The triton has always been something I wasn't clear on. That and the universe cart.

Triton was ever evolving idea that we have multiple prototypes and this is the latest, if it works out it will be in production.

The Universe cartridge started as a doughnut and evolved into a herbal cartridge with cyclone technology then just abandoned because it just didnt work to our specs.

So what's the triton, other than that pic?

Hi All. I have not visited for a while and I am sure the answer is somewhere in these 1267 pages but I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what has happened to the Persei and 8? I went up onto the W9Tech site and could not find either (well the Persei is still there but out of stock). I was looking to buy another one just to completely future proof myself but they are gone.

W9 Tech has sold every last Persei kit that we have available and none exist until we complete our new Persei model.

However we can still help out with the 8 Mechanical Mod, both Brushed and Polished are in stock at www.oilvaporizer.com for only $79.99 (no batteries or cartridges). These are a great mech mod for our transition to 510 as they can run all of our cartridges both 601 and 510 threaded, and if you want something strong enough to survive the apocalypse I do think the stainless steel 8 is it! Also useful as a club in case wasteland scavengers bother you during the purge...

Thanks Sam. I think its time for an 8! Thanks for the link.

New Persei will be temp control, so dont write it off yet either ;)

Can't wait for the new persei/8 boxes. Not looking to start a discussion about it in the persei thread, but I haven't been too impressed with trying out tc so far and I'm hoping they will finally show me how great it is.

The thought of proper TC for the ceramic elements and Ti wire that I use (I have only seen devices with algorithms for grade 1 Ti) definitely has me excited.

Thanks for pointing that out, i actually have one of these and i guess i didnt pay attention to the name on the box haha, but we have been using the name Triton for a long time on this thread for a project, cant really stop progress if the name is already taken, but im guessing it will make the name "Triton" stand out more.

I recently starting using my Nibbler AC more heavily after I picked up a KISS AC v2. I've had intermittent problems with clogging. The issue seems to be that the distance between the inner glass and outer glass in the Nibbler AC is very short. You can actually see the surface tension on the water and air bubbles as it is squeezed through some parts of it. This makes it very easy for even a small amount of splatter/reclaim to gunk up the air path.

I haven't had this problem with the other Nibblers I own (XL, G, GN, U). Anyone else experienced this issue? It is causing me to have to clean the Nibbler AC with iso almost daily. :(

I have also experienced some clogging but only after heavy use.
One other thing I have noticed......I have totally shredded my o-rings when removing the AC nibbler, it really is a snug fit.

Did you regularly see things like air bubbles trapped between the inner and outer glass walls? I'm wondering if my Nibbler AC is just unusually narrow.

TBH I have not noticed, but now that you bring it up I am going to look the next time I use it.

I have noticed that my Nibbler AC gets clogged easily (although I am lazy about cleaning it). Also I have had water leak back into the ceramic cup twice, but I don't know if I did something to cause that.

This happens for me when the cart is clogged/cold. If I take it off after making sure I can breathe through it, I have no issues.

I use the w9 version of the ac with the ring on it so I just screw/unscrew the vape into it. I have a ac v2 coming though which I guess won't be able to use the ring.

I appriciate the feed back. @elmoe420 , @MaxVapor could you please do me a favor and send pictures of the clogging to support@w9tech.com so we can gather information about this issue? A big help would be if you could pour as much water as you can get out of the nibbler, I realize it may clog and not allow all the water to drain easily, do your best and anything you can do to show the issue will help us find the cause. Thanks.

Hey Sam, it is tough to get a good shot because a phone camera can't do macro photography very well. I cleaned my Kiss AC again yesterday but it is already clogged again.

When I first got my Persei, I paired it with the ACv1 and I couldn't get the dual coil atty to fire with the 7.4v set up. I was told that the version top that I had wasn't capable of doing so.

Fast forward to today, and I'm still using the same dual coil atty but in the 3.7v set up. It was working for a while, but recently it wouldn't properly vape my concentrates. So I decided to try the 7.4v configuration and it fired.

Anyone have any ideas?

The coil may have increased in baseline (cold) resistance due to use, and now is within the correct resistance range to fire properly. You could check this theory if you happened to have a multimeter to test the resistance of the coil.

@elmoe420 That's a pretty clear picture, thanks for sharing and your willingness to help us improve. Could you email me a photo taken from "inside" (the coil chamber looking outwards at the clogs/buildup) support@w9tech.com , and please include your order number in the email for me to link up. Thanks!

Thanks for the info @SamuraiSam. I do not have a multimeter. But would the general idea be just to test it at rest? Before it's been fired?

Does this harm the cart at all?
