Has anyone received their's yet? We need some videos of this bad boy
Shipping from Canada, so there may be a slight delay... hoping to get mine soon! I've kept up with the Bulli thread but this setup looks like it's going to be what we've been wanting for a long time... On-demand vaporizing like this is going to be great.

Mine should be coming soon as well! Excited to see @Quetzalcoatl is in on this!

I think my package from Pipes will reach me before the Evic mini I ordered on fastech.

Can I test it with a VV/VW battery ?

Can I damage it? Is it impossible to vaporize correctly without the T° control feature?

Maybe it's better to be patient and to wait to get the right tool in my hands!

Just because I'm up high super early, I will attempt to educatedly answer this question even thought I'm not 100% sure about this...

But I would wait. The VV/VW mods will make the atomizer heat, but since there is no temperature limit, the likeliness of overheating increases...of course you could pulse the heater to ensure it doesn't overheat, but it seems as if that will require a learning curve.

VS temp control...where, no matter how long you push the button, the temp will stay set.

That being said, I think it should be 'safe' to use and won't damage the battery or the atomizer.

Ooh this is very exciting. this is definitely going to be on my list of things to get after my upcoming move is over. does anyone know if Pipes is shipping these to the US or if these are only available in Canada unless we make it ourselves?

He's shipping stateside and I believe internationally.

Mine has arrived! I bumped the TCR down to 145 and at 510 got vapor just as pipes indicated. I'm astounded at how similar my own build is to the project and yet still outclassed by a tinier coil, lower TCR and less wattage. More 'sperimenting is certainly in order, however its definitely providing some inspiration..

Here's a picture, you can see both units coil in a coil design and a happy coincidence for myself and any other e-nano owners.. Perfect fit!

@nondarb maybe is because all that steel steal heat and the wood don't steal too much heat.
Its certainly a large part of it. Pipes also made the stems the same diameter as the inner sleeve channeling the heat directly. I've heard mention of the bullis thin body being a benefit in our own builds, the thin tubing seems to replicate it well. These factors coupled with the wood acting as an insulator seems to work excellently. I'll be ordering parts for my own "project"s soon enough I'm sure.

Thanks again @Pipes !

Straight charred my first two stem packs with my Solo stem (that fits snugly but not too tight). Finally on stem 3 I'm taking it slowly. I dunno how much it wil vary by mods... I got my IPV5. 520f andvTCR setting is 0.00130. Getting light blue vapor. Tasty. I'l need a lot more testing with this. Speak of the devil... got a little black spot again.

@Pipes I need to get one of these asap!!!! Do you think your post can stand up to 18 AWG wire?? They look like they can take anything lol.

also I think if you had one of these you could modifiy it into or make it an option of having a post pin coil. This way it is a really easy change if for some strange reason someone needs to change it. idk just a though

Let me know how you do with the ipv5......I have that mod and couldnt get any of my kayfun versions to work with that mod. They say the way that the IPV does joules is the same as watts but it really isnt. On my RX200 if I go all the way to 200w I still wont go above my allotted temp, the only bad thing will be a bad power line.

I want to use the IPV5 because you can actually set the resistance which is really nice

You sincerely don't need anything near that big. Not even close, 22 awg is plenty. He didn't even fill up the tube and has a little .55 coil (in mine) and it powers through bowls with the quickness and no overheating. The coil is barely 5/16" wide and 7/16" tall.

Wish I could help but I'm only familiar (id barely call it that!) with the joyetech chipset. For some reason other manufacturers started using different coefficients making comparing apples to apples very difficult. I've been spinning the stem to help avoid hot spots.

Pipes also mentioned making some SS and Ti coiled projects, knowing which one you have will greatly effect your settings. Mines SS, I've bumped my TCR down to 130 and usually truck through stems starting at 520 ending on 560 or so temp stepping as I go.

Aight gang. I'm in. Received the black evic mini today, just waiting on the 'project' part. Bought it from seller:
authentic_electric_clouds on eBay. $40 shipped and delivered in 3 days. Seems like a good option for those that can't wait from other vendors. Sure as hell beats my local ecig-vape store that wanted the 'sale' price of $100.

Hey guys, glad the units are making it to their new homes.
As @nondarb mentioned, rotating the stem, helps average out the hot spots. My routine would be to rotate after 2-3 puffs, another 2-3 puffs and dump in my palm and used the stem to scoop it back in. Good with rotating till finished.
However, I must confess, since I made this stem, it's the only one I use. Even have a second on order.
For those waiting on that freakin slow boat from China, I found a China supplier with some stock in USA. Maybe Gearbest is the ticket. I'd be hesident to buy this product from Ebay. Reason being, is there are clones out there, as I got one. The clones will not take firmware updates and doesn't support TCR modes. Quickest identifier for the clone is mine was missing the battery release strap.
I stumbled across Gearbest, as Fastech no longer ships batteries to Canada so I was looking for a replacement battery supplier.
These guys have a fun site to browse as well.
i have my in hand already!! but i will test it later, is more small that i thought !

@nondarb have you device a smell and taste of paint ? @Pipes any tips about this ?
You are likely smelling the Linseed oil. The paint is high heat enamel and should not have any odor. I soak in Linseed oil after painting the outside and rub it in. The odor should subside in no time.

Can't see way not. First I'd try cleaning the stem only as easier to re-assemble. Nothing in the material can be hurt much with cleaning. I found the Linseed oil dampens the "woody" taste as well as a sealant. Either way, the taste should go away with use. Also, note that the stem which is provided is admittedly not the best for this device. The Air's short strait stem with the plastic top is an ideal stem IMO, and can also be used with a 14mm water device.
Hope this helps.
