Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I had a terrible event happen the other day. I've had my EVO since it's early days. I broke the bamboo once on accident, and coveted the crap out of it when it came back. They also re-calibrated it. It had been running pretty hot at 12 on the dial. However, I've been very careful after the first. I cleaned it a few months ago with ISO; I plugged up the ends and gave it a shake with a bit of salt to clean out the build up. I shook it, and popped the plugs off to empty the contents. Nothing...erhm? I turn it over. It starts leaking out the metal grill. Hmm, I don't see any damage while inspecting. Do a blow test. Yeah, little bit of a leak, probably a small hole. It hasn't been dropped since the first accident. I let it sit and dry for a couple days. It was 99%, so I figured it would dry fast. I contact support and they agree it is probably OK.

Works great again. After a few weeks, I notice something that looks like a crack, or build up. I think nothing of it. As it heats up, I hear a crack. Look down and it exploded, yikes! Luckily it was just two shards. I contacted VXL Support and they wanted me to send it in. 2 weeks turn around estimated, so hopefully it isn't an overworked team!

Seems like VXL Support is going to take care of me, I just hope they can figure out the heater situation!

Ordered my Cloud Evo standard kit two days ago!! I cannot wait until it gets here, the anticipation is killing me!

Thanks to everyone posting in this forum, i've been researching which vaporizer to get for the past 3 months and was sold after finding this!

I am slightly concerned with the over heating issues i've read about... Hopefully this won't be the case with my unit.

Medical grade silicone tubing is washable with high percentage rubbing alcohol and salt. It can become almost perfect once again by putting a little hot water, rubbing alcohol (91%) and kosher salt into the whip, holding your thumb on both end and moving the liquid from end to end. It works like a charm. Not looking to argue about silicone reusage as I know there are disagreements but @pakalolo has written on the subject and it's A-OK. At Loew and Home Depot you can find PVC tubing, which I think is probably okay for most vaporizer usage but not really recommendable because of lower temp ratings and the possibility of unsafe leeching. I have had OK experiences with it but definitely just wash your silicone and grab some new stuff from 7th floor when you need it, they sell awesome whip tubing.

Is this the right tubing to use with the EVO glass adapters? Says it's better than silicone...

waxdab23,
I've been an arizer solo user for about 2 years, and I'm thinking about taking the plunge... :brow: My arizer solo does not produce clouds like it used to because I overcharged the battery too much over the time I've had it. I noticed I've been vaping more as a result.

I'm not sure about getting a hydratube starter kit though... Are the hydratubes worth it, or would I be better off buying glass elsewhere to use with it? I'm really trying to stay under $400 for now. I have a coupon for VapeXhale.com to give me 10% off.
Are there better coupons to use on VapeXhale.com to lower the price?
The plan right now is to get a cloud evo starter kit for $315( including 10% off) or cheaper if possible, and buy some glass to use with it. Any suggestions for options I have for glass? :hmm:

I'm going to sleep on it for about a week before I make the final decision.

@supercoolsteve I would start with the regular mouthpiece and worry about a water tool later. I use the EVO more with the regular mouthpiece myself. There's a lot of cheap knockoffs through the sunshine store off Dhgate for under $40. As long as you have a nail and a couple of baskets you will be set for awhile.

I have the Hydrobomb and I like it but the reg mouthpiece will do fine for the time being. I think if I had it to do over I would buy a Chinese knock off. I have 2 bubblers that I have bought off Dhgate over the last year or so and I'm really happy with them.

I would really suggest picking DHgate glass up if you're trying to conserve on price. Either from users on here or the website itself there's a ton of cheap and awesome 18mm female glass. I own two hydratubes that work well, one a recycler. Paid under 100$. PM me if you need help with links

Thats what I did. I used the dry mouth piece that came with the starter kit, and after a few weeks of using the EVO dry I decided to buy a FC-187 perc for $40. Love it!!

Get em! Cannabis is for sure the proper term when dealing with exquisite flavors and spectacular colors.

I was curious when this would happen, & my-my did it happen so fast!
Normal startup, dab tool ready, decided to use the spaded end in the vapexnail (glass) and upon loading, I twisted the tool to get the wax to stick to the glass and Kabam!
One down.
However, of course it was user error because it broke exactly where my dumbass was twisting in the wrong area while not really paying attention to which side of the tool I'm using.
The pointed end is easier in my opinion.

Glass is becoming an issue... I've gone from perfect vision with my special eyes to feeling like Harry Carey with my special reading glasses that are spread across the land. Things are certainly not always what they appear! Arrrg..

I like how the hydratubes keep things simple while using - likely when I'm at my most error-prone state! But some of the designs sure seem a pain to clean...

Got any secrets to share about how you get cleaning stuff in, then back out of what was designed to prevent both? :D

I think number one is top shelf cannabis. If you are short on money you want to be able to have cannabis to put in your vaporizer. Spending too much money than how much you have to spend, would most likely cut into the canbabis budget.

Buy the glass piece when you can afford it. After buying WTs that work great for $30 -$40 spending over a hundred dollars is a lot. Especially if you get really wrecked before bed some night and drop it.

I got this yesterday, it is pretty sweet and hits like a champ! It doesn't really incycle correctly, if i put enough water in to do that, it drains right out the bottom! Will have to email them and see if I can get a replacement or something. It's two circ percs though and chiefs like a champ, despite the lack of inclycing. Truthfully was so drunk yesterday when I bought it at the headshop didn't even realize it was an incycler so all in all I'm happy with it :)

After countless sessions this weekend, I'm here to report that my evo is performing flawlessly. No hiccups at all.

I also want to give another shoutout to the standard mouthpiece that came with this thing. Even after receiving my dhgate hydratube, I still find myself reaching for the dry mouthpiece more often. The tube works great but I've really grown to love the standard mouthpiece. Not to mention it is easier to store.

Now onto roasting another elb before bed....I really do love this thing.
