Did you watch the video? It's not great but I think you can see what I mean there.

I think of the backend as two parts in my description: the lower part which threads into the body, and the upper part which is separated by the gap and consists of the dial and clicker, and which, at least on my unit, has a little bit of give back and forth which I think you can see in the video.

By "give side to side" I mean it moves a little when I push on it.
ahhh,... OK

i was trying to imagine how can screwed in backend can wiggle around in threads.

Just hopping in to say that I shared my Ti GH with four people session style. I turned on the GH took a draw and then passed it to the second person and everyone took a hit before turning it off. It didn't get too hot but I was grasping the mouthpiece to cool it down when I clicked it off. We had two bowls packed around 3/4 full and the GH kept up. It didn't overheat at all and it never got to hot to use either. Also, I never use the silicone mouthpiece so note we were all using it natively. All of my friends and my cousin asked me where they could get one. Sadly I had to tell them it's really hard to find them now, and pre orders are taking really long. One of my friends didn't believe the GH was a vaporizer at first and he told me "I'm not hitting that , that's a pen," and I had to show him by taking a draw that it was a pen lol. He said he couldn't believe how well it worked and how fast it hit.

Just want to reiterate if your Grasshopper is blinking blue before the battery is JUST about to die, there is an issue with your Grasshopper. It may not be a big enough issue to bother you or affect performance, but just so everyone knows it is NOT how a properly functioning Grasshopper is supposed to function. Mine did the exact same thing all of yours are doing before they shortened my body, now it's solid blue 100% of the time except on the hit just before the battery needs charging.
Hi Moe if its an issue with my hopper why is it only the blue light that flickers? And also only when i draw on my hopper? I think its just a power thing with the battery time will tell :)

Because as I've stated multiple times it isn't how a properly functioning Hopper acts. Lights should only blink right before the battery dies.

Stay charged, my friends
There is definitely a difference between the intended flashing of the led and the flickering. If the blue lights flicker in a draw, most likely it is tied to the power cycling of the heater and if your hopper still beats the air like normal, it should be considered a normally functioning unit. The phenomenon reminds me of my old cars in which the headlights would dim when another electrical accessory such as the stereo amp or AC was turned on.

i think that there is one cool thing to do in this thread while waiting for Hopper pre-orders. how about posting a pictures here of all the accessories and stuff that people have bought while waiting for a Hopper??? or have a Hopper already. i think that it would be awesome thing to see how each one of this community have prepared that Hopper's baby room.

me myself have bought. MFLB glass stem, an Arizer Solo bubbler stem, Xtar charger, Jyarz herb container, grinder for a course grinding, 2A wall USB adapter, a cigar tube to be used as a case. and still waiting for a measurement spoons for easy filling. so i cant post a full picture jet. :bang: but i will....

who knows. maybe there are a cool and handy stuff that others have prepared for hopping that others didn't think of. lets share ideas!

If you haven't yet, I suggest you check out @Ratchett's site to see all the great gh stuff he has created. I can personally vouch for the AWESOME leather case he designed for the gh.

If you need a spoon as a filling aid and don't want to get one of @Ratchett's tools, I suggest a salt spoon. I use one with all of my vapes. Very handy and easy.

I use an SKB iSeries waterproof cigar case. Holds my hopper, 2 batteries and a jar. Cost about 20 bucks I think.

@Nssl I have one someone posted on here and it was ten bucks. It's been holding up well. I can carry three or four batteries, a doob tube, and my two GH's. I usually only carry the one I'm going to use though. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00V...r+pen+case&dpPl=1&dpID=41qT5OZquaL&ref=plSrch

I shared the Gh with four people again yesterday through my bubbler and no one wanted to take a second rip after they took the first one lol. I had to take one for the team and clear the bowl lol. I am very amazed at how well my GH keeps on working, I really hope I never have issues with this Ti GH.

Here's my current kit. Nothing fancy.

Here's the case. It's a good fit, and the price is right, but I don't like that it has the big logo on it. I just put a piece of black duck tape over it.

The tubes are from empty pre-rolled cone papers at my local shop. One for herb, and the other contains a pick tool and a small brush. The pick tool came with Focus vape, and the brush is just a generic paint brush cut down to size. The shammy cloth is from an eyeglass kit.

I use a Nitecore D4 to charge at home, and have never used the USB charger other than to check that it worked.

Ima noob here. I feel like the kid in class that's been paying attention but too nervous to raise their hand...I'm raising my hand.

I want to jump on board with the GH but am wondering if anyone out there can actually vouch for its worthiness based on the ungodly neverlandish wait times. I have a Pax 2 and vapcap and am actually stoked but the quickness of being able to hit and run and at the same time have quality hits sounds pretty sweet with the GH. I'm sure these have been answered but dont have time to read it all..

Are the hits really that thick and potent?
Can you really use just a small amount efficiently?
can it get you elevated quicker than most vapes?
Does it smell like say the pax when hot?
Is it easy to load unload?
Cleaning easy?

Just seems crazy to have to wait so long but if it's worth it its worth it..

Thanks for any info here this place is very awesome and has single handedly busted combustion for me...15 years comin.

So I've had my hopper back for about a week and a half. It's back to working order!

I really do quite like this vape as a Session vape or at least as close to it that the Hopper can provide. Just steadily move from the lower temps up to the higher over about 10 minutes or so is dandy. Certainly controls the amount of vapour hitting the throat as well. I've only come to notice recently due to having used it almost all the time with a water piece for a while.
Had some fun on my bike recently, just have it in my pocket/bag ready to go. So much easier to carry than my Arizer solo.

Basically I love my hopper now that it's back!

Wow! That long of a wait! I guess I'll wait until I see shipping now or shipping in a few days before I order one of these bad boys.

Don't wait until you see it or for them to post it on their website, wait until it is reported over and over and over again that it has happened to real people to make sure.

The grasshopper is definitely worth the wait, I have a pax2 also, very different vaping experience, I'm glad I had both but if I had to choose only one it would be a GH 2.

I just ordered a FF2, it's going to be infested at my place.

One thing that I've come to appreciate since the GH is the device analogy. When I was primarily a smoker I preferred joints and spliffs so it's no surprise I like the grasshopper, where the pax2 is more like a cigar and Firefly more like a bowl. And although I don't often smoke "cigars or bowls", I do like them and glad i have them around even though I normally use the grasshopper m

Expect it at least a year from now

I completely understand the demand for the GH. It is the most desirable (for me) vape that i have come across. I've been using a Pax 1 since inception and haven't seen a 'real' need to upgrade since (for my simple needs).

I did order a GH last month and I am eager to receive it. My 'projected' ship date is August which imo is a long while to wait! Should this thing really require 17 months to ship (13 months longer than projected)....I will really be unhappy.

While I understand that the indegogo pre orders were long delayed....I'd certainly hope (and expect) that Hopper Labs has gotten their proverbial 'act' together by now. This looks like a great product and I am an eager beaver.

Because as I've stated multiple times it isn't how a properly functioning Hopper acts. Lights should only blink right before the battery dies.

The lights are not supposed to blink only right before it dies, it begins blinking way before that. The speed increases as the battery drops.

From the manual "As it discharges, the lights will begin to flash blue with increasing intensity."
This is a normal function and it begins right away, it isn't supposed to wait until the battery is about to die. This can be confirmed with HL, which I have already done.
