Killer purchases. VC is nuanced, despite it's simplicity. Daisy experience will vary depending on your lighter -- with the torch dialed in, it's the best vape on the planet, IMO. Milaana will get hot and provide vapor within seconds, even when your Daisy's torch is acting janky!

Sorry, I can fix that. I missed two for Oregon and through PM we have verified one is yours!

It appears yours was shipped on the 18th. All of these within the US seem to be shipping UPS ground so those on the West Coast will need more patience for shipping.

So true, a killer threesome. I will say where Milaana may have an edge over a butane vape is mainly single handed use, don't have to look at the flame, easier for TV and movies in my experience. But Daisy is a true beast and VapCap is in a class of its own as well. Also just got my Heat Island finally and it is glorious (photos in that thread). Alan actually made me an 18mm cork cap for Milaana plus a stacked screen cork/glass stem to try with Milaana and Zion as well... Will share when I can test em next week, but I am already really digging the cork cap even if it's not so necessary honestly

Well to me it's simple, in my country everyone who saw my VapCap and how it works (would be similar or even worse with Daisy/Lily) made a remark that it looked like a crack pipe and couldn't even imagine using it in public or any social setting. My VapCap is just a backup for the zombie apocalypse or if I'm off the grid for a long while (which basically never happens since I have some power banks)

To me (and it's my opinion, no need to beat me to death heh) using a flame when you finally fucked combustion for good feels nonsensical and two steps backwards. I'm so glad I don't need to care anymore if I got enough gas in my ligher, enough rolling paper and tobacco... anything that reminds me the old habit.

The mi did arrive late yesterday. Im going to say that it's a very enjoyable experience. The beauty in the mi is just how simple it is. It's fun as hell to use. I honestly have no complaints in this simplistic design. Install battery load stem push button pull like hell. That was my first go round.
I can say I got about 3-4 stems on a battery before I wanted to swap the battery. It definitely felt like it had more life in her. It was at 3.7 when I put it on the charger.


Edit: almost forgot to give @nosmoking his props for giving a helping hand to his fellow FC'ers. Kudos.

I agree. When I first noticed it, I posted to the mods to remove the revealing information from the post that led me to be able to see everyone's tracking because if I really was trying I could use it to identify city and state for users which I thought would be bad since many users do not include their location below their avatar. I felt this may be sensitive information that some may not feel comfortable with everyone knowing. You do have to feel comfortable with me knowing unfortunately but I have been making sure to follow FC rules as I disperse information to help you all feel more comfortable giving a perfect stranger the location of the city/state you live in.

@KeroZen I agree completely with your sentiments about the VapCap looking like a crack pipe as well as wanting to get away from flame. I think the Daisy/Lily is more akin to look like a pot pipe here so I don't think it would get as bad a stare down. I would love to get away from carrying lighters too. In fact I only carry one as a backup with my VapCap right now. At home though, I find my Butane vapes to be my best so I can't get away from the flame....one day maybe...of electric supreme I dream!

But you still need to carry batteries or remenber to charge them! I understand your concerns, a lighter, especially a torch is not stealth, is dangerous for children (if lost) and maybe for yourself .... but it's definitly a very interesting heating source for quick "on-demand" hits and high temp vaping. If the Milaana can match that I would be very, very happy!

Although my flame powered vapes stay at home, I like to use them but not on the go, a Storm/Focus/Inhalater/Prima/Alfa/HipVap/whatever else is a better option if you get a fully charged battery in or in your pocket.

I'm waiting for Mila now!

So glad to see the Milaana getting in the wild and also just to see this getting off of RBT's plate. I think at this point I honestly may be more anxious for the next update than I am for my Milaana. Some have not been too happy about the way RBT does things and I get it, but I also pay attention (a lot) and I understand what it takes to make such big things happen. His updates have really been stellar if you think about growing a company from scratch. He has made some very big strategic moves all with the risk of losing or costing him and his family a lot of what he has worked very hard for in his life to achieve for them. I can't wait to see the next big move.

It seemed like he had quite a bit stocked up for us but I'm not sure.
Seems the latest order date was early January. I wonder if there were more September - January than there were January - March

The Milaana's have always been shipping UPS. RBT used USPS previously with the Zion but all the new Milaana's are going UPS.

@AJS I am not sure if there is a formal order or not. I have been asking those who received tracking info from me their order date. I can tell you the order dates I have seen tracking for so far span from 9/1/15 to 2/3/16 possibly.

I'm not sure why UPS was chose. For the bulk of domestic shipping in the US, USPS would be a better solution. They can be sticklers sometimes with Lithium batteries but even UPS has policies on those too. USPS would be cheaper for @RastaBuddhaTao on the wallet, and Priority Mail is far quicker to the West Coast than UPS Ground. USPS offers free shipping Priority Mail supplies that can be delivered to wherever fulfillment happens and orders with Priority Mail are automatically insured for $50, UPS insures $100 in the base price but the price is probably double or more what USPS would be.

Overseas, UPS can get a lot more expensive than USPS when it comes to handling fees, import taxes, duty, VAT etc.

I own the vapman and lily as well as a few other torch vapes. Getting to know them and their intricacies is always fun. Thanks for the advice. I've got a dozen or so torches and a case of colibri, my body is ready!

I'll concede the OG vapcap looks quite crackpipe like, not so much on the others. Fire is simply superior to electronics at making heat. My little old lily makes an LSV seem weak with proper technique and I can fit it in my pocket. If electrics could actually keep up I might see some validity in "the two steps back" comment.

I sincerely only ordered my Mi because I heard so many butane vape comparisons. I knew if people who have been to the dark side are making these claims surely there's some power under the hood! To each his own.

Its so possible. Could be executed in a safer and far more aesthetically pleasing design since the heatexchanger wouldn't need to be exposed. I really hope Ed is seriously pursuing it. :worms:

I think you are wrong on the costs. Standard flat rate USPS shipping that you describe would be $6.95. I bet ground shipping is about $3-4 only even to LA. I did not know UPS insures $100 in the base price which is another good reason for RBT to use UPS. Now he has full coverage or almost full coverage on all Milaana's.

You are correct in timing as priority mail makes sure everything is delivered within 2-3 days even coast to coast but that is a really small box at the $6.95 price and I could see RBT having trouble making everything fit and making sure it was secure enough for safe travel/handling. The next size up is twice as much in cost so that would be 3-4 times the cost of UPS.

I don't personally know him but I can easily gather that RBT is really smart and he does think things out first.

As I said before he plans to build 50 a week for now, so this week saw about that much, next week should see the same, and may catch up to all orders, unless a lot more start flowing in creating a backlog like VapCap

I believe there were more January - March but at 50 a week RBT should have us all taken care of next week I would think because if you recall he started counting Milaana's sells for us in the middle of February and at the end of March only about 40 had sold. I figure there is about 40 before those as well considering there was about 20-25 people who posted that they ordered if you go back and search the thread from Sept 1st to middle of Feb.

Hopefully I will see more ship out today and if so I will surely let you all know.

Ordered end of October I think. Long weekend here so 100% won't have a thing till Tuesday, if international have even shipped.

We're preorders PayPal? Can't see anything in my PayPal and have changed cards since so not sure how to confirm. Also new email... Mmmmm. I'm sure I ordered it, was in the shitter at work so wasn't even baked.

I don't have time for a full report right now, but briefly, I like the Milanaa very much. Managing the heat takes some learning but once you start getting comfortable with it, it becomes a very powerful and very controllable vape. I have been using it direct AND through water and both are working quite well. I said nothing about it early as I got too stoned from testing. ;)

Like learning the Lotus, using Milanaa through water is helpful in managing vapor until one starts to get more confident managing the heat ranges. I have NOT combusted, tho I have done some scorching. Then again, I like to get my ABV dark, so I often end up scorching with all my vapes.

So far I think this is going to be a fantastic vape, but I don't expect it to supplant Venus, my Zion. The control ability of the Zion is a plus, as is its double battery, and its bulk is not a problem for me at home. Milanaa will be much more pocketable and portable for going out and about but the unregulated heat WILL require me to think while hitting, a combination unnecessary with Zion. That should become second nature over time, but it is a thing.

@nosmoking UPS rate starts at $8 for 2 zone. The only ones getting a rate as low as $3-$4 would be BIG customers moving hundreds if not thousands of packages per month. If RBT has a box that he is shipping Milanna with, he could throw it inside a USPS Flat Rate Padded Envelope for the same price as Small Flat Rate Box. USPS Flat Rate Padded Envelopes are free, and using Stamps.com or Endicia could get some savings off that $6.95 rate depending on his volume, it could be worth it. He doesn't need to insure for full value, he needs to insure to cover loss, damage, which would be his cost, not ours.

Regardless, I look forward to when you'll let me know when a Milaana is coming to Vermont! Thanks for tracking the tracking!

Especially because I know how Daisy/Lily/Vapman/Lotus and even VapCap users genuinely love their devices. I get that don't worry! :tup:

It's just that in my very own social circle and the places/events I attend, using for a prolongated period (ie. more than a fraction of second) anything with a lighter and even worse a torch is just a no go. Not going to happen, not at my age. If I was still in my 20's, attending some free party in an abandonned building, yes no problem. But now... not so much.

But what matters is that we can all enjoy the Mighty Plant our own way.
