Damn david, thats some really good looking glass.. not to mention the quality photography . Is that some kind of vapor bowl or is that for oils/hash?

The vapor dome is for oils. You heat up the titanium nail inside and then put the oil on the nail.

NYCD - How well does the Rockzap stay on top of that? I have a MZ and this setup is really tempting. Do you think the Headford can take the weight very well? It looks like a solid piece of glass but I don't know if it's worth risking a $175 bubb by strapping a 1lb vape on top of it.

Otherwise I guess it wouldn't be so bad to get some flexible 1/2" ID tubing and run a line from the MZ to the Headford... tempting.

So I have pictures of everything finally, below are a few of the better ones. If anyone would like to see more detail on a piece, just ask..

First up is an ILL-G family shot; both round and straight bubblers w/ removable percs, Ill-G direct inject bubbler, and Ill-G ash catcher w/ removable downstem. These bubblers have the lowest drag of any of my pieces; the large bore downstem really seems to make a difference:

Here is the Ill-G round bubbler:

Ill-G Round bubbler lower half:

Ill-G Straight w/ shower head prc/down stem removed:

Here is a top view close-up of both shower head's removed from the bubblers:

Here is my Ill-G direct Inject bubbler:

To round out the Ill-G, here is an 18mm Ash Catcher w/ 4.5" removable 18/14mm downstem:
illgashcatcherdownstemo.jpg

This is a HVY 14" inline w/ Vertigo 18mm shower head Ash Catcher; I was surprised this combo yielded such a smooth, low drag feel. I like it better than th HVY alone, the AC really smoothes out the gurgle without adding much drag:
hvyinlinevertigoac.jpg

Here is a better view of my 12" Bent neck Ice tube beaker that renewed my interest in glass; such a perfect vaporizer size piece:

Here are two Vertigo 18mm dewaar Shower Head Ash Catchers(45 and 90 degree) and the Ill-G Ash Catcher pictured earlier:

Alright, I hope these pictures show up how I intended. Thanks again Stu. I was copying the direct link from the direct link tab on the Image Shack link console; as opposed to copying the url after clicking on the direct link. Also, the first try at this post, I copied each images url and pasted into picture tool here, but no go. I needed to copy the url from the page where only my image is shown, no ImageShack anything, just my pic and blank white everywhere else, no imageShack logo even. Common sense now that I think about it, but it wasn't so common an hour ago, for me anyways. ;)

Next post will be Nano pictures. should have those up in five more minutes, just wanted them in a separate post...

Nice glass, Canna Hound! :brow: I'm glad you figured out the picture-posting process. Once you realize not to pay any attention to the links that imageshack tries to get you to use and just use the raw url of the hosted image itself, you're golden.

Alright, here is my Mobius Nano w/Matrix perc... Thank you Pappy and Tstat for the pictures and talk of the Mobius line and especially the Nano. I think this is my favorite piece. I wish I could afford to have a Nano with all three perc styles.
I almost had the Ion Bubbler; but after paying for it during the ALT sale, they called and informed me they actually had zero inventory and would have to give me a refund. So now I am on the hunt for Mobius bubblers...

alright... I think I got at least one or two pictures of most of my pieces with the exception of my Omnicron, and a couple small no name ash catchers, plus my Scientific Inhalation Cotton filter I received the other day...

If anyone ever wants my very uneducated neophyte reviews of these pieces, just shoot me a private email; I am more than happy to share my experiences good and bad. I just don't want to nit pick certain pieces on a public forum, overall I am satisfied to blown away by the quality of even my cheapest glass.

Hopefully by tonight I have some pictures of my new Oracle, scheduled to arrive today. Also expecting new Silver Surfer Heater cover and spherical wand today sometime. I think tonight is going to be a fun night testing new toys; I'll try to get pics.

Stu, I couldn't have done it without you; thanks a million!
It seems so unintuitive to bypass all of the fancy link options at ImageShack, click on the image and open a new tab, then click on the direct link icon next to the useless direct link url provided, this opens a third tab which displays nothing but your image; then copy the url from web browser and paste that directly into the F.C. picture upload tool....

thanks again for the help.

This has a well made joint, the Rockzap doesnt stress it much because im always supporting the zap with one hand. The inline bubbler CAN NOT hold the zap on its own, it will tip over and probably end up with a watery zap which would be very sad. thats why im holding it. but being a smaller piece its not difficult. in fact its one of the easiest to pick up and hit with the zap.

My advice on tubing is to stay away from it, it takes away flavor, makes it a more cumbersome setup as well as adding a big part to clean. I would not recommend any tubing for this setup but i know some others use tubing i would not diss them i justdo not like it

and i have much more expensive glass that i would put the zap on AND let it rest on it IF its sturdy(like the BC bubbler is very stable even with the zap sitting on top, so i dont worry). :)

Thanks NYCD. I'm also looking at one of these, an SSV 6-tree perc. Upshot of something like this is that it is only $65 and looks like it would work really well with some straight 1/2" ID tubing, as the hookup is 14mm.

However I just won a bunch of money at Bingo (I shit you not) so I'm in the mood for something awesome. I don't really smoke, pretty much ever, my MZ is it - so between the Headford and the BC, if you were only using it for vapor with the RZ, what would you choose?

Headford hands down. for sure better with the zap then any thing else

those trees and ashcatchers/bubblers look like china glass. i would stay away :peace: there is a reason those are so cheap, and the headford is actually a good value for that price IMHO

Great, thanks. Do you think it's worth the price over a ~$70 RXIndustries 250ml with punched downstem or an EHLE 250ml with the similar punched diffuser? I've never smoked/vaped out of either, nor an inline, so it's pretty up in the air right here.

They are very different pieces so i cant say one is overall better. a small straight tube would work but from my experience this little inline works wonders with the zap

I use the CRZ with the 12in rx industries daily, love it.

Its the perfect amount of diffusion for the vape IMO, I can hit it as long as I want and it still isn't that irritating (with the CRZ, heavy hitters I need to up the water level and throw some ice to get the same gentleness)

I got really close to buying a headford bubbler a while back, and no doubt it would be a nicer hit, but for less than half the price you can definitely get perfectly diffused vapor.

In the end its nice to have a tube and a bubbler, so whatever you go with know tomorrows another dollar :brow:

Thanks for the post Haze - I definitely realize that the RXI tube is the way to go, but ever since I saw that Headford Inline I've been lusting for it, hard! Such a beautiful piece. Everyone should own at least one piece of really nice glass.

I'm happy I didn't go WS* as I originally was going to. It sure is tempting to get a 14" double perc bong for $120 though. But when it comes between supporting Ziggi and the Chinese or Headford & the Wilsons, the choice is clear. And the last thing I want are little glass shards in my carpet.

loving the amount of sick glass that gettin posted lately!! i wonder if some of you guys should start your own collection threads?

highsigh: looks like you got the perfect trifecta; small oiler, great DD, and a big hitter. nice setup.

pappy; your shelf keeps changing, but always looks awesome. nice glass.

cannahound; awesome collection. why so many ashcatchers?

Pappy- that is a stock Nano with Matrix perc; it is my favorite piece at the moment. The quality is a noticeable step up...

HighSigh- I love the Inline with vertigo AC!!! Also like your oil rig; I think I may like the curve more than the nail; but have yet to actually try a curve... My HVY Inline with that AC has been my go to piece for the past three days, I am loving it. Except for the ever slightest wobble it came with. I can't see the low spot on the base, but I feel a little rocking without the AC on it.

notmyrealUsername- After I saw how much crap makes it thru the screens on my vaporizers, I felt like an ash catcher would be useful on almost all of my pieces. Just like with other glass, I have found some I like more than others and am in the process of deciding what I like best; then I will probably try and find good homes for the stuff I don't use as much to make room for upgrades.

Yeah, I kind of felt like I posted to many pictures; but I didn't think my collection deserved it's own thread...
