity like this should be compensated in a royalty format.

I feel I should retract the last statement here. We know Tommy and Brenna were really nice people, however we also know that as nice as they were and as many freebies as they would include they just were not good on the financial side of things. We were all left in the dark when Triihouse went out of business but those of us following at the time probably learned that they had a serious amount of debt with puffitup and skipped town without paying their bill.

I was thinking this too at first when I read your post and the one by Yoosh but then I remembered the above. Tommy left this design dead in the water for anyone to pick up. He should be remembered but not martyred for his concept and designs. I personally would love to see someone from FC bring this vaporizer back and possibly get back to the evolving new designs with a similar concept as we were all hoping to see from Tommy. What do you guys think? Should we bring the pitchforks out or should we embrace this person/manufacturer like a hero?

Trii is gone, if they were still around we would never consider doing this. Last I heard, Tommy is in LA working as a hair stylist and their wood workers left the industry. We reached out to their woodworkers and they had no desire to keep making the vapes.

The concept was awesome, we get emails every day asking when the daisy will be back. IMO this is a vape that needs to continue to be made and improved upon.
