Log vape history

I've looked but could not find a log vape history. Is there one?

I know what is available now, HI, Underdog, and Epic vapes.

What commercial log vapes started the party? I've heard of purple days, and woodeze (sp?)and others, but
have not seen any, or know their history.

Is there a log vape history source?

To the best of my knowledge the Eterra was the first of it's kind.

It was large and took a loooooong time to heat up, wish it was still in my collection.

What happened to it?

I got my first log just last year, an enano. So I guess I'm a Johny come lately.

I do find log history interesting. Especially how they evolved. And I love them now, for sure.

I bought it second hand from a friend that bought it after trying my VRIP. He never took a liking to it. It was not in the greatest shape but for what he was asking I couldn't say no. After buying an Aromazap, I ended up giving it to a good friend that was out of work wanted a vape badly.

I still have the Aromazap, it is a huge square chunk of wood that also takes a loooooong time to heat up. I liked the zap because it ran a little hotter, had a neat aromatherapy attachment and didn't look like something that went through a wood chipper.

Looking at the list, it's kind of sad that so few are left. Still I love my UD and am looking forward to getting a HI. I almost never use the Enano. I think it's because I only have the 1 stem that came with it and it's not one that works with water. I just can't talk myself into buying another stem for it. Wish I had one from one of my other units that worked with it,

I would suggest either having some custom roasting tubes made by @Alan or get a custom stem by @Ed's TnT. I have now made purchases from both fine gentleman and I think you will be impressed with either option.

I believe that Ed's e-nano stems also fit the underdog and my understanding with Alan's stems is that his current roasting tubes can work with pretty well any of the current log vapes.

Otherwise you could buy an adapter from @Ratchett that will surely pair your nano stem with water.

I am with you though in that I love my underdog. And after having purchased a few roasting tubes I am completely sold on Alan's work and will have to add myself to his growing list.

I have one of Ed's stems for the enano. I sanded the fit to let it fit the underdog, and it fits nice now.

I do like the fit of the enano glass stem over how the underdog glass stem fits.

But the wood stem with the underdog works very well. Wood stems just look so right with log vapes

Don't forget the Ceramic Rock Zaps and previous iterations of Zaps.

Also vape history and timeline would be cool. Maybe if I can get some time I can write up a bit, but I'd need some others to fact check as I came along late to the game myself (PD and Zaps).

Thanks- buying from Alan is a great idea. Then I will already have a stem or two when I order my HI.
