Super vaped off ACE Over here and I just figured a fantastic DIY mod.

This is a simple M2M Gong "trying to find the right size" fix I think you all should be able to do easily!:tup:

First cut approximately 1" of surgical silicone tubing from a whip.:ninja:

Stick the tubing into your Milaana Mouthpiece.:o


Then slide the tubing about half way down the stem.:\



Pull the tubing to the side and hold it with your thumb.:|



Then stretch and wrap the silicone tubing around the whole tip of the mouth piece.:ugh:



Instant Song! :clap:

I used it for 3 chambers and it seals nice and tight and works great!

You can even leave it on when using it dry so it protects the tip of the glass!:tup:



I hope this helps everyone with the USA/ISO issue! Making it a non issue.:shrug:

If you have a piece of surgical silicone, (this piece was from Alan for my His), VapeXhale, ViVape, they all use the same surgical silicone and you only need roughly an inch. I found this same silicone at Sears hardeware by the plumbing supplies, I think it was 4 or 6 feet for around $7.:nod:

SSV or 7th floor whip will not work. It is not surgical silicone it is more like nylon and does not stretch.:disgust:

So much fun!:D

Hey Doc, while that does indeed look like an easy & very useful mod, I was wondering if you have heard of spallation with regards to silicone?

Research seems to suggest that both excessive heat and/or any form of pressure can cause silicone to spall, which depending on it's application, gives the potential for silicone particles to be ingested.

So, for the reason of risk & harm reduction, I would not personally use any streched or deformed silicone in anyway whatsoever, with any of my vaporizer modifications.

And, there is of course a thread dedicated to this delightful subject right here on F.C . . . .

Seriously though what charger and batteries do you recommend?
For charger, I'm looking at the nitecore d4 since its 30 bux on Amazon and can charge 4.
For batts, are the lg he4 the very best?
There is only one model for these right? (I saw two for the he2)

I would repurchase just the Milaana, but I'd miss the pace and rolling-on-5min-to-happily-toasted sessions w/ the Firewood.

I think the underlying catalyst behind VAS is the high is just different w/ each device, just like it used to be different between a j or a bong or a one-hitter. In this case Firewood and Milaana both offer what I'd call a log-vape high, but the Milaana peels your face off in a minute (with a bit of ritual managing the stem) while the Firewood high rolls on (with a ritual of warm up, med-slow draws and many hits from tiny amounts) like settling into a hammock on a moonless night.

My current lineup kinda blows me away - I ran an MFLB as my only device for a year or so, then cut my sessions in half to like 8 minutes (and doubled the amount of flower used) with a Flowermate, while finding all the most interesting upgrades were still in development. Then over a six month period, from a couple preorders and a classified purchase here, for less than $300 total (before Grasshopper warranty returns postage anyway) I now have a Grasshopper, a Firewood, and a Milaana. The Grasshopper came first and the speed & quick perspective shift was what I'd been missing since combustion. But I bought the Firewood during the second hopper warranty return (and had my technique 100% by the fifth hopper return) and it was slower but more efficient and better tasting, plus that log-vape signature, so it became my nighttime and/or porch sitting vape. Now I have the Milaana which is kinda like if the hopper and Firewood got together and made a fat genius baby - as fast (maybe faster?) as the hopper, similar signature but more powerful effects than the Firewood.

I think somewhere in here I'm overdue for a t-break, but each new device re-sensitizes me. Plan to finish this week w/ Milaana, then I'll do a series of weeks where I start w/ a 48hr break, then I'll use one vape for the rest of the week, Grasshopper then Firewood then Milaana. At the end I'll report here.

@mrkrab, Firewood technique is simple but wasn't intuitive for me (draw sensor is more like a limited function switch than I'd imagined) so PM me or check the Firewood thread for fool-proof instructions.

Sounds great man! Honestly I think it's good for anyone thinkin about buying this thing to see milk shot videos, really showcases the performance for me. I mean since I know it's a convection vape and I have an idea of the bowl size I can get a really good idea of the size of hits your getting and that last vid looked like a e nano sized water hit, close to SSV size actually. This thing really might be my new DD.

Now the batteries: which is optimal? LG HE2 or HE4?

There's an lsv sitting right next to my Milaana and I'll definitely grab the Milaana instead. So much simpler. It's the simplicity of the nano with the power of the lsv. But ... Nowhere near the elegance of the nano.
I go basket style, that bowl was about a .05. First hit light vapor, strong taste primer; second hit was the video, an absolute massive hit that punches the lungs hard; after that, the herb is a light brown, and I do one last rip and feather safely to make sure I don't overcook.
I'm never worried at all about combustion during my rip, but it is most certainly possible. Do not doubt the power. It. Is. There. I don't mean powerful for a portable, I mean I feel like I'm taking dabs by vaping flower. It is STRONG.

So I'm an international pre-order and I'm seriously enjoying the recent stuff on here - no shipping confirmation but Sheila has been in touch and I've had a PayPal request for the spare stems I requested. Have resisted the urge to post here for a while as I thought things took a turn for the worse but glad to hear all the good vibes working their way back into the the thread. I've recently had a vacation and subsequently the first 12 day T-Break since I Fucked Combustion! Can honestly say it wasn't that bad and now I'm back home my Daisy is completely ruining me in 1 bowl!
Can't wait to try my Milaana.

I am also international and received my invoice for extras on the 10th I think it was... payed up straight away but never got any notification. But then @Tommy10 noticed in his paypal it was showing dispatched. I checked mine and low and behold mine was sent on 11th. With a tracking number which doesn't work for Australia... Im gonna guess about 12 days! Check you paypal recipt for the extras to find out if it shipped

Wow I can't wait.. Honestly this sounds like it was made for me. its been a long time where I take my portables out with me and I still yearn to come back to my SSV or before my nano through some water. I think maybe a F bomb water tool or whatever they are called could be very good for me, water conditioned clouds on the go :) and I know what you mean by a flowers hitting like dabs haha. Happens once in a while with a big pack on my SSV. That is a very encouraging statement :)

Didn't prime this time, just packed and hit. Fresh battery, 2-3 second preheat, and I managed to get it to crackle.

This is the second hit, and this one finished the basket.
I let off the throttle too early and you can see it start to thin halfway through, but just a few seconds back on the trigger and it was back to milking towards the end of the video.

Wow so powerful! And I can see how in the second video the vapor did dissipate because of letting off early but wow that really showed the milaanas power because you still got the piece milked up in that draw. great videos! I'm sure people will appreciate them. I know when I shop for vapes that's one thing i always look at. I didn't with this one because i couldn't find any lol.

Is there an alternative to the screens/mesh to hold the load in place...or a trick for stirdy placement?

Has been a b***h trying to securely get them in place...

I've outwardly bent the rim of rhe screens and place them but it wasnt sucessful.

Its only a problem because it sucks trying to stir a load and have a screen sliding down; when your on the go.
