This is disappointing to hear. If they are really ahead of their shipping schedule and started sending out May estimates before the end of April, why are there still dates being pushed back? Did you order a colored Ti? Are they only on/ahead of the new schedule for SS units? Sounds like they're getting closer to meeting estimates, but still not as accurate as they're claiming.

I was talking about seeing a bunch of Jan '15 preorders getting confirmation, I believe the latest was Jan 24. And that the grey Ti is still back in Dec. I'm waiting for my grey Ti, so I'm still a month behind the Jan orders that are getting address confirmation. I was speaking specifically about MY Grey Ti being a month behind the latest address confirmation. Nothing to do w HL estimates.

@DocGonzo I am thinking that @upinsmoke date was pushed back when everyone elses was recently and this was the first time he has checked it since before then. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think anyones estimates has been pushed back since the beginning of April 13th update when HL stated that this would happen.

@EdE80 Did you also order your Grey Ti back in Dec 2014?

Ordered Feb 12, that's why I was hoping with all the Jan 20-something confirmations going out I didn't have a whole lot longer to wait. It appears that the Grey Ti are a month behind the others though

Not to put too fine a focus on it, but my esd changed twice during April.
Just after the March Update (April 1), my esd was still reading March and of course was changed by 2 months to May, to keep the dates from being awkwardly behind.
Then came the Mid April update (April 13th) and the resolve with promise to revise everyone's dates to more in line with reality. My esd changed a couple days later to June.
If you're still reading, my preorder date was 02Aug '15.

@vapviking Sorry I should have been more specific with my dates on the updates in my post above. What I meant to say was that I thought that no ones dates had been changed since the April 13th update (and I still stand by that) when HL stated that this would be happening. Is that correct or has yours changed twice since that update?

They are theoretically going to be getting to June 5th 2015 this month, because I saw a June 5th preorder saying he was slated for may, and I am June 6th and slated for June.

Doubt they will get to June 5th this month, but I kind of think they might next month.

Fingers crossed big time. Ordered this for last years birthday, would be killer to receive it around this one.

June 4th (6:30am lol) order here and I still have a May ship date! I am hopeful it will be met being that they are 100 ahead for May at the start anyways. Not sure how pushing a bunch back to June gets them ahead for May, but I like this last update. :tup:

Hi @EdE80- I've been tracking orders here and on reddit since preorders have started shipping, and can let you know that the Dark Grey hoppers are shipping with order dates in line with the other styles. I started a thread over there to let folks know some details (as cosi_fan_tutte). Essentially, the latest order dates posted by users show the last batch of announcements running up to Jan 21-23 2015. There do appear to be a few folks who have been overlooked, maybe due to inefficiencies in the order tracking process? Hope that helps.

Your post is very confusing. Are you saying that Ratchett said 40,000 sold or that there were 40,000 orders? Hopper themselves said in the April update that there are 5,200 outstanding orders. So where did you get the 40,000 from? And there is no way that they have sold 40,000.

@WhyAreWeWaiting Here is @Ratchett s quoted post. It took me a while to find it. This is from April 20th. It was a while ago. Sometimes you need to read through the thread to get up to speed.


550 units a week does sound good (although a bit slow if you ask me), I estimate they have already sold over 40,000 grasshoppers. Nobody knows how many they've already made and sold (and how many replacements they've shipped in total) but I believe it's because they had a massive backlog of orders and they refused to ship a defective product.

That up above paragraph is a quote from @Ratchett. That's what he said. I couldn't get my quote tag to work. @WhyAreWeWaiting had a question about something that ratchett had said. 40,000 GHs was a number from him. that was from Apr. 20th.

Dude, you're missing the point of the words and arguing technicalities. For preorders, sold does not equal shipped. NO ONE thinks 40k have shipped, but there could be that many paid for and waiting to be manufactured

i wouldn't mind to receive a Hopper without a charger if i could jump a line if doing so :) in my Hopper "baby room" everything is prepared. an external charger also.

I got the external charger but my powerbank seams to be not showing up, I told the ebay seller it was 2 weeks late and he instantly cancelled and refunded my order EVEN though I told him not to and I was just following Ebay guide lines .. I am bit like "wtf" should I buy another or wait couple weeks more ?

I do have time

I know that was what I was trying to explain to you. Folks please read through the posts. So we don't just take up space. This is a very frustrating thread. Good luck I hope you guys get your hoppers soon.

The question should be, "Who took English in school?" :\
@Ratchett wrote nothing about how many Hoppers were shipped, only "sold". Argue about the meaning of "sold" if you must. You are taking issue with something that was never said.

I been saying there would come a month with total radio silence from hopper and now it feels like it is, bit concerning how irradiated I am over this but not the wait for the unit, its not like I am not feeling the burn but fuck come on cant they just tweet "hey xxxxx is happening and now xxxxx will happen when we get the xxxxx running"

if it was not the fact that I dont really have much bud to enjoy until mid June I would maybe have asked for refund to get Arizer Air but I dont want conduction vape and I cant spend more then 180 bucks because that is all I have and replaceable battery is like a must for me

dirt poor hippy farmer here that has not had income since Sept 2015 (last veg harvest of season)

but ... if they are going to be going like they have then I feel like my August estimate 2016 is more like January 2017 :/
