Thank you for the suggestons; I realize you can use anything to carry and protect an E-Nano. What I am looking for is a case that was designed specifically for the E-Nano, or the best size Pelican case or something like this. https://www.vapecase.com/store#!/Quarantine-Series-Hard-Cases/c/10831102/offset=0&sort=normal Vapecase for example make cases for lots of different vaporizers, but I did not see one for the E-Nano.

EDIT: I found this, but I don't know if it would be big enough to hold the E-Nano, wand, accessories, and power cord. No, that's not normal; one end of the wand fits better than the other if you try it. It should NOT be a tight fit, but it shouldn't tilt when you aren't holding it. It sounds like you have your wand upside down. Turn the wand around and try the other end. ;)

The wand was on the right way. I tried the water pipe adapter and it also has the same wobble.

So you are saying the glass tube should sit on the heater tightly and not have any wobble, correct?

I was expecting the glass stems to be similar to the solo, which is already pretty sturdy, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the enano stems are even thicker than the solos.

I usually cheap out and get the least expensive choice possible, but am glad I decided to drop the extra few dollars for the walnut enano. Looks nice, and also matches the doors and trim in this place, lol.

Hey howie105...I genuinely appreciate the suggestions. The problem with written word is the absence of inflection that you have when you speak. I certainly didn't mean to offend you. I was trying to clarify specifically what I was trying to find when I responded to your answer. Please accept my apology if you felt insulted.

Pelican cases are very nice, but they can be pricey depending on the size. I was hoping that someone already knew what size case would accommodate everything without a struggle.

The nano is just sold through Epicvape. There isn't a case on epics website. A person could use a case for something else and make it fit your unit. Getting some foam and cutting out where you wanted to place your vape and stems, also the dimmer cord.

A place like a craft store has various boxes and cases. I bought what looked like a treasure chest for some of my vaporizers and accessories. I also bought some foam for padding.

Sometimes a camera case works for a vaporizer but it wouldn't be smell proof. Maybe a Solo case might work? The nano stems are larger than the solo's.

I don't use a case with my nano. I have bought camera cases for some of my other portables to use when traveling with our RV. Its just finding one that's the right size.

Happy Friday NanoNation. I have some Platinum Girl Scout Cookies in my nano right now. I don't know what the third unknown strain is in the PGSC but it's got to be some sort of berry or grape flavor - that's what I taste. The regular Girl Scout Cookie doesn't have the berry taste.

I see that the Underdog online store has cases for the Underdog vaporizer. That would probably fit the nano. That would be a suggestion for a future accessory for the nano - hey Andy @ACE OF VAPE

Glad that helps. I know all too well the lousy feeling of a racy high. For me it verges on an anxiety attack.

I vape indicas mostly, but I have come to enjoy the effects of some sativa-dominant strains as long as I vape them at a high temp. I couldn't tell you what the actual temp would be but I know the numbers on the nano and in general I've come to know the taste of an extra roasted hit. You do want to stay away from charring your herb of course. I get a dark brown when I vape a sativa on a 7 with MY nano. My Vap Cap will take my herb to very very dark brown.

Get anything from this page with 4.5 as the last listed dimension, all of thoose cases will hold the nano very well and tight with it on it's side.

Thank you CarolKing... Unfortunately the case for a Solo is too small. By the time you put the Nano, and wand in it you have no room for the power cord.

Jesus, do you know how hard it is for me to convince my girlfriend and her brother (my roommate, they both live with me), to not unplug my nano when I'm not there? "It's a fire hazard" they say, "What if it gets knocked over?" they moan. Besides, with the velcro I have on the dial and the table (huge props to whoever suggested that by the way), even if it fell over, it's not hitting the ground. These things are so simple, and they're made with heavy long term usage in mind. Unless it landed top down on an 8, on a really cushy carpet, it's not going to even come in contact with the heating element.

Thank you...this is PRECISELY what I was trying ascertain. That is really nice setup you have there! ;) I would like to find a case with dimensions of at least 9" x 4" x 6.5". That seems like it should accommodate an E-Nano, Wands, and the power cord, and there should be room left over for some accessories. I don't mind if its larger than that, but I don't want it to be smaller. Thanks again for the link, and the 4" dimension recommendation...you were right on the mark when you suggested that. Thanks again for all your help.

We have a bunch of incredibly brilliant, and talented members in here. Using Velcro to attach the heater control to the leg of the table is a brilliant idea. It can be easily removed, and acts like a piton in the event the E=Nano were to fall...very clever...SOLD! :D

@BabyFacedFinster I was wondering; how do you like the Vap Cap. I watched the video on their website, and the ABV looked charred. It looked like its black to me. I imagine that the Vap Cap would be great for someone on the go, but for someone that is housebound do you think it would be worthwhile getting one?

I don't want to derail the nano thread so I'll say that it complements my nano pretty well. I sub it in every now and then and it is fun to use when not inside at home. It does tend to darken the herb quite a bit even when following instructions. Sometimes it does char after the 2nd or 3rd heat up. You can do a search of my posts in the Dynavap thread.

If you're housebound then the nano is still the king of vapes IMO. For me it is my daily driver and I'll have fun with the VC here and there. I'm happy I bought both. I can't say this for all my vapes.

I must say that temperature environment is actually a pretty big factor when assessing the performance of your nano seshes. I have this great strain called Crockkets Dawg and it's vaping great but more noticably today my vapor quailty was outstanding, I only very small amount to get milking rips off my bubbler. Me being amazed I thought about what was different and today was one of the hottest days in a while (70 degrees) So I guess for this strain or my stuff in general just performs warmer? because I didn't change the initial temperature. Anyways hope yall are enjoying your Enano's!

Ambient temperatures have quite a bit of an effect on vaping temperatures.

Got my second in a while back. Received a more figured unit, having trouble getting some of the pretty bits on camera due to the iridescence.

Frankly I'm a little worried about using it! I don't like to leave it even warm because I'm worried about another split (it was left on 3)! Its not seeing much use because I seldom feel like waiting for it to warm up, right now I just baby it.. Do you still leave yours on?

Yeah, I still leave it on, I do however turn it down to 3.5-4 at night when I go to sleep, it only takes a few mins to be at a usable temp from there. From the info here and people's experience with splits, if its gonna happen its gonna happen, and probably in the first few months, now you can try and help prevent it from conditioning the wood from time to time. Plus with the warranty personally I am not that worried about another split, I get them back so fast being so close I think I sent the latest one on a tues had it back thurs morning, I'll send it back again if it happens a fourth time (hopefully won't have to).

I think u just had bad luck man. I say throw caution to the wind, leave it on and enjoy in deman clouds.

I can understand the hesitation, but if the outer sheaf is under enough stress and has a weak point then it is going to split as soon as the wood begins to dry out.

I would prefer to find out sooner by using it as intended, rather than later by babying it and playing the waiting game every-time I need to medicate. :2c:

With that said, using a timer to automatically turn the vape on and off everyday is a great way to add years to the heating elements life.

I always figured it was safer to leave it on 24/7 than it was to turn off and on one or multiple times a day. Assuming you turn the temp down a bit.
Not sure tho.

Safer in what regard?

Turning it down means having to turn it back up and waiting, which sort of defeats the purpose of having it on 24/7 in the first place IMO.

To me one of the many benefits of using a log is having it ready to go right when I need it.

Ah. I meant because the unit is technically only turned on once. Just removes any more possible wear and tear but I could be completely wrong.

And I only meant turning it down at night. I'd turn it down to 3-4 and it would be ready in the morning in 2 minutes as I brushed my teeth or got ready.

If your unit is going to split, it will split within the first few weeks or sooner. You won't need to worry about leaving it on and causing it to split after a few weeks. Don't worry just enjoy the convenience, versatility and the great favor of our fav log vaporizer.
Not to mention the beauty, simplicity and a kick ass heater.
