what happened to the water tool? waiting to order to til i see wassup with that

@Peacockfur They said all that order before 4/20 would get the WPA i think they amended it to ordering before they get the shipment you will get the WPA. So waiting will be counter productive and you might miss out.

You pack a bowl in the elb screen then twist it to fit down in the CF? But why

@Eatrocks the ELB screens let you prepack and swap loads on the go help keep the oven clean easy to remove spent material. Also adds better flavor and more convection i believe to the experience. They fit perfectly i had to crimp the side just slightly on 1 screen because it was bigger.

Hoping the CF will still run hot enough for concentrates even though it's max is 15 degrees less than the CFX!

@lomein07 while i have not used concentrates in my CF Boundless did a live stream thats up on youtube where they did concentrate out of the CF and got 3 people ripped with a good number of pulls. I was worried when i ordered my CF i would regret the extra 15 degress but after extensive use i don't even care about the extra 15 degress i personally use the 385 setting most often 400 less often and almost never use 415 so i dont miss the 430 at all.

@Andrew26 yes they fit if you read the last couple pages its mentioned multiple times. If you need further proof i have a post on pg 25 with pictures.

@BurtBigMacklin The CF and CFX are in every way the same except the OLED screen, size, and the extra 15 degrees. The CFX has 2 batteries but they both get the same barrery life the 2nd battery basicly runs the LED screen. Hope that helps. So yes the VapeXhale ELB screens fit the CFX, and my preferred usage.

Thanks for the clarification!

I got a CFX myself, but I've been out of town and it was delivered the day after I left. I can't wait to give it a run.

And looks like I'll be picking up some ELB's.

I don't think what you(& many others, even boundless) are saying about battery life makes any sense. The CFX has a 2500mAh capacity vs 1300mAh on the CF. The OLED screen draws little power(compared to the heater). The battery life should be much better on the CFX.

Yup..and they coulda used 2500 mah 18650s for a 5000 mAh vape!!!!! How does 25-30 sessions on a single charge?!?! Lol, battery life is probably the best outta of any other vape device of equal size.

I wish people would stop calling it an oled screen . That may actually be my biggest pet peeve with thus vape. It claims it has an oled screen when it's CLEARLY a regular old, cheap, back lit lcd.

I'm so torn between this and the underdog, but i really need that portability factor going back to uni and such. How does it compare to the Arizer models so far as vapor density and harshness? Thanks guys

It absolutely is. If it were an oled the black portions of the screen would be completely void of light, as oled pixels create their own light. Lcd back lit screens rely on light passing through an lcd panel so even "black" is slightly illuminated. In other words if you were to have an oled screen with a black image on it, it would seem as though the screen isn't even on, zero illumination. It's not a deal breaker, just odd to me that they chose to call it an oled when it's clearly not. Still my favorite current vape.

I've been leaving my cfx on for the most part...5 click system reminds me of all the cheap mods..I find leaving it on doesn't really affect battery and when I'm wanna vape just hold the power for 2 sec.

What I most want is some kinda mouthpiece tube attachment to draw from so it's not so hot..I tend to start vaping around 400 and crank to 430.

I'll have to try leaving it on. I tend toward short, but frequent, sessions, and it has me wondering how long the power button will hold up. Thanks for the tip.

I agree on the heat issue. I'm using my CFX at 360F until the vapor becomes minimal. Sometimes I then turn it up to 380, or I just dump the ABV and reload. Even 380 is a bit hot for me. However, I'm not dissatisfied by the buzz at these temps, so I'm thinking the temp readings are just a relative measurement. In other words, a 360 reading on the CFX may be comparable to ~390 on the Herbalizer, and 380 on the CFX may be like ~410 on Herbie. That's what it feels like to me anyway.

You also have to take into account where the heat censor is on both devices. This may cause a discrepancy between both devices.

Yep, for that reason, I'd bet money that any two devices will read differently while actually at the same temperature.

EDIT: I mean any two devices from different manufacturers, or at least different models. I'd imagine any 2 of the same design will measure the same or very close.

Next time u vape ur boundless try this...load it up, take a few hits then hold the power to turn off the heater as u finish a draw and see if the temp goes up 5-15 degrees (I usually see a 10 to 15 degree jump).
The hot air ur drawing up thru the bowl raises the temp and makes it have a decent amount of convection.

I just got my cfx yesterday after having owned the cf for about a month now..2 difference that i have noticed so far.. 1st being that the cf is def more restricted than the cfx. Its noticeable and the cf has the bottom screen removed and its still noticeable to me..the cfx definately had much bigger intake holes at the bottom so i guess that is it. Sometimes when i hit my cf i will have my finger over the intake holes without knowing and it fully restricts it.. and my 2nd noticeable difference is to me it seems that with the cf and its more restricted draw that i gwt clouds on first hit and a bit thicker..with the cfx and its more airy wide open draw the first hit is flavor town and the vapor starts coming on hit 2 and 3 and then rips. Im wondering if the difference in draw restriction has anything to do with the clouds at start? I love both these babies but need the wpa so i can use it with my hydratubes ala my mighty..the cfx is alot closer to mighty in restriction that the cf is..

Is the air intake tube smaller than the cfx??
I notice on mine the tube doesn't line up with the bottom hole all the way.

Is the screen supposed to shut off while you are charging the CFX? When I plug it in, the battery light indicator shows up and indicates that it's charging, but soon after the screen goes to sleep and I have to press a button to show the indicator again. Is this normal behavior?
