Got a question, not sure if anyone can help.
I have one of those vape pens with oil in it, its the kind that comes pre filled. Looks like this...
It still has some oil in it but its dead and I dont have the charger...I can open up the oil part. Can i put some of this oil into concentrate pad? or will it leak though because its not in a solid form?
I am thinking I can't but figured wont hurt to ask.

FYI fresh blades have a coating of oil, typically a machine oil. Its probably cleaner to use the same old "dirty" blade each time and keep cleaning it. A brand new blade should be cleaned with iso.
Ok cool, thats a good idea! ill have to try that with a very small amount.

@Sh4dy15, how viscous is your oil? It doesn't have to be completely solid for it to work, but it should be pretty thick, I think. I don't have a lot of experience vaping "non-solid" oil, but you're supposed to be able to put a couple drops on your concentrate pad. It all ends up melting into the pad anyway. Unless the oil has been mixed with something else to give it a "thin" consistency, I think it should work on the concentrate pad.

I do clean them, It should go without saying that all new blades should be ISO cleaned
I also use it for 2 days.Once I am home I can take a picture and see what you guys think...It might be better on top of some flower but the pad might hold it just enough. it is thick, takes a few seconds to move from one side of tube to the other if I turn it upside down but its not in a solid/sticky form.

It sounds like it would work to me, but I would probably get a second opinion since everything I've ever put on a concentrate pad was mostly solid. I know that a lot of dispensaries sell oil in syringes, and I've seen people use those on videos for other vapes with concentrate pads. I don't recall seeing anybody using this stuff with the FF2, but a lot of times vape reviewers don't show you what they put in their pad.

It's thick now. When it heats, it'll get thinner, and if it leaks out the bottom of the pad, and drips into the tiny holes on the plate, you could have problems. Caveat vaper.

I'm not so sure I want to test that, but I remember reading it somewhere official. I think it was somewhere on FF's website.
@mitchgo61 Not a big deal if I can't use it. Definitely do not want to do anything that screws this thing up as its working awesome! Might be better to just stay away from it.

Has anyone who ordered from vapeworld received their firefly 2 yet or gotten a shipping notice? I ordered mine on April 27th and I'm becoming fairly impatient, but I know it's worth the wait, and hopefully I made it into the second wave.

I'm pretty sure Vapeworld's pre-orders won't be fulfilled until after Firefly has fulfilled all of their pre-orders. I think June is the expected timeframe.

You got me very worried so I contacted Vapeworld customer service. I was told that Vapeworld has already sent out some units and will be sending more out over the course of this week. Unfortunately she said that, due to my late pre-order date, I would most likely be receiving a shipping notice in 2-3 weeks, which puts me into June anyway

After reading about the lid issues here, I used the ff2 over the weekend and experimented with piching the end of the lid with my fingers and detected a slight change in the airflow more easily drew bigger hits in a shorter amount of time. I'm pretty sure I have the lid on correctly when I'm using it...
I'm not saying it's defective because it still works regardless of whether I pinch it or not but wanted to let you'll know what I experienced.
Also, any word whether the auto shut off will be tweaked in the firmware update?Mine seems to shut off too early although I found when I keep drawing after the light is off, vapor is still flowing.

All I'm saying is wait until you've tried your FF2 to decide which you want to keep if money is tight. My bet is on ol' Herbie.

Personally no. I have however followed the launch extraordinarily closely and seen that in my opinion not much has been improved. Very very restrictive draw, finicky about how much you pack/how it's ground, all videos shown so far through water have very very low vapor production even when compared to Chinese conduction units, and the price IMO is not justified.
If you've got an extremely low tolerance you will probably be perfectly happy with the FF2. I'm guessing you don't though or you probably wouldn't have an Herbalizer.
Just my opinion and my two cents. Others obviously feel much differently about the product.
I did own two of the original Fireflies and sold them within a month.

I think he's just trying to tell you to wait to sell your herbalizer. The FF2 is not for everybody and I would agree that you should play with it before banking on it. Especially if your herbalizer is "nearly flawless."
