Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

covercash

Cloud EVO + MFLBPA
Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but you can only use one code at a time. We aren't importing electronics from China and reselling and don't have the same types of margins that many of our competitors do. While that is not a problem for you guys as consumers, for us, we need to make sure that we can keep the lights on and the company running. We are not trying to be a Pax in this industry where we are making a device for the masses, ours is a niche product designed for the cannabis connoisseur which is a much smaller audience. I am not trying to make it seem like we are a victim because we love what we do, just wanted to explain why we can't do massive deals or have multiple coupon codes at once.

With that said, I hope everyone really has a happy 420 and I'll be doing some live streaming at about 3:30 pm Pacific at https://www.facebook.com/seibo/
Really, an EVO at any of the prices in the past few months is a STELLAR deal - it's such a worthwhile purchase. I don't really align with the extreme sport marketing, but the fact that you are super into it and have a vision to combine 2 of your passions in life is pretty awesome in my book. So keep on rocking sustainable margins while providing an awesome product and experience!

Hey SM55, thanks for popping in to respond. Can you clarify/respond to my question posted earlier in the thread? Basically, I would just like to confirm that the starter kits currently available on the site, if purchased without the 420SUPER coupon code accessory bundle, will include the nails/baskets normally available with the starter kit? Or will those not be included? Not questioning your reasoning, I'm just trying to confirm one way or the other!

@UnidenWallet was correct in his assessment that you get 5 total nails and 4 total ELBs. I'll have our marketing team clarify, apologies for that.

BTW - If anyone is in the bay area, we will be at Harvest this afternoon so come check us out.

twosilvertrees - see UnidenWallet's post, the Vapexhale team confirmed that if you order the Cloud without the 420 code, it will come with the accessories it typically does:

YOU ARE THE MAN @UnidenWallet

@twosilvertrees see unidens post above for more clarification. According to VXH the starter pack only comes with the 2 elbs and 1 nail if you don't redeem the 420super pack. So really it's 2 elbs and 4 nails in the 420super pack, not sure why they don't just say that.

VapeXsupport replied:
****,

Sorry to have missed you earlier today on the livechat, I hadn't heard from my directors until now.

If you just purchase the starter kit and don't enter the 420SUPER code, you will receive the starter kit with the normal accessories.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns

Sincerely,
VapeXsupport

As far as I know, that is how it's always been. When I bought a kit last sale I didn't get the standard 2 ELBs and 1 nail on top of the extras. The ELBs didn't bother me as much as the missing nail and now I wish I could order just a single nail since I managed to break one while cleaning it...just kind of crumbled in my hand while I was scrubbing it with a nylon test tube brush) :(

Damn you, party liquor
Happy 4/20 to one and all!

Looks like the final day of the VXL 420 Daily Deal thingy is free shipping today!

They also have a code for 15% off: 420LOVE all week.

I think this decides it: I'm getting more ELB's!

@gaseous_clay Genius! I wouldn't have even thought about ELBs had you not mentioned it. Order placed. $17 total with free shipping. Hard to pass up.

I've been exclusively using glass for decades now and the reality is that sometimes a piece just isn't as strong as expected through no fault of anyone's. Could be the design of the nail, could be a manufacturing defect, but the other 4 nails that came in the 5 pack are fine (*knocks on wood*). I can say that I didn't break it by dropping or overzealous cleaning, but after a piece is used there's really no way for the blower to verify it wasn't user error so that's just part of the territory of using glass. I wouldn't use my statement to reconsider your plans, I'm still satisfied with my purchase. I was mainly clarifying that no one should expect any accessories beyond the pack's contents and I use the box to hold my nails so every time I look in the box and see an empty slot it annoys me all over again.

This is the setup that I want.
No fragile, expensive HT glass or a top-heavy evo.

What size do I need the ends of the whip to be?
I bet can I get that whip today as a 420 sale accessory somewhere!
A really easy fix to the Evo's weight related instability can be found with those sticky Velcro strips you can buy at CVS or any office supply store. I put Velcro strips on the bottom of the Evo and then put strips on my coffee table, making the Evo very stable there

You have or have not tried the quarts vape nail? Thank you
Have not.

It comes with glass, quartz is the big ticket item which I have not tried...

They are fragile so being careful is necessary. They work great though. I ordered extras just in case, plus it helps to have more because once one heats up you have to wait for it to cool to use it again. If you have more than one you just wait a minute or two for it to self clean and then it's ready to go with a new vxnail.

Quartz ones I'm sure are more durable, but until I find I am breaking these or I am missing out on a lot of performance from the glass ones I'm a happy camper.

Looking at this picture a second time and now I'm questioning what rig I want.
To clear the chamber with a setup like this I would have to pull the adapter off the top of the EVO wouldn't I?

Suddenly this setup seems like it would be awkward.

You could, but I think most people would lift it from the bubbler side. The hydratubes to me aren't as awkward as you think, you typically leave it off between hits or when not smoking. I thought I would need a HT stand, but it sets on my counter just fine, I'm just careful with it as I would be with any glass I like.

Either or. I pull off the EVO side so I can clear the whip. I've also just pulled the adapter out my piece to clear it. Taste difference is relatively negligible IMO either way. I always clear the whip if I'm just taking sporadic hits, and the fresh vapor coming into the whip evens out the taste on subsequent hits if I'm not clearing it and just the pipe.

It's not that awkward for me, but sometimes it can be. Keep the joint clean cause it's only awkward when it's sticky and doesn't come right up.

I don't want to say I'm a clutz.. but I have no doubt I'll break any piece of glass in a year or two.
I've had some pipes stand the test of time but never a bong.

Invest in a Pelican case, one of the greatest things I've ever bought. I actually just got new inserts for it, I have a pretty decent sized one, swapped in the new inserts, and assessed my glass....anything I couldn't fit in it, is up for sale, really wanted to pick my favorites.

Managed to fit 6 of em in there, out of 9 so not too shabby! You don't want to have them on top of each other, but you can get them pretty tight and safe still because the case I have is so deep. (1550)

I had to get new inserts, because I sold a lot of the glass that was in the prior inserts. Was cheaper glass, so I didn't mind the experiment, but I had the box sealed up with a handful of pieces, stood on top of it, and jumped up and down. I'm not a huge guy but I was certainly jumping! Glass was fine.

Yeah it's kind of a PiTA emptying out the water everynight and making sure it's dry and stashing it, but it's better for your health to change the water anyways and my roommates have cats and they are little pieces of shit lol, I am a dog guy (they are also legitimately annoying cats..I have found a few I like :) ) . I have woken to many a bowls and plates and other shit on the floor so a bong would just be no bueno just worth the peace of mind

They always break while I'm holding them though.
I'm amazing with my hands, but I love to party and it's not a good combination for fragile glass.

I was considering getting a plenty for most of my time here.. since it is more durable... but I like the ability to kill a bowl with the evo quickly and to have a water filter. It seems worth the risk and occasional cost of a bamboo replacement - only thing that would really suck is if the company went out of business and i couldn't replace the bamboo.

So the 420SUPER deal is: 5 extra herb baskets, 5 extra VapeXnails with the case, 5 useless silicone containers, and a useless dab tool.

Lame. And I can't even combine it with a 10% off code. I feel like I waited for nothing :(

The 420 deal is so awful I'm not even using it.

It's a better deal to have the 15% off, buy another pack of ELBs and pocket the extra cash back.
I waited a whole month to try to save money and I got free shipping.

Free shipping is better than nothing but man I wish I didn't waste a whole month waiting for this sale and being told what a great deal it would be.

They get my money anyway because I just placed an order.

A number of us didn't get the deal we wish we had. Eventually you will likely see a sale that makes you wish you had waited. That's life.

What is beautiful is that this is a fantastic vape that will really help put smiles on your face. You will not be disappointed in the vape. It's worth paying full price.

Well that really sucks.. I was planning on picking up the Quartz nails and the Nail Buddy for the 15% off but now since the Nail Buddy is out of stock, what would be the point since I don't have a cooling station to take advantage of using more than one nail at a time anyway? I think I'm going to pass on the $13.50 I'd be saving on those Quartz nails and just wait till the Nail Buddy comes back in stock so I can buy them both together.

Also, my only nail broke, it got so gunked up it was black all over. I'm now stuck with a gram of Crumble I'm forced to use with my old Vision two spinner and wax globe. I really wish VXH would consider selling these nails separately as well.

I guess I'm going wait even longer before my Evo gets any concentrate action again. :(

Also I had to ask this.. Has this happened to anyone else? The entire Vape X Hale logo is rubbing off the front of my Hydra Honeycomb? Has this happened to anyone else? I use Orange Chronic glass cleaner as I've never had any luck mixing salt and Iso myself. I've been using this stuff for years.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyone else had this happen? And if so, what are you using?

Thanks!

You could use an ashtray to rest your hot nails in. They are designed to withstand heat, and they have notches for cigarettes that would keep the nails from rolling around; just my :2c:. I wonder what happened to the CloudBuddy?

...that's a drag about those logos...
I recently had a grav lab gold logo rub off in my hand w/ hand soap and warm water...so they sent me a new one...same thing...so they sent a 10mm nano rig...which is horseshit considering the initial piece was over $300...so now I have 2 grav golds w/ out logos... to sell them off is difficult.
As for h.t.'s...I had a swagger side tree with no logo issues...but when I got my 2nd evo..I got the hydra-honeycomb w/ the new logos that were faded out of the box...almost looked used...this was during a difficult time for evo..around xmas..I had to return 2 evo tubes ..one tube locked up on the joint..one was loose...
...but both tubes,..imo were bulky,..bottom bloated thin pieces that were built quickly..
I quickly learned I preferred the unit inverted during the tube downtime.
....I remember when I first heard of an evo..it was the swagger tubes they used..the beefy,..gold logod' swaggers...nice glass.
..now i have no idea who blows they're glass.
...it might be worth it to fast forward the fading process and just scrub them off totally...that is if you can't get it replaced for its defect.
The waiting around for the inevitable coming fade out would drive me nuts.

lose the planetary mindset
My Symbiartic Chandelier came with the logo slightly faded/worn out of the box, but I guess it's not really a dealbreaker for me. Aside from that the logos on my Turbine and on my Chandelier have held up under some pretty vigorous washings, although I use ISO and powdered brewery wash. @Vital Can I ask how long you've had your tubes for?

Had a nightmare last night that I shattered the mouth piece on my Turbine HT and was legitimately devastated when I woke up this morning. So glad to see my baby in one piece!!

Hey, yep me too. I've had my Evo since Christmas and the lovely gold logo started to come off after the first wash - with warm water only, no soap or solvent.
8ChWDCM.jpg

I was pretty gutted actually because I really love my glass, and it makes it look a bit cheap, which it most certainly isn't.

Especially unimpressed as I have several very cheap Blaze Glass combustion pieces from years ago with silver logos which all still look as good as the day I bought them - and they have had some serious abuse.

But as you can see, the logo on the stem is still absolutely perfect. Go figure:shrug:
q1IiUS0.jpg

I was going to make contact at some point to see if there is anything that can be done - it obviously doesn't effect function, but I certainly expect better from a premium product at this top-end price range.

My Evolver Hydratree is etched in and looks fantastic. My swagger logo on the showercap has a couple dings on the labels but they've been through numerous cleanings with everything from PBW to ISO to simple green. I've made a point not to soak the label, but they have come in contact with all those solvents with no issue. My swagger side circ came with no label which looks pretty sweet as well.

While I like vapexhales logo in itself, if they want them on their house glass they need to find a better means of attaching it. A half rubbed off logo is worse than none at all. I have my own personal dislike of the new HT designs that aren't label related, but this sure doesn't help.

They would look awesome if they were etched into the glass. Then you could clean them with anything and not worry about it. And it would make them look classier IMO. Something besides a sidecar would be nice too, but anyway...

Edit: I see from the post above that they have had some etched logos...that's even worse. Perhaps the rush from all the sales forced them to speed things up and skimp on the labels? Only speculation, but I do think they should return to the etched versions.

...yea..most of my labels are either sandblasted or enamel that's baked onto the glass.
I bought a haze 2.5..stealth black when it debuted...I wiped it w/ damp cloth and all the black paint came right off...an hour after I got it.
It turned out the device was made in a totally differant location than the paint...after it was made it was sent off to another co. for paint...which obviously was shit....same thing on some mighty backplates...the shit scratches right off!!...s&b say it doesn't matter..the serial # is laser etched.
That's great for them...but what about the customer who's sporting your logos as advertising everytime it's looked at??...apparently free promotion thru logos doesn't phase some companies...because that's exactly what it is...advertising and promotion...of they're product thru your hands...I would think they would pay special attention to that detail...and besides...its ugly to the eye..my eye
