I got my 3rd battery(2 replacements) and all is well. Went to use the ceramic donut atty and again the leaking coming out of the vent holes. Pretty dissappointed. This has happened with 3 different types of stuff. Very happy with the customer service - Like the 3 attys and much about this pen but I'm done trying to use the ceramic atomizer.

Team NO SLEEP!
had to look it up and it looks awesomely functional.

My only question: does the butter cutter come with any type of cap to put over the tool end? If it does, and it is pocketable, I'll order tonight. I'd use it on the run for my pens (I can heat a tool briefly on a nail at home for similar effect).

Budder Cutter just came in about to break it open and check it out will report back!

*Edit

Just tested it out!... Well only the ballpoint atm as I just have a sharp ended tool I was using before so I wanted to give it a go and it seems to do the job so far!

I will get more pictures up here in a minute and possibly try out some of the various tips.

Just some general first impressions;

It's neat that it uses a ghost battery as I have one of those laying around here somewhere but that also adds some heft and a little bulk where you hold it which to me feels nice I like weighty objects feels more secure and you get a better hold/control with it IMO.

The heat does seem pretty well maintained/controlled as they have it stated I haven't seen it get to hot on me yet. (unless I repeatedly get it hot by pressing the button; which I haven't done I'm just guessing)

@Dr.Dabber
I think since there is still external threading on the battery you should see if you can get some sort of cap made for the device so you can screw it on for on the go carry.

screw on cap; possibly a little pouch/case so you can bring the included tips as well.

Fkn0wned,
So I am absolutely in love with my boost and am thinking about purchasing the Aura today with the St. Pats Day 20% special. This will be my first pen vape ( I ordered a grasshopper almost a year ago and am still waiting) but I wanted to make sure it is worth it. I have seen some complaints on this forum regarding the Aura but if you had to do it all again would you still buy? If not what would be a good suggestion? Also A mass majority of my product will be home made Rosin, Does this make a difference?

Level 30 Nature/Healer
MFLB battery caps and Arizer stem caps work on the attys rather well for travel.

I am really liking the device and preferring how clean it is over my NYX. Only complaint is that the mouthpiece came with some chipping and all round doesn't look very new.

Loving my Aura, I've had it about 6 weeks and use it almost daily. I can't compare it to any other pens because I haven't tried any... I use QWISO and rosin in mine, works well with both of them. Yes, I would buy again.

I'm still wondering where you can buy replacement parts like mouthpieces and batteries from in the UK, Vapefiend only sells replacement attys...

We are on West Coast time now so we are available 10-5 pst. Unfortunately once you put in an order you cannot add to it at the moment, but if you put in a new order we can wave the shipping fee.
Dr, Dabber I saw your ealier posts in this thread and I would like to get the ghost with the extra items with the deal you offered. Are you excepting dealers? I have friends in the recreational market in the Seattle area and they are looking for quality products to sell.

jaybjorn,
Ordered a boost during the St Paddy's day sale. I live in Canada. Yesterday it was in Canada and said customs clearance and then processed through facility. Today it said departed from LOS ANGELES. :bang:

So close... :(

Looks like I'll have to wait another week.

I just don't think it will work, I know it might
My Aura seems to be combusting on the highest setting, I am using some reclaim and it tastes horrid. Assuming this is what is affecting it ?

Reclaim never taste nice, especially in a pen. Be careful cause your Aura will never taste good if you vape too much reclaim with..;

Thanks, yeah I am just getting into concentrates. Overall have not been the biggest fan doesn't taste as good as pure flower.

To_thy_cloud,
Which brand battery does everyone use on the Boost? I bought a Samsung 25R and it doesn't quite fit when the unit is closed.

Hi,
Does anyone know what it means when you get three red light flashes from battery when trying to take a hit.
It's a fully charged battery, works fine with donut atomiser but with either coil atomiser, the normally battery light comes on for 3/4 seconds, then 3 red flashes and off.
Something to note, each coil was working fine, loaded with higrade shatter which melted fine. At the point of loading it would hit fine. after leaving the shatter to cool and harden, next time I've tried to use the pen and I get the fault above.
Does it simply mean the carts are dead? This is good that it is clearly signalled. Bad as I'd only used each cart twice and neither coil atomiser works!
Any ideas?

It does sound like a battery issue, in which case we have a no questions asked warranty. Please email info@drdabber.com for more help

Just had two atomizers die on me pretty fast, Is there a way to repair these ?

Im about at my wits end with the Aura. I had the original ghost pen about a month after it came out years ago and had great results with it but with the Aura I get more concentrate coming out the mouth piece than vapor. as soon as a glob comes out, it produces some average vapor, clogs within a few pulls, repeat.

I started with the donut, and was loving the flavor, but after a few days it seemed like there was a big pool around the donut that refused to disappear although i was still getting vapor.

Then onto the quartz rods, which seemed great but soon enough the clogging started that i mentioned firstly. switched to ceramic rods and the same clogging bs.

I dont put too much in just the average pea size as with all pens. i really hate buying $100 things that dont work well.

I was planning on getting a 5 pack of the donuts atomizers but theres way too many flaws with this thing. the battery constantly needs to be charged and gets hot quickly as well with minimal vapor production.

damn and i really liked the magnetic chambers

Just some info to help out any potential buyer who doesnt have time or money to mess around.
