You're spot on about the Lady, she gives the joint an air of class doncha think? I fear your perspective is off in the other two assessments.

Many years ago I used to like to watch the car races at Sears Point and other local tracks, especially the classics and formula V (a 'poor mans racing' based on open wheel light cars powered by basically stock Volkswagen Beetle running gear. Guys would work full time on their cars to race, knowing a crash ends the season. Enter Warner Earhart (of EST fame), with his 'it's OK to be an asshole' attitude/ego. He'd didn't show up with a beat up old car on an even more beat up trailer, he'd show up with a couple of semis full of gear, spare cars and full support teams. He had lots of other people's money to spend. He came to win at all costs, no prisoners, true to his view of life. He'd run guys off the road, very aggressive, he had spare cars they did not. That's an asshole. You don't make the cut. Sorry, keep trying?

So, big guy, you just go on being the enthusiastic promoter of this here fine vape, helping the new guys and all, and we'll do just fine. It a good word and you're the best spreader on this here Forum. Even if you do scare the women and horses sometimes.

I had some GSC Thin Mint earlier and some DUTCH TREAT with a glass of OLD VINE from NCA. (now)

Level 4 DRY is all I can Handle these days.
FRANKLIN while in PARIS had up to 9 women every night. (9 year period)
He's my IDOL!

@CarolKing does kind of class up the joint.

I know you have more vaporizers than Jay Leno has cars!

The SOLO is perfect for reading so it is the one I use most!

In Australia the current price for a solo on a main Australian vape website is $257.95. Pretty expensive but I'm used to it, we pay a high price for most thing here.

But the people from Aus vapes seem to know their stuff and are helpful. I've put a few friends onto them now, they stock a nice selection of vapes and accessories so I am happy they exist.

Thanks for the perspective. You're right, of course, higher prices beats not at all every time. You can always decide not to buy 'cuz the price is too high.....unless there are none at all for sale?

But I'm also 'taken' by the thought that what change there is in availability and cost is positive from our POV? That is while I can't think of a place I know of where the lid got slammed down hard (there could be, of course, it's just I didn't get the memo.....) I can give lots of examples of improving conditions. It's becoming more legal/less illegal, more excepted and widespread and so on?

I get it that folks are impatient and all, and want it all now. Very natural these days for sure. But I take comfort that while progress might not always be 'fast enough' it doesn't seem to be negative. It could be a whole lot worse my friends.......

It could also be the battery, even though it reads 'full' it might not be able to deliver enough power to support heating (one weak cell of the two could do this). Does it behave any differently 'plugged in' when you try to run it? That takes about half the load off the battery so a weak one should try longer before giving up?

Yeah I've tried running it both on and off charging, it doesn't get even close to warm. I really dont want to invest in a new battery unless I'm 100% sure it is a faulty battery. Sucks to be the first one who has reported this problem but oh well. I had similar luck with the flowermate it keeps turning off after a few seconds but the flowermate does get warm I just have to keep pressing the button every few seconds, that's how I'm vaping right now. I suppose if I had to get a new one I'm looking at the Arizer air.

If it acts the same I'd suggest you not try the battery, it sure sounds like the heater. There have been a few guys report this issue (no heat, shuts off quickly) before, and recently at least one guy confirmed Arizer had said that was the case and replaced his Solo.

Double bummer you're there not here. The heater is warrantied for life I believe?

One thought is you might buy another Solo. Right off you could swap batteries and know if a new battery will give you two good units. You also get a source of spare parts that might save the day in the future (like say the battery if it gets a OK by testing in the new unit.

Perverse, really, how such things land where they could do the most damage. If it happened to me I'd box it up, break out a backup of some sort (even another Solo) until Arizer returned it. All I (or anyone 'here abouts') would have to do is pay postage one way and wait for good things.

Sorry for your untimely loss as they say in Undertaker's Parlors..... Too bad you're not local, you and Ataxian could go in on bulk buys or something?

In a rare serious moment, but all means consider Ed's excellent stems. More so if I follow you with concern of 'missing low temperatures. Just the opposite, I think, in effect. Most of us end up 'bumping the heat' up to compensate for the extra losses up the SS tube (at least that's why I think I'm doing it). That is if we want the performance we're used to at step 4, try 5. Gives you, I guess, a 'step zero'?

In any event, Ed's stems will run cooler I think you'll find. And, of course, they're pretty robust. And easy to maintain if you have the right size snap ring pliers to work the clamp ring. Not absolutely necessary, of course, but make it a snap......

Hopefully you have a backup stem to tide you over?

Now Ataxian we've been through this before. You can only sell unbreakable parts once. OTOH guys like you are the kind of 'money in the bank' future glass customer a guy could plan his kids college costs on......

The above pic is with the @Ed's TnT 3 inch WonG made for my Solo. It's the black wood with the turquoise inlay. I can use it as a WonG as well as a mouthpiece I use when it I don't want to break anything. I love a glass mouthpiece but like wood too.

If you get a 3 inch WonG rather than the 2 inch, it can be used as a mouthpiece too. If it was just 2 inches I wouldn't like it as well as a mouthpiece, it might get too hot.

I have a few of his pieces. I have a whip set up with wood pieces I use with the Solo too. The whip I got off the Herbalizer and I have the blood wood wooden adapter and mouthpiece there's a pic a while back. It works well with my AA too.

The wooden black wood WonG works with the AA even though it's a little tight.

I switch AA and Solo mouthpieces. Solo mouthpieces fit my AA even though they are a little tight.

it's not even that bad regarding my stem, there is a third of the chamber missing so I was still using it but very cautious while inserting. The whole thing led me to not buy new weed yesterday and today I did not even vape ABV. first weed free day in god knows what timeframe if you keep out days like visiting the kid's grandparents where it's way too hard for me to consume weed anywhere. Feeling god so far, let's see how far I can push it (knowing my style I will be vaping that 0,05g I just found lying around, at 10am tomorrow)

You're probably paying around $80 more for the solo than in Canada, mine was $167 Cdn inc tax. I got paranoid about not being able to get the most out of my Pinnacle water tool when it comes so ordered a 14mm easy-flow gong from England, but they list the price in $ Aus as well for some reason.
