Omni with wooden mouthpiece?!

I think George's pics are of a dressed up Ti Woody and Omni. The one with the wood mouth piece is a Ti Woody with a Blackwood short body and wood mouthpiece. And, the one with the Ti mouthpiece is an Omni wearing the short Blackwood body.

Just taking perfection and dressing it up with the optional short body. Stunning!

That's what I was thinking as well, it's just a woody with the Ti shell. But a man can dream and with the way George innovates, ya just never know!!

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help

Guys, I think you're talking about the wrong post/picture: @Kevea s pic clearly shows an Omni with a wooden mouthpiece. There's no blackwood in the pic...

@Kevea Where's that pic from??

Clearly shows an Omni BODY... but could easily be an XL condenser in there (designed for full length body and a wooden or pastic mouthpiece), and not a wooden omni mp -- Omni wooden mp would be longer, and would need a threaded part installed inside to work with the omni condenser, if I understand correctly how the omni operates.

Well, the mouthpieces are coming.

Made out of this rather cool chunk of Australian oh my gosh burl.

IMG_20160326_195030894_zpsay85bqfx.jpg

Other woods, and well some other cool things coming too, all interchangeable of course.
And then there was this pretty sight.

IMG_20160324_074735661_zpsgfuuoo8k.jpg

I don't know why, but the sight of freshly machined, high precision titanium is just awesome to me. I find myself shaking my head a bit sometimes when I think about how this thing is evolving. This titanium tip for example has a few dimensions where the tolerance needs to be within 0.002" or 0.05mm or it just won't fit. All this to extract vaporized compounds from a sample. :). I love it!

Oh and the short blackwood body fits the OmniVap too.

IMG_20160329_212204051_HDR_zpszofdxgar.jpg

The blackwood is so hard and tight grained it polishes like metal. There is no finish on this!

So to conclude, I am building and shipping, but please be patient. I can't believe how fast this is growing and I am expanding as fast as I can
I hope to be less than a week out on order fulfillment by next week.

More cool stuff coming.

Cheers,

George

These are the pics we were referring to:

The top, first pic is a dressed up Ti Woody with a Blackwood short body and wood mouthpiece in place of the stock longer wood body with no mp.

And,

The bottom one is an Omni wearing that same short Blackwood body.

I am so blown away with the modular design. It's like some kind of heaven sent LEGO!!! Choose your components, build your body, pick your poison and vape away...

I'm so excited! I got the:
- original glass Vapcap,
- the Ti Woody Cocobolo and
- the Omni, which includes a spare glass body,
- a spare short wood black body,
- a wood mouthpiece and the
- XL condenser with included wood tip

This is what I think I can do with these three Vapcaps:

ORIGINAL GLASS VAPCAP
- use the original VC stock. Pretty cool. If I lose I will be able to carry on.
- change out the glass condenser for the XL Condenser with wood tip (also known as the newly launched Vapcap S). Really nice. Stylish.

Ti WOODY
- use the woody as is, stock. Beautiful daily driver. Impress friends and relatives or even strangers on the street. LOL
- take out the stock condenser and slip on the XL Condenser with attached wood mp. It's longer now. You just added 17 mm of mouthpiece. Elegant King Size vapper
- change out the stock long wood body for a wood short body and slip on a wood mp over the stock condenser. Now we are getting somewhere! You're going out in style and your mp spins to boot.

OMNIVAP
- use the Omni as is, stock. Infinately adjustable air resistance. Stunning, indestructible, top of the line.
- change out the Ti body for the glass body. Oh, la la...
- change out the Ti body for a wood short body. Black tie affair.

That's 8 outstanding configs from three. I am sure there are many more combinations given the other available components and wood options.

This is WAYYY better than LEGO ever was.

The mouthpiece would go with the short body. The XL condenser would go with the long body. You can't just add the mouthpiece to a regular Woody without swapping to a short body or the longer condenser. You'll still have all the parts you need to make the configurations you're talking about, though.

Is there a recommended torch lighter that anyone would recommend? I want a single flame to play with temp and technique.

The pic was taken directly from DynaVap's Instagram.

It is either indeed the Omni with a wooden mouthpiece or it is a Ti woody with the shorty standard Ti Omni body, the standard SS condenser, and one of the new wooden mouthpieces.

Yes, right you are. I just got overly excited while mulling over the possibilities. I emailed George before I ordered. Here is his explanation which clearly, as you pointed out, places the XL with long bodies and creates the longer king size version and mouthpieces with the short bodies.

From George "The mouthpieces work with existing condensers and the short body or I have an XL kit which includes a mouthpiece and a longer condenser to work with the standard wood stems and extends the length 17mm. The short body is in cocobolo and blackwood."

Sorry for the confusion....but, oh boy, I can't wait to start playing.

Once we all get our pieces, the question is, "how will you vap today?"

@VapCap hey george are your vapcaps ready to ship? I noticed the other day on your website that you had an influx of sales. And you mentioned shipping may be delayed a bit. And I missed your 420 sale  yesterday.

I have to add how impressed I am with @VapCap's responsiveness & I am a huge advocate for engaged & responsive manufacturers. Such a refreshing difference to the crickets you get from other manufacturers. All I wanted to do was add a couple of condenser tubes & storage tubes to my existing order & he responded within 6 hours with how to do it!

If I like these enough I will certainly be ordering a Ti woodie & based off numerous opinions over the last 30 pages of this thread I see no reason why I won't be ordering one.

Yeah what makes the omnivap the omnivap, is really just the mouth piece/condenser tube, which is really the only piece I would want.

Not extremely fond of the all Ti body and enjoy the sleek and sexiness of the wood bodies the most.

@VapCap are the omni mouth piece/condenser ever going to be available for purchase separately? A long with the VonG and wood bodies?

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I need advice on attaching the newest Ti tip version to a standard woodie body with a metal collar. I have popped mine off once or twice and have had difficulty getting it back in. I found that it is difficult to press the tip back on because the o rings on the Ti tip don't like to pop into the body. It seems that twisting the tip gets it to reattach better but that seems to mash and cut up the o rings. Now I have to order more o rings. Is there a better way?

had the same issue, needs must lube the orings. I use spit. >_> Although with use it seems to have gotten easier. Mine slides right on now most times without needing lubing

I swear by the Soto Pocket Torch . It is one flame , always does a good job for me , and so convenient ! You don't have to keep a can of butane laying around , no messy refills , just insert a scripto disposable lighter in it , and go . I got it at REI camping goods .

The old condensers and new tips don't work too great together IME. I think the new tip is tapered inside. Could possibly be your problem.

George said he's got new condensers modified to fit, but with my new tip and older wood body with condenser is like it's plugged. Only way I personally can use my new tip is with the XL condensers.

mastermind behind the great Vapor Caper
So even though I missed the 4/20 sale I decided to place an order yesterday anyways. Wanted to show some support to what seems to be a great product made by a stand-up manufacturer.

Then I checked my order details & saw that for shipping I selected "add to previous order." Jeez, can I do anything correct?...

When I placed my last order I got stuff for other people as well as myself. The couple of people who asked me to get them Glassy's have readily adopted the VC grin.
@Ruta will be round later today to get some turning done for his new stem and myself, well I can't help myself, when it comes to 'what shall I make now', it's got a little on the obsessive side. Which of course isn't helped when the most excellent @VapCap sends you out something extra to play with.
Thanks George.

A very, very nice looking black cap. Looks the part and works in the same way as the plain SS. The finish is amazing and heat has not changed it at all. I've got some more 'testing' to get done and will be getting back to George with my findings.
Z1DtIQK.jpg

The top one is my new 7 fin tip with another custom body. The MP is a piece of the Lacewood. I had a problem with the stem I made so rather than bin it, it got used in a different way. Also Teak with the sexy as black cap.

Well two ways in fact. The bottom one is the other piece of failed Lacewood with a short SS sleeve.
It's gone to a friend who has an OG. I put this together so he can use his new 7 fin tip whilst we work out how he wants his stem to look. He is more than happy with it and since we sorted out his torch it's become his DD. Picture quality isn't the best sorry folks.
JGqSknh.jpg

I also received a spinny MP. Which is also very good. I can grip the wood with my ring finger and palm allowing the other two to turn the brass body. Another cracking little idea.
UCwB9WV.jpg

I've used the brass so I can gauge the amount of heat transfer for some other future possibilities. Plus it is easy to work with and the Ti tips fit perfectly. The SS condenser means no hot vapor comes into contact with the brass.

As I've said before 'more to come'.

I did that on one of my two 4/20 orders, and emailed George through the contact page on the site and he had me put in a new 'contribute to the cause' order for $7 to cover shipping.

I don't know what I was thinking (and realized my mistake right away so emailed George)...I had a previous order, but I received it in March :)
