Ugh, Destiny PVP is what made me quit that shitstorm of a game, thankfully. It was a fun social experience with friends, one guy in our raid fireteam of 6 would vape with me and man, we'd do great dealing with waves of enemies and bosses and shit but when it came to platforming or navigating winding corridors....yeah, the two stoners would get hopelessly lost and fall into giggle fits. The rest of the team would get a good laugh from it...

I had nearly 30 days of destiny logged before I quit. I got tired of the constant grind and lack of variety for PVE players. Many fond memories of playing that game while high.

Enter the gungeon! Pretty fun. Hard as piss. I can't stop playing Nuclear throne, it's simple and quick enough that it's been perfect game for me as of late.

I am hyped for DS3 I wish I could justify it right now but I can't.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
Dark Souls 3! Dark Souls 3! Dark Souls 3!

I'm gettin DS3 tomorrow. Pretty excited. However my heroes of the storm bug is back. Still lookin for a team if anyone's interested. I'm Pjake#1335 on battle.net

Dark Souls III comes in today's mail and will be taking a lot of my time. However, I also just got into SMITE and I love it. Simple concept, difficult to master.

Curious to hear what everyone thinks of the current and upcoming crop of VR gear?

Oculus, Vive & PS VR

I'm really looking foward to them. I haven't actually tried any but I think this will be the future not just of gaming but for other applications like skype (you visit someone in VR).

I'm currently playing metal gear solid tpp and gta5 on the ps4. I'm a bit more or a retro fan perhaps. I find I don't really fancy that many games that are out these days. I often like to play my old saturn and dreamcast games. Can be hard to find the time though.

@Rebelistic I've preordered a PS VR and looking forward to seeing what it can actually achieve, I'm just so intrugued by it I had to have one. If its not impressive and doesn't make me feel ill I don't think I would have a problem selling it on on ebay to recoup my money...so I went for it.....nothing to lose.

Nice trials riding avatar...is that you? ;)

Ugh games today are crap compared to the older generations. I've yet to have an Xbox one game that has been good enough to enter my top games of all time. They're rushing the games out the door so fast that they barely have time to test them. The ability to patch the games after the fact has made them lazy in regards to sniffing out bugs before release. It's almost as though they don't employ game testers any more, or said game testers are nothing like those of old.

I hope the industry changes and makes a turn back to quality games and testing.

I'm about to play some more DS3. It's really good if you have the patience. Splitting time between that and Heroes of the Storm. I get that moba isn't everyone's cup of tea but I really really like HotS. Just played a really fun match as Murky. He's a beast in the lane!!!

Im really liking the Oculus Rift maybe the Vive... Basically from what I got from the specs are the Rift and Vive will look better, have a larger range of movement, but the VR will have a better refresh rate, so less skipping. Downside to the Rift is the amount of processing it needs to run, and I see the Vive as the middle man.

The thing with the Vive from what I've read is that you basically have to have a room set aside in your home with enough clear space just to use it properly due to the external movement sensors, which could be its downfall but if I had the choice of Oculus or Vive which I dont because I dont have a PC to run either or a spare empty room I would go with the Vive.

Looking forward to picking up DS3 soon. One of my all time favourite series of games, just because of the sheer difficulty. Yes it can be very frustrating but the sense of achievement in those games and the feeling I get from them is unmatched.
