VONG == Vapcap on Glass

edit: George knows wood on glass is WonG, the VonG name is his wordplay. Wooden VonG, metal VonG, glass VonG, silicone VonG, they're all likely to stay VonG, because that's his product name for his water tool adapters of all materials ;)

Yeah i mean thats obvious I got that :p but say you go into Eds thread all the vape on glass adapters (non-VC) he makes are referred to as wongs... whether they're for log vapes, the solo etc. pretty much throughout FC too. Just wondering thats all :)

Oh boy, Oh boy, oh boy!!!!

I contacted George about those VonGs he posted and I am pleased and humbled to announce that I am about to adopt one of those pretty babies. I got a 14mm VonG body in BURL!!!! Thanks George!!! I promise to take good care of her.

I am just about beside myself. I have a good sized order of Vapcaps, Ti and Woody and accessories coming and George let me know that my order will likely be on its way to me in the next couple of weeks!!! It has been a fair wait for me because,,,, I kept adding to my order and then,,,, also ordered a custom Ti; Remember the Copper Stoned? I'm getting one of these :):):):):)

"This one takes it up a notch. Maybe we shall call it Copper Stoned. :)"

I could just look at these all day long. Dynavap is, I think, the most functional, tiny, aesthetically beautiful line of vaporizers on the market.

WAY TO GO GEORGE!! You just classed a bunch of stoners up a notch! LOL!

There is going to be a lot of test driving going on in the next few weeks. Be warned, my spelling may suddenly take a turn for the worse.

Anyone know how to put back the ceramic screen and clips back into the OG? Is the screen supposed to be sandwiched between the clips before I push it back in?

Put in one clip until it clicks into place in the groove. It can be a bit tricky. Put in ceramic screen on top of that. Put in 2nd clip until it's flush with the screen. Your screen should be held in place until you poke it from the non-bowl end like you did to get them out in the first place.

Yes sir, it is. I love the striping on it and for some weird reason I've really been enjoying saying wenge.

Also the vapcap s is great. That mp really adds that last little bit to make it perfect for me. One cool bonus with the ss rod is the vapor forms up outside and fills the glass, then when you let go of the carb it all get's sucked in. I really enjoy watching that. I mean the same things happens with the glass, but the visual is totally different. I might try to video it and make a gif of it.

George & gang..how's it going?

I just wanted to show You a rebuild and some some adjustments I made to my OG vapcap after I cracked it last weekend......wasn t nice when it happened:uhoh: so I rummaged through my bits box to get my VC going again.

I found some glass tube that was a good fit for the vapcap...now the adjustments which were fun.

Air intake adjustment: I moved the air intake so it sits under the digger outer.
Air adjustment is made by twisting the cap left or right moving the digger outer over the hole intake to open<< or >>choke air to the device.Ive been setting air before heating the VC and then leaving it for the session.the digger outer will completely close the air intake if needed.

Drip tip : I added a drip tip.love the things,beauty is,only one seal is needed now between the condenser and outer glass.The condenser is kept straight because part of it sits inside the drip tip.The drip tip helps to cool Vapor too.
I cut air intakes to the top of the glass bowl to aid air inflow.4 of them.

I have my air barely open right now but I think I need maybe to allow a little more in to thin the clouds this thing produces.

Great product George :tup:.so small and powerful.

still waiting for my turn to come. It's all delayed due to the indie no go disaster..
Has anyone got info, if a xl dynastash is soon to be ready? I might consider waiting even longer for that one - although it's been more than 2 months I'm in the queue...

Seriously, that's what I'm going to do.

I believe that an XL Dynastash is being considered (I asked re' this too).

It's creation may be dependent on the interest shown for the product, so it might be worth sending George a short PM stating your interest in an XL Dynastash/ER, that's what I did.

I imagine that George still has a ton of stuff to do before he gets to this, but in the meantime I can use my regular length Dynastash and VapCap.

Personally, I'm hoping some of that burl-wood that George teased will become XL 'StashERs :bowdown:

Last night I went down to .020 grams on the dot in my vap cap and it still vaped it completely. I got one flavorful pull, one mild flavorful pull, then next heat cycle one pull with a lot of visual vapor and one with about 1/3 the previous, then 1 more heating and a few more wispy pulls. I did heat a little past what I would normally heat to (kept heating for 2 seconds after the click). Came out a nice chocolate color.

I will give .015 grams a shot next, or around that much, but it isn't much material. I'm not sure that it would vape so little evenly without a light stir but it has surprised me thus far.

Has anyone reduced the cavity size in some way?

I am so happy to have a one hitter type deal that vapes! The dugout/bats were an old favorite of mine. It is bringing back some fond memories. :D

Are you using an OG or a Ti tip version? I rarely get that many hits out of my OG, but it's an older model. Maybe I need to bust out the OG and give it some love again.

OG tip. Usually with normal loads I will get 2 flavorful draws with little vapor on the first heating cycle, then one fairly large one with some flavor left, then a medium one with little flavor, and then on the third and final cycle I get a couple of whispy pulls with no tasty stuff left. I'm not sure what routine I will settle on, possibly two heating cycles and then dump. I don't usually vape until there is no vapor left, I just want to see what I can squeeze out of real small loads.

I am still trying to figure out a good routine for as much good flavor as possible. I go no more than when it clicks for the most part, and that seems to conserve flavor. I have also been trying to get close to the click but not actually get it and that got me 2 heating sessions with fresh flavor. Lighter vapor for sure, but more pleasant tasting.

I think how many cycles you heat for is largely dependent on your lighter and technique. I have an OG, and I use a cheap single flame torch lighter I got from eBay, which extracts to a nice dark brown, bordering on black, which is what I try to go for. I also don't take multiple hits, I try to 'clear' the cycle in one inhale, feathering the air inlet for a couple seconds before leaving it open until I hear the cool down clicks.
Ordered one of the Burlys and an XL mouthpiece kit, can't wait to get those, I'm sure the wood will be beautiful :love:

What material is the vong made from? My vas is cured since I got my milaana with the exception of these products. I ordered in March but keep adding to my order so it's taken forever to get my shipment. I love the way yours looks. And I love the copper one (I think George only made 1). But I can't keep adding or I will never get my order.

Lol I'm in the same spot and I hope I am done? My order started with a TI Woody, then an XL condeser Mp kit. Then I switched to a short Blackwood body and Burl Mp instead. Then I added an OG. Then The indienogo DynastashER that I reordered and am waiting to be compensated for. Fucking IGG.. And now I've added a 14mm VonG body. With these choices I can use any of the body's with a moutpiece and they all fit in the DynastashER :) I may need to get just the xl condenser, no mp or just another mp kit to turn that OG into a VapCap s.. But I can worry about that later. I stated this on March 18th and I know I would have my Woody if I didn't keep adding stuff lol. I do want another Woody stem, preferrebly in a more custom wood. I was even thinking about getting Burl for the VonG but all more money and potentially more time and I really want this unit!! Even with milaana curing my vas the need for a VapCap in my life is strong. My girlfriend and me are having issues... I really really miss her OG VapCap lol ;)
Edit: And it's made from the wood of your choice, the Vongs that is. Blackwood and cocobolo are standard, Gotta ask about others.

Right on! I agree with the cocobolo.. I originally chose that. Then wanted to wait for Burl for my woody but honestly I have decided that no matter how many of these things I accumulate I NEED a Blackwood with a Burl MP, there are some pics posted my George of this on like page 110 maybe? That are literally the most beautiful vapcaps I've seen. That's my opinion but the pics also on his IG and that's what I have ordered :) really thought about switching to Burl recently even.. But I think I will be happy. Maybe a Burl or who knows what kind of crazy normal sized stem will be in my future cuz I'm only getting a short and a VonG. Think I may have left that open for the reason that I know awesome Woody stems are coming from Ed and George ;)

Still would like to know the material in the stormypinkness dynavap. Also I just realized that I don't have any short stems ordered and don't see them on the site. How do you get a short stem and are they glass or wood?
