Congrats on Stem/8 HS! You may have to dial the DBV up to 2-3 pm to fill and milk that sucka! ;)

Yeah, its not really a primary vapor tube but definately going to do it. Still trying to decide whether to get the better one from a guy with only 4 feedback or a barely less appealing one from a very reputable guy. Making payment tomorrow i'm so excited

Sweet yeah, the better one looks much better to me, but has a TINY nick in the label, and I was worried the outer stem might not be perfectly straight but I doubt Steve would let that leave his shop it being the newest style stem/8.

So, I figured this unit would be nice. it looked cool in the photos, and the guy selling lives in a McMansion out in the woods. It's actually perfect. A sticker on the back says it was made in 1989 in the USA. It is in perfect condition, adjustable shelves, light, etc. Plus, plenty of room for expansion! I got it for $75, and he had 2 other matching units for sale.

Here are a few pics:

Looks very nice tstat! I dig it. Are you gonna fill up the rest of those shelves with glass? :brow:

Well, yes... Room for expansion! And no, not selling the rest when I buy a pillar (not worked)!

Well maybe you'll get around to liking worked pieces someday. I didnt really think much of worked pieces until a while after I got into collecting glass, later on I appreciated it more. Prodo is okay, but artists can dish them out like nothing. More time and effort goes into making sections for worked pieces, and how can you not just drool at something like http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hpho...69543_100000855098868_801695_1570901807_n.jpg

To each their own. I like heady/worked stuff, but i dont own any, so i dont have much of an appreciation for it(YET!) I believe my first worked piece will be coming in the near future ;)

Yea, I mean there is no denying the coolness of worked glass. That photo is mind-blowing for sure. I think if I smoked out of my glass, I would prefer worked pieces. I just like the pristine look of pure vapor traveling through a perfectly clean and clear glass!

Ok, going back outside to do another bubble run. It's SO nice in the northeast this weekend that I decided to break out the bags and a pound of sugary trim!

Tstat,

here for the chicks
I do like the look of some of the worked pieces (very picky when it comes to colors), but I prefer clear glass myself as well. Not only for the esthetics's, but keeping an eye on the density of the vapor also helps me prevent combustion with my lighter based vapes.

speaking of worked pieces, i just sent money for my first worked piece, the stem/8 i mentioned above. I dont know if ill be able to buy another clear piece now..

I've felt the same about the worked vs clear scientific glass. I love seeing the percs in action... I think if I ever got a worked piece it would be an oil rig with a somewhat worked dome and worked mouthpiece.

Just something relaxing and satisfying about seeing that thick vapor roll through.

Sick Cabinet!!! I'm running behind schedule, but i had to stop and give you props on the Cab!!!

As for worked glass; I can't afford a highly functional piece and then pay to add colors I don't want to see, only to have them block what I do want to see; that sweet vapor... Having just said that, the worked mouthpiece and base on my stemless 60t have really grown on me. :)

The subscription to BoroMarket is scary. I am actually having to rely on will power to not buy the first fifty things I see; so much useful stuff at sometimes amazing prices; utterly amazing. I am so fortunate to have the things I do; BoroMarket is just another door to having anything I can think of, I love it! Now I need a website that gives me money and my life is set.. :)

Thanks, Canna- I really love it. I split them up yesterday- tall tubes on top, smaller bubs on the bottom!
So, it's funny- I also signed up for Boro, but have not paid the $50 fee yet. I'm reluctant because I am cheap at heart. I am also worried about buying too much! Are the prices really that good?

The prices are good sometimes, because you can get artist direct things. also, it is very useful for rare pieces (pillars, inv 4s, etc). i definately dont regret the purchase myself 50 dollars is nothing compared to how much you already have invested

Yea, sounds awesome. I'm gonna do it, I guess it will be fun even to just see all the glass every day...

Too medicated tonight to buy into Boro, but I will. I guess at that point there is no going back. Maybe that's why I haven't done it yet, hehe. I'm actually looking into buying another vaporizer. Im tired of waiting for the Cloud, and need something for the bedroom.

Ok, I'm in (Boro) ... I almost just bought this:
http://boromarket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19924

I think it's too much like the one I have, although the price is so awesome that I wish I hadn't bought the one I did.

Just realized that people can't view this. Anyway it's a Mike Philpot that's 10 inches tall with a 3 hole diffuser. $150 I think...
