The Hash Catcher: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle your vapor hash!
*decrease waste, cleanliness of vapor and versatility are the primary motivating factors behind my set-up. However, I think many others can be found*
I usually use my RZ these days (see bottom of post & videos). However, the whole idea started from your standard 7th Floor 18mm female joint from my DBV and LSV. This same setup can also be accomplished with your DIY Hakko or any of the 7th Floor products. So with an 18mm male joint with a screen to hold your meds the GonG is an "all glass airpath" (if there is such a thing). In addition, an 18mm female-female joint will then take you a long way...
I had these made locally but they are just 18mm male-male adaptors with edges for a screen. Ive also had 7th Floor make me one that is in the making. It is basically the same thing that 2clicker uses:

Here's my "idea"...I've added a RooR "ash catcher". Everything collects in the ash catcher, which I call my "hash catcher", so everything can be reclaimed. All the particulate matter, resin, etc. that usually ends up in your wand and whip is easily usable. I just use a glass rod and scrap out some every now and then for an extra punch. And you can also do a QWISO and easily get everything (i.e., nothing left in the whip tubing, etc.). No matter how much you try, I think the best way to clean a whip tube is to get a new one. I've tried the string/nail pull-through move, but threre is always an odor and its eventually going to influence the taste and possibly effects. And the key for my set up is that almost nothing is wasted. Reduce, reuse, recycle!

By using a LSV transfer wand you have an
all glass set up; everything is cleanable & all wand hash reclaimable (if that's a word).

Not sure why you would go to this extreme, but just to show the versatility...
And when using the LSV + WP,
almost nothing ends up in your WP, just like a normal ash catcher. But as we all know, this isn't ash we are talking about. It's gold IMO.
LSV and some WPs (SYN 12-in & 24-in beaker RooR, just pinches on both, nothing special) More interested in cooling my vapor with ice as opposed to filtration.
