I was just able to put a walnut daisy in my cart and apply the 420 discount. Didn't finalize order though.

Yes sir, @stickstones you are correct. I picked it up from Vaporstore. I also used the "420day" coupon code. Combined with some loyalty points I had the price shipped ended up being $141.75.
I've been wanting a Daisy for a long time and thought I had missed my chance. When I saw the final price I couldn't not order it.

They raised their price $40 ($60 on the daisy?) on both about 2 months ago after I bought my lily for $80. Buying the daisy after the price hike hurt, it hurt bad. Eventually worrying it would go out of stock got the better of me and I am not sad I caved.
The daisy really keeps pace with or exceeds a lot of vapes and I really, really wish I could be giving my money to triihouse instead. I would have loved to see any new stuff they designed too, I'm super drawn to this style. It's the main reason I started getting into wood/torch vaping.

Yes same here just on a whim and a good price I think 90.00... I was " early" on the Daisy train. I do miss this type of vape tech. Ultimate end of elec tech. I hope that the drive and the vape space comes out with a "new" torch Daisy.

I seem to have a bad case of VAS
So I just ordered this as my first butane vaporizer, cherry wood and I can hardly wait until it arrives, with the help of @nondarb. I would love any advice on which torch to use and any heating technique.
@WakeAndVape, I believe I watched a couple of your videos already and they were very helpful. Do you have any preference on how to best clean and maintain this unit?

I think as far as torch technique, the size of the flame and the distance from the intake play the biggest part. Also you want to listen for the whistle. Beat way to maintain this unit is to keep it clean!
Fortunately its super easy: screens can be soaked, torched or discarded.
the glass stems require a quick wipeout with HOT water and a paper towel.

There was a user guide in the previous pages.... I think the torch size is at 2"( advanced users have been seen with only 1") keep the flame out of the intake pipe and draw slow for high heat.... I think I may have it right but the Daisy train was strong with the wake and vape..

I probably should have read this thread first lol. I was a little too excited. Is there a specific torch that works best? I also heard that certain butane purity is better, is that true? And what percentage is best?

Well there is a belief that the purest butane is the cleanest method. I agree, but no study has been completed on this. Vector is the one I use filtered 5times or more. I use 3 different torches for different effects.... One for punch, one for taste, and one that's in the middle. But you will find the "one" like others have on here. Just experiment.... You will not be disappointed.
