I use my fingers to hold the nail at the top upper most part only it does not get to hot. I do not burn off my nails. I soak them in iso alcohol for a bit when I need them really clean and than dry and burn off anything left at max temp. It cleans easier after the alcohol soak and dry. For a quick clean I just burn off at max temp and no soak. You can also purchase tools to hold the elbs while hot , look up beaker holder , test tube holder or tongs on google and you should find something easy that you can use to hold them if you choose so. As for elbs I just shake them up when really dirty in Iso and if not I just use a brush to brush them out. They do brush out better when warm so heating them up a drop cant hurt at all. Max temp burn offs on the elbs is not needed though. I never burn off my nails but if I did , for my other glass I use a set of test tube holders I got from forum member @DDave that came with his mod kits , not sure if he sells them separately or not.
I got to admit those Subs look pretty sweet but def cost a little more than I'd like to spend, Plus there are so many freaken attachments for it , it all confuses me lol. I wouldn't mind having 1 myself.

You can flip them upside down and put in a piece of glass, like some hydra feet for example.
I just dip a q tip in some iso , I buy the long 1's and clean the bamboo that way , iso wont harm it. I think some may even fill the entire bamboo with iso and shake I have heard. I personally have never had to do that myself but I believe it can be done. You def wont harm anything with some qtips and iso though.

With the smaller mouth-pieces I liked vaporizing with glass the most!
The EVO and a hydro-tube are reasonable.
The FLAVOR is very good.
EFFECT is WOW.
