I popped in this thread randomly today and am intrigued by the Evolve Plus. I have a few KISS carts from w9 which work well at first but clog after a few loads, I'm also chasing the perfect THCJuice mix but that's another story/thread.
I'm thinking that I would like to try the Evolve Plus as I'm attracted to both the dual and ceramic coils but wonder if I'll face the clogging issue again. I eagerly await @smutman and other's experiences!

I keep seeing people have a problem with the battery housing coming loose. Mine finally did too and the connections broke at the solder points. I talked to the seller of my evolve and he gave me the option to buy an exgo V1 650mah variable voltage up to 3.7v. Will this battery supply enough power for the QDC atomizers?
It might have enough power but the QDC evolve atomizers sure dont fit anything other than the Evolve. I just got my exgo v1 and tried to screw the evolve atomizers in and they dont even come close to fitting. It sucks im sitting here using my evolve waiting for it to break on me anytime now after seeing so many accounts of it, might as well order another for the inevitable breakage.I keep seeing people have a problem with the battery housing coming loose. Got my Evolve Plus yesterday. Have only loaded half a g so far but I really like it. Easier to load than the regular evolve but looks like it'll eat through more wax accordingly. The silicone container is cute, will be testing that out in the coming weeks.
The hits are huge and smooth with the dual coils. Haven't gotten the ceramic coils yet but if they work as well as my DT 2.7 does then this may become my daily driver as I prefer this form factor and the leak cap is amazing for on the go.

@Yocantech is it possible for me to get a new battery? I was one of the originals talking about how it came apart. The battery coming apart isn't my concern its that the battery sometimes will click on in my pocket and stay pressed even when there is no pressure on the button. Literally my only gripe with this wonderful product

When you say "healthier" superglue does that just mean its a stronger more durable form of glue? or is the glue used in old evolve batteries somehow unhealthy when heated? Got me worried here... I had assumed the glue used to hold it together was far enough away that it wasnt getting heated and passing vapor on?

Yocan sends me stuff to test, try out, and give thoughts on from time to time. I'm not sure the ceramic atomizers are "released" yet. I will say this, so far I'm very pleased so far with it.

Yeah, I'd like to know what this "healthier" glue really means.
Ya im gonna extend the benefit of the doubt and assume that somethings lost in translation there. Maybe hardier or stronger was the word they were going for, not healthier.

Can you tell if the silicone in the wax container is glued on ? That's one thing I worry about don't want glue in my wax

Seems like the bottom of my container is glue down, I can roll the sides down. Only way I see glue getting into my stash is if I poke a hole in the bottom with a dab tool. I just took a very pointy dab tool and I'm sure if I stab at it, it'll poke a hole. But I've poked harder than I normally do to get a dab and no holes. If you're rough and tough, you'll probably tear it.
