Why not fill it with just water first and hit the HT without the EVO. Then slowly add more water until you find the ideal level. THEN add Rez after you've found the perfect level.

I tried that exact method but How many drops do you add? I only added 3 drops but I don't know the correct amount. I kept getting small splashes of water in my mouth.
And should the hydrabomb perc be submerged in water or a couple slits/grids open?
I'm completely new to percs so I'm not quite sure what to look for when you say the perfect level?

Honestly, THE heaviest hits I have had from the EVO. It will wreck you. I have not been able to go past 12 with this. 2 hits at 10. 2-3 at 12. Done.
Total beast. I love it.
Oh yeah. I have multiple plugs plugged in. One by the sofa & one right up from behind the desk. It's real nice to start in one spot, then be able to easily move.

Well I got my replacement elbs the other day from vapexhale that I was told would be checked before shipping and I guess they were not. Same problem , they are way to loose and fall out when inverted or rise up when not and inhaling. I don't like them like this. Good thing I still have two decent originals I just cleaned that fit perfect. I emailed them again , hoping they can help but to be quite honest , I really don't want loose fitting elbs so I have to worry about them falling out on me.

So after reading through this thread, I have finally settled on buying an evo for a desktop. I've been trucking along with my Arizer Air for the past year and I'm finally ready to invest in a good desktop unit. The evo seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
I had planned on ordering a hydratube starter kit but after reading the past few pages, I think I'm just going to pick up the basic package with the standard mouthpiece and either buy a chydratube from dhgate or get the whip adapter and use with one of my rigs. Is the hydratube that big of a step up compared to using the evo with an existing rig? It's too bad they are having the QC issues with the tubes...I would be willing to spend the extra money on a nice tube if I could be guaranteed on the quality of it.

One of the things I find interesting about knowledge is that no one (or at least none of the many, many, many philosophers I have read) can define it. So the conversation looks something like:

Is there any chance, any chance whatsoever that VXH does not intend to sell your damaged unit to someone else? If so, then you cannot know that and if that is true, then is it obvious that VXH intends to sell your damaged unit to someone else? Is it obvious that they have any unethical intent whatsoever or is that merely one of many potential reasons they want you to return the glass ?
We humans are incredibly efficient and effective at manufacturing an illusion of solidity, resolution, certainty, predictability, and control out of nothing but our thoughts - and that is the single source of virtually all our unnecessary suffering.

I get it, and I wouldn't speculate on things that I could not know. And I do not think Vapexhale is underhanded or crooked at all, sorry if it came across like that. I just think their QC needs to be improved and they shouldn't put their customers out while they correct their mistakes.
They actually told me they were going to sell it, which I don't think is a bad thing! That is great as long as it's not passed as a full priced item, and they have assured me it would not be, So no harm, no foul. In fact, in light of this I have asked them to just let me buy my own scratch and dent piece to keep as a spare so I don't have to go without it for a week during the return process!
It may be an ugly HT BUT honestly I'm in love with my Evo and HT! I just got some of the stinkiest White Rhino I have ever seen and I couldn't wait to use this thing. I put a little more water in it to account for the tilt and while the function isn't 100% with perfect spin, it makes bubbles and the flavor is great!!
I love big clouds so I turned my new Evo to about 2:00, After it turned green I held off and let it get heat soaked for about 10 minutes, then I hit it. I took a long, slow, draw that was really the best vape hit I have ever had. Other than a few torch powered beasts this has got to be THE vape for us cloud chasers. I can get the same huge clouds as my UD log with VVPS with better flavor and no charring and it's much easier to achieve these results!
I hope they let me just buy my own scratch and dent and send me a spare so I don't have to go without this thing for a week, it's AWESOME!!
I KNOW it seems like I would be the last person to tell you to get the VXH HT too but really, just get both. The flavor from even my retarded turbine is fantastic, variety is the spice of life, get one of each! Glass is addicting
So far Vapexhale has been courteous and fair, and I wouldn't be afraid to order glass from them again despite this last transaction. I will let you know how it plays out.

The EVO unit I love however the attachments I will make unbreakable more durable accessories.
ALL my nails are in the trash.
Why not make them out of TI-2 or something other than glass?
I was loving the use of a HYDRO-TUBE with SHATTER.
The pens are functioning however the FLAVOR was exceptional in the EVO.
Maybe it's just me?

White Rhino is amazing! That's my favorite for hanging out with friends, comedy show, got something to do etc. It's a trip, it's like you're really clear headed and able to think perfectly while high as fuck with a body high
I got some WR shatter too that has similar effects, but is even more uplifting. I think I'm going to have WR in permanent rotation if possible.

Drop them in the EVO and put it on Max temp. The bottom will burn off. You will more likely never get the stain above the opening out but that doesn't matter as much. Make sure you control your draw speed with the nails so you don't suck all the concentrate up the nail and even possibly into your bamboo.I did only one dab out of each of the nails pictured below.
I gave them a hot ISO bath to get the black gunk out, but they still look the same.
I'm using high quality, clean concentrates.
What am I doing wrong or is this normal?

Also some people put them on a metal nail and torch them to get the middle clean. I wouldn't go through that unless it started tasting bad, but so far it has not. What @scottg402 mentioned has been fine for me so far, I just put the EVO in high for 2 minutes, or if it's my last hit for that session I just leave it in there until I come back.I did only one dab out of each of the nails pictured below.

Yeah , do what @scottg402 suggested .
But for the stubborn stains , at the middle of the VXN . ( not on yours )
You can def. use a torch to clean that black gunk off .
I've made mine glow red and see the gunk burn right off .

I've had an Evo/Cloud since it was in beta and go back and forth on this. I usually end up using it one way for about a year and then switching it back. The switch is great because they really are different experiences, both great. If you've already got nice 18mm glass, you can go with the base unit for now and get an HT later, or get the package now and have fun playing back and forth. Don't pay full price...you can always get at least 10% off using the link or code in my signature.

I think I've decided to go ahead and pick up the base unit and order a tube from dhgate. My plan is to wait and see if VapeXhale gets some of these quality control issues out before buying the official hydratube. And thanks for the discount code too! How long is a NAIL?Sweet - burn off at the highest temp worked like a charm. Not perfect, but definitely good enough. If the upper mess begins to effect taste, the advice from @poonman makes sense.
