Discontinued The Grasshopper

Ummm, this statement is just not correct. This is simply your opinion, and an incorrect one at that. For example. The Supreme 3 can be had for $122 after emailing Ed AND it will out extract the hopper.

If you have an opinion, please state it as such. There is no best vape for anyone, but stating an opinion as fact or making incorrect conclusions does not benefit the community. My 2 cents.
Are u getting % from the Supreme? Its a nice gadget but i would hardly call it a functional portable vaporizer (in my opinion ;-))

Im sure the supreme 3 is a great vape and extracts really well from what I've seen/read but by your own rules you shoud have added IMO maybe

I'm not tying to be argumentative here although I realise it can read that way so sorry if that's the way it comes over :peace:

Anyway I've had my gh for a few weeks now and have tried putting the avb in my other vapes and even my butane vapes (capable of higher temps) cannot get anything from it, so IMO the gh extracts extremely well with my usage pattern/habit.

The S3 certainly is not a true portable (although due to the torch power it is considered portable by FC standards).

Problem with your first statement is you said and i quote, "honestly (grasshopper) has the best extraction capabilities of any vaporizer on the market...." You didn't say a damn thing about portable, until you accused me of getting a % from Ed. I don't. And i paid for Supreme versions 1, 2 and 3.

Edit. My apologize Kashish i see it was someone else who made the original statment that the GH could extract like the Sub and Evo.

It all comes down to extracting so well in such a small form. I think that is what people are trying to convey in their responses. Also, it extracts so well so quickly with not fuss. All you do is click it on, connect to a water piece and wait five seconds. It doesn't get much easier or stealthier.

Well i just checked it and the pathway from the battery to the mouthpiece isnt blocked u still draw some air from there. This kinda makes me a sad panda..

Vape trees understood me well. Like he said form factor, versatility factor, economic sustainability, quick on the go extraction hits. Sorry but in my OPINION( so some people don't get their panties in a wad) I think what the gh has inside of it is ingenious and partially why I think it's the best on the market

This sort of aside adds nothing to the conversation, is inflammatory, and is definitely not in the spirit of our Be Nice rule. If you really feel you have to provoke someone, please do it in a PM.
I suggest you look at causal links before you administrate one comment over another . this place is filled with user opinions and not facts. I don't know why the user before insinuated I was stating a fact so this time around I put a disclaimer . Thanks for the great job modding these threads!

I suggest you leave the moderating to moderators. I saw that post. It does not give you an excuse for your behaviour.

I know what you mean, but I can't help but imagine you pulling out a bubbler on the subway and getting side eyes from people. "What?? It's a PEN."

The GH was designed to be stealth but it seems like everyone is using it with water and an extended mouthpiece to cool the vapor. Is the low temp hot?
I understand if you just want to try it out a lot of different ways. We are likes kids with a new toy when we get a new vaporizer.

@slick Haha you don't have to use it with a bubbler. That would be hilarious though and I'm sure someone would have the balls to try that, but not me.

@CarolKing It's not bad at all to be honest. All you have to do is cover your throat using your tounge so it doesn't directly hit the back of your throat. I usually just use it natively. I like to use it at all temperatures natively depending on how I want to feel.

@YaFreekin Right I just covered the air holes with tape and took a draw through the mouthpiece and I could pull in some air. The backend was attached.

This is a very good point and question, and something that I have wondered as well.

Seems (IMO) the only reason to pay such an extremely high price for the GH is due to the extreme stealth factor, which means using it dry with no mouthpiece in public places. But it seems from a lot of posts, that it might run too hot to actually use that way.

I hate to sound like a downer, (as I actually love the design, and if it functions as intended, as a stand alone stealth vape for daily use, would be my dream vape) but if it runs too hot to use frequently throughout the day without any sort of mouthpiece shield or adapter and/or water piece, then what is the point?

No hate, just constructive (hopefully) questioning...

@ghost it does run hot even with the silicone mp. Adjust where your lips are and you don't need the mp as you can feel it getting very hot even with it on. I also find coming from crafty/mighty that the vapor is not as harsh as I thought and definitely not as cool but surprisingly enjoyable. The airpath may take some getting use to as its smaller than I am used to. The chamber is also smaller than I imagined as I remember watching videos of people loading "massive" bowls that were barely .2. Enjoyed my first week with the hopper so far.

I guess very little, i wouldnt want very little battery fumes in my vapor either :-<
I also do not like battery fumes... that is why I am asking if there is coming air truth the battery compartment when the airhole are not blocked... and is there the chance of inhaling battery fumes...???

no battery fumes. i wish we knew what the heater was made up of. because it doesnt even seem like a heater, it really looks like magic inside.

I know that this has been touched upon elsewhere in the thread but now that so many GH vapes are out there, can some folks give me ideas for using concentrates, namely shatter in this vape?
