Any word on new hydra tubes in the works ? I think I had seen something a few pages back.

The newer one I submitted to SsS was rejected for being too close to Stevens FC-mp. If anyone cares to pick up the ball please do, I'm a little busy with other work at the moment.

Ive been testing out my new CCG incycler rig for 2 weeks now & thoroughly enjoying every minute. I love the design and it's built solid (no thin spots). My only bitch is that the incycler function isn't as pronounced as in the video but still works better than other incyclers I've bought from other vendors. I've also been using adapters on my rigs in order to protect the joint connections. I've seen some posts where stress cracks were spotted and I figuered it's easier to replace a $9 adapter as opposed to a $50 glass rig. Also I contacted CCG and requested no label on the bottom side and they were happy to comply. Overall another quality rig from CCG and can't wait to see their next designs.
Great review, I've got a clear one shipping out soon that I'm looking forward to trying out.

Since I have a lot of pieces what I do is use a dropdown with a female 14mm joint so I can easily move it between my male 14mm pieces or female pieces with adapters. I've still gotten a couple bases stuck to dropdowns but they're still usable since you can remove the e-nail head for cleaning.

I'm the same way, use drop downs on almost everything. Just for the sake of making cleaning much more reasonable also. Not to mention the growing number of pieces with white colouring.

Yeah, that was my only concern as well. I tend to use as little water as possible in all my glassware. Typically I fill the piece until the diffuser is barely covered. A few days ago, something inspired me to watch CCG's demo video again. I noticed that they filled their Wake 'n Bake quite a bit more than I did. When I filled mine to the disc (what's it called?) that's about a half inch above the logo in the photo, my vortex was every bit as present as the one in the video. Yay. :)

Tagging @Monsoon to make sure he sees this for when his W'nB arrives.

Hey guys, I've been waiting on my CCG D-Cycler for about a month now. I just received a message stating that CCG can no longer ship to zip codes starting with 8/9.

I'm just wondering if anyone else had problems with the other preferred sellers, on shipping to California? I'm looking to make another purchase and would prefer not to run into the same situation. Thank you!

That's really odd, I was thinking it might be a state thing but several states have codes starting with 8 or 9. Anyone know why?

That's pretty weird. Maybe email them back and ask why?
It was pretty ambiguous, but they said the package was sent back due to a policy for states with zip codes starting with 8/9. I'm not sure which policy they're referring to. I also noticed they put the same statement up on their store home page.

It's just a little surprising, considering that's pretty much the whole west coast and midwest. I'm assuming this is a new policy?

Ugh, seems my GAS has returned. I'm still waiting for the CCG-FTK to ship but I decided to order this one and got a tracking number within a few hours.

I've had my eye on this one for awhile so I snapped it up. Forget whether the reviews here were positive, but for a piece like this I think it largely depends on whether the blower does mine correctly or not. I wouldn't pay much more for it though.

I've got my eye on a few other pieces too. I must say I'm pretty impressed with how fast the sellers have evolved in their capabilities, I think it was just a year ago that the decent Fab Eggs started showing up and there's even more elaborate stuff coming out now. Some of it's zany and functionally poor but A for Effort anyway, lol.

I got the mini-klein bubbler today, which only ended up taking a week to get to me in Canada. Looks and feels solid just like the mini-fab. Function is okay and feels a bit like a mini D-cycler but there's no vortex on the drain and the water flow isn't that smooth though the hit is. Basically it would work okay if it were my only piece but the piece could have been made functionally better. I'll play with the water level a bit but it doesn't recycle if you go too low and too high gives you water in the mouth.

Next up is the CCG-FTK which will hopefully have a bit better function.

maybe they are setting up an authorized reseller in the west coast in US?

Overall I feel like the build quality and diffusion is better on the GB-187-S over the D020-W, although they are both nice pieces. I still suggest going for the GB-187-S. I've had one for over a year now and love it
I have had this background desire to get the GB187-S. I had gotten the FC187 and it came broken. Steven replaced it with one that worked, but had a bad perc so only worked "ok" and I didn't bother getting another replacement. I had shelved it, but brought it back to use with Venus whose airflow made it "OK". When Yimgmin5 came out with his version (he was the one we originally asked to make this) I was tempted, but didn't go for it.

Recently Yingmin5 has emailed me reintroducing himself (with a discount) and I have been tempted to order it again. It's been a while since I have bought any glass. I THOUGHT if I came back to get something it might be the CCD recycler. Maybe it will be the GB187-S instead...

Anyone else hear from @freesmoke (a.k.a. yingmin5)? He PM'd me this morning to say that he had reduced prices on some items ("such as gb-187,gb-186") and also that he was interested in new ideas we had to offer him.

I used to order there, but I haven't ordered from him since my GB-187 broke right at the joint in my hand while I was holding it by the mouthpiece. Maybe I will give him another shot. It did work well for the week I had it in 1 piece lol. I figured that was my fault for holding it that way but the joint could have been stronger.

Maybe we should start the opposite thread called "Expensive, Shitty Bongs for too much money".

Does anyone else think this turbine HT is a little wonky for $150? Hell, I would be a little disappointed if a $35 Chinese piece looked this bad. This turbine is the most tilted perc
I have ever seen.

Saw that in the Evo thread also and yeah I would def be pissed about that. That is low quality at a high price. I would contact them on it. I think at $150 you should be getting a top notch tube like others have. That is the main reason I did not order the hydrabomb when it was onsale for $100 during there 4/20 sale . I just did not want to take the chance , I ordered some elbs during the sale and they are all loose and don't fit properly , luckily I am being sent two extra at no charge that should fit.

Since he has sent out unsolicited messages to members, his account has been blocked. He won't be sending out anymore spam, and I apologize if any of you got such a message from him. If you would like to contact him, I would suggest doing so through his DHGate store.

I have been questioning the quality of their most recent models especially since the downsize. I wouldnt be upset if my $35 bubbler came with that poor of a weld but I also dont hold it by the mouthpiece and try to minimize pressure when cleaning. But now that hydratube is not built to last imo and the threshold of breakage looks to be considerably lowered by this flaw in the glass blower's technique. I wouldnt mind buying a US TUBES made hydratube because they have thick great quality glass, and know how to properly put it together.

So the CCG FTK came today and I am so surprised. Since I'm planning on selling one of these pieces I haven't vaped through either (and the CCG has been here for like an hour) but done water tests. steven's which I posted a photo of elsewhere in the thread is much smaller, like a lot. I might like that size better (I have small hands), it vortexes on the drain and has 3 med holes in the Klein and a different perc at the bottom.

The CCG is much bigger, has 4 small holes in the Klein and a less cut/more directional perc at the bottom. Looking in a mirror is does seem like occasionally it vortexes on a pull but vortexes on the drain like Stevens.

I'm not sure which of these I'm gonna sell yet (keep an eye on the classifieds, it'll be a good deal) but I'll post a smoke-less water test in a few days to show function. Unfortunately I'll be too busy till probably this time next week.

Also the CCG when I went to do an initial water test was filled with some sort off off-gas that was horrible but seemed gone after running water through it for a couple of minutes.

Thanks for posting the comparison pics, it's nice to have some perspective on the size and features of each.

Shipping from China seems to be crazy fast right now! My Wake and Bake recycler shipped out on the 23rd and it just cleared customs in Mississauga, Ontario ahead of my CCG-FTK which left on the 20th. It they're here by Thursday then it's 5 and 8 days of transit from the other side of the world! USPS Priority International to Canada in my experience takes a minimum of 5 days and up to to 2 weeks. If you go back even just a year or so ago it was still taking minimum a couple weeks for a lot of people in North America I believe.
