Nice! hows the vapor temp? is it hot? I saw in the review pics that the inside of the mouthpiece was pretty badly formed, was this a fluke or is it like that on all models?

Vapor temp is cool. Not too warm/harsh, I have a pretty sensitive throat and it hasnt bothered me. I'd say its a fluke because with mine, it looks clean and nice. Maybe the review that you saw had a prototype?

...And let's spark a new flame!
Hello everyone!

I've been following this thread for a about a week and the feedback everyone is giving definitely has me interested and leaning towards the CF.

Can anyone compare the vapor taste to the Alfa by Goboof?

Alfa is my daily driver and IMO it does a good job for my needs. I'm a lightweight user and usually vaporize in the evenings.

I'm just in the market for a new vaporizer and can't justify paying over 200 (FF2 329). I really would like to try the GH but I will wait until all the kinks are worked out and shipping is a bit more accurate.

The Alfa is stealthier and smaller but besides that i prefer the vapor and functionality of the CFX/CF. I think the taste degrades slower on the CF vs the Alfa (especially if using the ELB method). CF has lower temps as well--sometimes the Alfa can be too harsh but i rarely have that issue with the CF. I also prefer loading/unloading the CF. :peace:

Could you upload a picture comparing the size of the Alfa and the CF please. I would be interested to see that.

Couldn't find one exactly but I think This is a good general image if anyone else is interested with size comparisons.

Went ahead and bought one today. Will be delivered for 420. :)

Yep, I did the same.

I would have ordered the CF for the size advantage, but with no battery level indicator I think I'd be too frustrated. I really don't think the CFX's size will be a problem, but if the CF has that feature added at some point, I'll probably buy one of those as well.

Should be no problem as I carry the Mighty in my jeans pocket with no problem.

Everyone was helpful. I did call since the website still had issues with discount code when ordering-I also had to verify that the WPA was included if ordered by 4/20 for FC members.

I have been wanting to order 1 but had bought the Mighty just 2 months ago and thought I would wait but the Mighty made up my mind for me when the power button got lazy.

Least I can have input in a side by side comparison.

So is the CFX/CF already coming with the WPA? Or are they shipping them out separately once they get them in?

After they get them in , was told it would ship later.

Forgot the time difference and I called before they opened but they answered anyway. :)

Everyone was very polite.

Any idea if one purchases from another site (say puffitup) if Boundless plans to have their third-party vendors also ship the wpa's later?

I think you should contact boundless and report back here with the answer. I'm sure a bunch of people have that question.

Just finished my first bowl in the cfx...Piu went above and beyond with the almost cross country shipping over the weekend.

I put in a micro load, i think even less than how much I do a small bowl in my air. Lots of airy COOL wispy hits, started on 385 for the first half, then to 420, then 430 just for fun. Hits were very cool even at 430. The air is SUPER hot hits in comparison, after the first 2 hits it's death on your throat but I'm just so used to it it didn't bother me too much. The air also seemed to never completely vaporize, the aftermath that came out the cfx looked exactly how vape herbs should look, full extraction!

The smell coming off the unit is annoying but I'm sure it will dissipate soon, I did 3 full sess burn thrus to get rid of any factory oils. Has a mild plasticy scent coming out the bowl, its a strong smell though, doesnt linger during the hits. The mouthpiece feels a lil cheap, i hope boundless improves the quality of their plastics, make the top and bottom a matte finish. For 152 usd shipped I'm thrilled.

I almost burned the shit outta my finger by holding the bottom air intake and blowing into the mouthpiece...the people crying conduction need to chill!!

Gotta ask...what's WPA??!?!? Lol

I tried using the FC discount code, and ended up calling them also. It took all of about a minute, and she sent me a paypal invoice. Very professional.

Its very encouraging for the vape industry when you can get such a solid performing vape with such quick heat up and overall really good extraction and at a price point of around 150..kudos to them and kudos to us for recognizing it and telling people about this vape and how good it is..

Definitely, I honestly feel like Boundless is going to change the vaping market and make it more competitive once a lot more people start hearing about Boundless vapes. Quality product with a great warranty for sub $200 with awesome customer service on top of that.

I think they really hit the nail on the head with the way they priced their vapes. It feels like they found a perfect medium for the price point. Not too high that they would lose a lot of potential customers due to price and not too low where it would impact the actual quality of the device. I always find myself recommending Boundlesss to anyone who is looking for a new vape because I am extremely satisfied with their company and products. It's currently my all time favorite device and I think it will hold that title for quite a while.

Hey guys,
Just to clarify, anyone who orders the CF or CFX before the end of 4/20/16 will qualify for a free Water Pipe Adapter (WPA). Unfortunately they have yet to arrive but we will keep you guys updated on the shipment. Believe me, we want them as much as you guys and we are doing all we can to get the WPAs here soon. Thank you for all the feedback! You guys rock!

If I order on Puffitup do I still Qualify for a free WPA.

On a unrelated note I have somewhat of a suggestion. Have you consider allowing the user to set their desiered auto shutoff timer? I don't know how much work that would be for you but I for one always appreciate more control in my vapes. Some like long sessions other like short and some like them in between. So why not cater to people's difference in taste and allow us to set a timer that is most appropriate for our own specific needs. Again don't how much work it would be but its pretty simple it might be worth it. Some people might chose to not use it but I don't think anyone would complain about it being there.

Just putting it out there.

I haven't been very happy with my CFX. Very little vapor even on the hottest setting. And I know others are reporting that the vapor is cool but it feels like it's barely there and I definitely don't feel like I'm getting very medicated. I usually finish with my dynavap.
When I turn it on (5 clicks) it lights up and then off immediately. Then I turn it on again and it goes through the heating process until it gets to the right temp. Is this normal?

Anyway, I don't know why, given the above, but I ordered a CF. My experience with the CF is totally different. Huge clouds on it's mildest temperature. I micro dose and even with a small amount in the bowl it lasted through 4-5 hits.
For those with both the CFX and CF have any of you had this kind of experience?

So as to not double post- someone posted that this has a good warranty. It seems very short to me. What am I missing?

Sounds like you have a defective CFX. Mine pumps out massive clouds anywhere above 390.
