Im trying to decide on a butane vape to buy for 420. Can anyone give some comparisons of the airflow wide open and completely sealed. Is wide open an airy draw? still restricted?

Wide open to me is emergency mode if you accidentally overheat and need to cool down quickly. Other than that I couldn't get any vapor at all unless my finger was covering some or all of the carb(s), The Omnivap solves this issue with an adjustable airflow design.

Yes, open carb hole is an airy easy draw, closing the carb hole is like drinking a thick ass milkshake through a straw. I like using my VC with the carb closed or almost closed. You will end up REKT closed or open carb, this thing rocks!

A very airy draw wide open. I do still get a hit, but a bit airy for me. I had been feathering it, but tried the rolling paper trick and it works great IMO. I didn't even punch a hole in it. It just lets a little air on on one side. Kind of like a paper valve. Covering the hole on mine is more restricted than my solo (very restricted).

Awesome hits again today. That little 5 cent plastic mouthpiece just transformed the whole experience for me.

Now using my woodie like a long wooden wong, it just rocks it. I did a pre-heat and got a thick cloud on the first hit. Also the tip about heating lower on the cap helped too.

What is also great is when your not using it, it can just sit there in the bubbler.

Good Sir, as a fellow enano owner, how does the bowl size/efficiency compare to the nano? do you feel you get more effects off a single nano or vapcap bowl?

Oh man... Kief... I miss that in the Vapcap... :luv: A tiny little cotton at the bottom of the bowl, some kief and a little cotton on top of it maybe and you can reach vapor Nirvana in no time!

Don't get me wrong, I love my VC. Unquestionably the top portable in my lineup right now. But, nano wins here hands down. If I use about the same amount in each it's not even close. For me I'd say nano is about 2x as efficient, but in all fairness I have much more experience with it. The clouds in the bubbler show about the same. Vapcap will probably get closer as I use it more, and hoping Ti/Woody (as opposed to OG VC) will show improvement here, too.

I've just received my Ti-Burly and DynastashER recently, and have only run around 5 or 6 bowls so far, and I haven't tried any other butane vapes, but I feel compelled to recommend the Vapcap.

I find the draw when closed to resemble a tightly/very tightly rolled joint, and when fully open it's better than my Inhalater 05, I.e. nice and airy
Currently I'm starting closed for the first heat cycle, then open for the second.
I'm using micro doses, and they're done in two heat cycles, three if I've added any concentrate, dark coffee grounds every time so far.

The wait was WAY less than any other vape at this stage of development.
You do still have to wait, but if you're the impatient type this company currently represents the closest thing to immediate VAS satisfaction that exists, whilst the product is still developing in the open.

I haven't combusted yet, despite preferring the upper end of the temp' scale and flirting with it a couple of times.
The learning curve is not as steep as I feared, and operation is very simple (a noisy environment might be a little trickier until I'm better acquainted with the timing though).

Both the vape and the StashER are beautifully made and a joy to handle and use.
The Dynastash was already a great design, and the addition of the concentrate pot and dab tool serve to elevate the utility of this tiny device to even greater heights.

I hadn't really put a butane vape among my 'most wanted' list until I saw the post-OG vapcaps.
I had been going to get the OG to stave off VAS until a pre-order arrived, but when I saw the Ti-glassy's my ears pricked up, then the Ti-woodies and Dynastash tipped me right over the edge.

George is proving to be one of the most responsive developers to community suggestions and crowdbraining too, a huge draw for me.

All the way from high ticket, to $40 vapes, no-one gets left behind!

tl/dr?

They should do a better job at managing expectations. I think just a simple, "Due to a sudden increase in demand we are experiencing some shipping delays and will notify you by email as soon as your order ships."

I think putting a set ship date and then missing that deadline comes off worse than just a vague delay notice.

Them? As far as I know, this is a one man army project!

Omf this thread moves way too fast for me. Loving my Burl TI woodie, but still waiting on my OG vapcap that george forgot in my original shipment

I've finally settled on a dual-flame style torch - seems to provide fast heatups while not burning through the butane at an alarming rate.

I found one of these JetLine Dual Super Torch at my local cigar shop - it's got a HUGE tank (fully transparent so you can easily see how much butane you have BEFORE you leave the house haha)

Overall, I'm very happy with this little torch, even more than my triple flame vector torch

Off to find this lighter, lol, and I thought "Vaporizer Acquisition Syndrome" was only a vape thing, it turns out it happens with lighters too! :D

Thanks! :)

@birdbraineater I've put a Titan 2 screen on top of my ceramic one and there is very little gets thru that. I vac loads and very rarely get anything but the finest Kief in my mouth. Top one is with the Titan screen.

@Vap974 The color of the ABV is up to you. I can run loads and they come out sandy colored or I sometimes run them to a dark coffee color.

@Carl Hempel A rare find a Tobacconist these days. Used to have a proper old fashioned one near me. All wood and glass cases, never been a smoker but I do miss those kind of shops. May have to find myself a quad torch I got a single and am not really enjoying it. Going to give it a proper try before I dismiss it.

:clap:Hi happy owners of a vapcap!!
I've ordered a omnivap and i just have to wait. But please more videos!
And, i ´d like to hnow,do you have a nice brown abv:brow: or a strong black abv?:sherlock:

I get quite darker abv with OG than with omnivap (both with a triple torch lighter and with a heating coil. With lighter it still happens to me to char a load with OG,it never happened with omnivap. I think you will be very pleased :-). And that woody body for omnivap, it is simply gorgeous

So, are all VapCaps other than the OG now using interchangeable parts?
Psst -- George just posted that the OG's can fit a Ti tip and all the other accoutrements the other day!
Pretty sure someone in this thread went for a visit and said he has employees now.
George mentioned employees in his post a few pages back :)
