Sweet, I totally forgot about that. But watching @cwheezy's vids and pics I can't wait to try out the glass body on the Omni too, when it all arrives... It's gonna be lovely to see the milk shooting thru the pipe - from transparent to dense white.:whoa::drool: And switch to full Ti and repeat.. And then try to conclude...:freak::uhh:

Hehehe.. Yeah, @HD Springer join the Caps and bring yer granny :D
Reading piggy's posts alone would make me buy one (at least one, then more likely two - to realize even before shipping, I need to add something). :brow:

It's such a wonderful vibe in here - It reminds me of the Zion spirit mid last year... Keep it up everyone, good karma is all over this place and I can almost feel George's happiness and satisfaction, when "working" :)

Peace :peace:
If it works like my Ti/glassy, you'll need the glass condenser instead of the ss to see any vapor ;)
And to each their own, but I prefer the ss condenser so far. Gotta figure out if it's a material thing, or the slightly longer ss tube, or just coincidental from other factors, like...

I've been adjusting my condenser manually, to achieve the omnivap's impressive results. I fucking LOVE having this thing preset. I just packed a bowl of very fresh shake (my preferred material for the vapcap, as ground stuff tends to suck through the new ceramic filter) and I had the best draw difficulty to cloud ratio I've gotten during a single heat cycle. It's slightly less draw restriction than my OG with carb cap, but it's still in milkshake territory. Like an ever so slightly tighter packed than necessary cig or joint. I'll try to post a pic of my current "setting" to illustrate these ramblings of a madman, so others can attempt and see wtf I'm going on about.

The Omnivap draw is in milkshake territory only because you adjusted it like that for your personal preference, right? Or am I misreading?

@marduk I think he means with the carb hole covered.

Even with this set up you can adjust the flow by pushing the condenser into the mouthpiece** and not pushing the mouthpiece** on all the way. The fatty mp fits on nice and snug.

EDIT: can't do speak

Yup, as you push it further into the Ti tip, the condenser starts to affect your draw as though you were putting your finger further and further over the cap until you can get it to basically "fully carbed" mode. I'm operating at JUST SLIGHTLY below "fully carbed," but it's VERY close to fully carbed. Fully carbed is usually too much restriction for me to enjoy, but where I have it currently is totally acceptable for me. Pic incoming.

Also, note that I am using flower at this restriction. My shatter was sucked through the ss pad and subsequently the large ceramic screen holes and into the ss condenser too easily with this setup (whoops). Mind you, there is still substantial room between the end of the condenser, here, and the ceramic screen. The shatter just sucked right through like a straw.

Oh jeeze, i said into the cap, I meant into the mouthpiece!

This thing works, preeeetty damn well.

And yeah @ragnorokk , I find hemp fiber to be the best for full melts in this hands down. For most vapes in my experience now. Never seems to drip past the fiber.

Where can one purchase appropriate hemp fiber? Is it the "de gummed" kind that is sometimes sold for e-cig atomizer wicking?

Being crushed by pop is soda pressing.
I've read this thread from the beginning and I have to say I really love how the product has slowly but surely gotten better. I'm super excited to try the OG Vapcap and I already know a bunch of people here in Eastern Canada that would be super interested in this thing.

Yep. Same stuff. I haven't needed to buy any for quite some time. It's sometimes hard to buy small quantities of, but this looks good. Will be getting my next batch from them.

Yeah er.. that's a thumbs up there at the end.

And yeah I forgot to show the abv.
You did show the ABV, and you combusted, IMHO. It looks carbon black!
I apologize if I am wrong. Your clouds were just toooooo big. vapcap is good, but not THAT good!

Hey fellow vape enthusiasts. I need your help. I would like to order an ti woody and an omnivap because they seem very resistent to breaking.
. Im an medical Patienten because of my rheumatoid polyarthritis. Due to my condition I am very clumsy and break things very easily. Can I have an ti woody or omnivap WITHOUT GLASS?

So my question is what Parts do need frequent or regular replacement. Not only because of breakage but also because of wear and tear. Keep in mind i am on the other side of the Pond in europe so i would like to order every thing I need to keep on medicating with the tI woody or the omnivap.

THANKS IN ADVANCE MY FELLOW VAPERS

@Alex03 :
Both the ti Woody and Omnivap would be suitable for your needs, as both are virtually unbreakable. Neither contain any glass, but the pre-order Omnivap are shipped with a free glass body which you can swap with the titanium body if you choose to.

As for spare parts, the only thing I can think you might need to replace are the o-rings, and maybe the ceramic screen, because they are small and you might lose them if you take the vape apart.

Peace

Just got my email saying my order is shipped... I'm really looking forward to this vap.
I ordered the original, toyed with the idea of changing my order to the omni, but will see how this goes.
@Alex03 you can message @VapCap (the manufacturer) I'm sure you'll get the appropriate answers.
So my vapcap should arrive in a couple of weeks, my aromed recreational herb holder should arrive a few days before. My Mighty is mighty and I should be harvesting two Wild Thailand sativas in about three weeks.
I think May is going to be a relaxing month!
Peace out vapers:rockon:

I don't have my pieces yet, but like you I am ordering from outside the state's. I included extra orings and an extra cap in my order.

As I had said before my camera see's it a lot differently than I do.

It's just a old nexus 5.

My lighting can be quite elusive as well.

But true, the end pieces closest to the cap can char, but I wouldn't say it's complete combustion. I suppose it depends if you're a glass half full or empty kinda guy, but I get this with all conduction vapes.

Just ran a little nug with the same technique.

was able to get this shot by adjusting the hdr exposure.

Personally I'm fine with this. It's a quite 1-2 hit method, if you choose to aim higher you get way more flavour.

I've produced some veeeery dark ABV when I've flirted with combustion.
For me the acid test is tasting the ABV.
There is a distinct taste to ash/charred herb that hasn't yet appeared despite some BLACK looking results.
(AM I weird to LOVE the taste of coffee coloured ABV?.......anyone else?)

Twice now I've been absolutely convinced that there would be some small part of the load that was burned, but nope, all good, and no 'ashtray' smell left behind either.

Ah I think that's a trick of perspective @RUDE BOY, the grinder is only one of the small sizes (2"). I don't often do much with my kief so it builds up, but to collect a good amount, make sure to keep the screen of your grinder clean with ISO or similar, and once you've ground your herb you can tap the grinder on a hard surface to knock of more trichs if you wish.

I dare say there's a fair bit of plant material in my kief, but it's a nice mixture of dozens of strains from the past year or so, and makes a nice treat when you want that extra special kick!

Peace out!

So holy cow, this thing was worth the wait. So far my favorite medium for loading concentrates has been 3 stacked w9tech black ceramic wicks held in place with a cut stainless steel screen wrapped around them(Otherwise they slide around a bit). Takes a bit longer to heat up, but I can load lots of shatter and it has a lot better flavor throughout. Hemp tends to taste pretty roasted by the end. The only issue is, once it's hot you have to keep hitting it otherwise it'll probably leak. Easy to load, take out one, put a dab in and squish it down.

GREAT idea Quint!
They look an almost perfect size.

Are these the wicks in question?:

P.S. Any chance of 'after' shots of the bowl and wicks?
