Starting with some pics.. Sorry these are old, I now have two silicone gaskets on each end.

Here is a more recent picture that shows the black gasket in place. For those curious I place the black gasket over the silicone gasket to ensure its a tight and snug fit. There is a good amount of resistance when trying to screw the head back on.

The only holes in that pinched tube are the intake and exhaust holes, if you're gasket is on properly the exhaust should be sealed and when a stem is placed front intake becomes sealed.

Does that help clarify it?

Perfectly!
So a Stainless Steel airpath with butane that exhausts out the top.
Air intake would be on the side.

Very interesting!

Got a used hammer the other day, I got super medicated and inexplicably cracked one of the stems I received near instantly. Realizing these would not do I proceeded to stick stuff in my hammer. With some left over tubing I managed to make my nano stems and "lock on". I only swapped tubing on the small end for now as I have an off sized solo gong that fits the standard hammer tubing.

Conduction mode is impressive, the taste signature is great very unique. Almost vapman like, which is pretty wild. I haven't mastered it by any means in either form, but I like it so far. Ordered another lock on ring and black gasket for the back.

Any tips or suggestions? More neat hammer hacks? This thing is crazy versatile and pretty easy to use as far as butane vapes go, I'm surprised it didn't get more popular!?

Hi, I'm not really sure if this is the right place for this, but I was wondering if any of you have experience ordering the Hammer from vaporseller.com. If so, can you confirm that the model that they sell is the newer PRO version of the Hammer.

Got my other lock-on set and black gasket for the back end the other day. Enjoying my hammer! The nano stems are my favorite.

I actually know this one! Yes, its the pro and its warrantied. BUT David at the hammer will price match if you ask him about it, I was very close to buying one when one showed up on classifieds.

He also was willing to cover warranty parts on my used hammer! So that says a lot about his customer service.

Mmmm! Forgot how great this thing was again!
Got myself in pre order blues and had to remind myself that on demandish convection is already out there, and I own a few! Haha.
Combusted at the end so boo, but only had one stem before the video and I remember the hammer being fincky with the flame back when it was getting more air time, got greedy at the end.
Might mess around with moving the screen a bit closer some how, because I had a little go with it conduction mode this morning and lord it got to temp quick, true on demand! Regular use convection I found the heat up a little long.

OK guys. I pulled out my hammer Pro last night for the first time in weeks. It seems like the warm up is taking too long and I can smell a ton of butane fumes which doesn't seem normal for a torch style flame. I have heard about adjusting the "Inner Dial". are you talking about getting a flat head and adjusting the valve at the bottom around the butane inlet? If so what am I looking to achieve exactly? It's had to tell since I can't see the flame but know that the butane small shouldn't be so strong with this vape. By the way I use extremely clean Whip-it premium butane that I also use for blasting BHO so I know it's not dirty tane with additives for smell! Can you guys explain exactly how to adjust this vape.

Can someone also explain to me the Conduction vs convection with this vape? Don't get me wrong, I understand the difference . I am just wondering how you achieve actual conduction vaping without putting the weed directly in between the metal plates like you do a dab. That can't be what you are talking about is it? I just assumed it was people inhaling while the flame was still going and calling that conduction, but that's still actually convection if the weed is in the glass and not the metal. Can someone shed some light on this for me please? Edit, never mind found a video!

That being said Do you guys still have the flame going when you begin to inhale? Mine seems to have too many fumes for that currently. So I just preheat for a long time, release the trigger and then inhale, but it takes forever that way.
Hammer gives insane hits and is sometimes overlooked in a butane vape collection when it shouldn't be! I need to remember to use it more, it's hard when I average a new vape a week lately...fucking VaS.

EDIT: DAMN!! Just saw this, I had no idea you could use it as a conduction vape. Going home to play tonight!! Do you guys ever double pack it for conduction and convection at the same time? And then maybe throw a dab on the back end for a triple shot!

Watch that heat in conduction mode! I don't particularly care for it but its a neat added novelty.

The inner dial is on the red dial around the middle of the unit. You will see it's got incremental indentions behind the dial you can work with your hand, grab a precision screwdriver and turn it to the right for more heat or left for less. Its more of a governor for the outer dial to set your temps.

The butane in this instance is isolated from the vapor path, the smell is because the flame is interrupted and not combusting all the fuel 100%. Don't think theres a way around it other than keeping nose away from the exhaust. With a little bit of silicone tubing you can make either end of the heat exchanger fit other stems. I've got the standard fare on the front and thinner tubing to fit nano gongs in the rear.

Below is a post by @Philreal187 showing how to adjust the flame.

I wanted to share the tuning process with everyone here so if your light isn't heating up right be very care when tuning it will cause damage to the unit and I bet it might even effect the warranty so this is just to help anyone who might need a slight tuning just be smart about it and take your time.

First part is hold the hammer so the big end is facing the roof and the lighter trigger is facing the floor.

Next turn the heating dial all the way up to the plus sign on the right.

If you look close there is a small gear right below the thumb pad.

What you want to do is carefully place the tip of the nail in the last notch to the left of the thumb pad.

Then gently push it right towards the thumb pad.

The gear will want to slid just a little notch then stop so you must use a soft touch to get it to move.

Finally test it and see how it turned out.

To get my hammer back in turn it only took about 3 notches to slid and now it works great. If you find that your lighter just isn't heating quite up to par you now know how to make minor adjustments to the tuning. PLEASE just be careful and don't over tune it can melt or even catch the hammer on fire.

A while ago I was using my hammer and the flame just cut and after that it wouldn't ignite. Also after I push the button no butane comes out. There's not jet of butane spewing out, it just sputters and without touching it I can hear the butane escaping making like a bubbling noise. Is my hammer dead/ can it be resurrected? It's the old one and I've had it for less than two years.

I've always had to turn up the flame dial to the point right before it's too much butane spewing out. And over time it got weaker and weaker so I had to turn it up more, again to the point before the flame cuts out.

Yeah this is my 2nd Hammer and it's doing the same thing. I bought the 2nd one as its suppose to have a lifelong warranty and the old one did not. Problem is I brought it out to Portland from SC and was looking forward to using it on some concentrate, won't ignite. Guess I'll go old school or something, any suggestions?

I just got a used hammer filled and and it's holding in the tank, it lit once for about 15 seconds then went out. I unscrewed it and I think the butane is leaking or where the trigger lifts just above the tank but only when I hit the trigger. Can this be fixed?

I forgot about my hammer. Just got it out and that convection vapour is sweeeeeeet. Such a bargain in the portable market. Flavour is amazing. I've never tried conduction but somehow doubt I'll like it. Anyhow, you know what they say, dont knock until you've tried it.
I'm off to experiment haha
