Well the way I read his post is,... It's been 4 weeks! He is so sad and not liking this so unfair way these GH guys have been dangling this metal carrot in his face. God it's almost like he is the only one that could have possibly been tapping out a beat with his sneaks while reading post EVERYONE AND THERE MOM/DAD/BOSSES UNCLES DAUGHTERS FAT FRIENDS HAIR MONKEY WITH THE DIABETES!!! Just be happy YOU! That we as a posting group don't come find you and shove your address conformation straight........ Sorry guys and gals I'm drunk and this waiting has started to take a tole and I'm not a true wait-tee (i.e.) a 2 year waiter. SHIP MY METAL STICK SO I CAN SUCK IT HARD NOW!!!!!!

First Impression: Like others have stated before, the build quality is amazing. After inspection the exterior, I pulled some hot air through the device. So, I have ordered an external charger (Xstar MC1 Plus). But I, an impatient man, tried out the stock charger. Interestingly, if I put my ear close to the hopper while it's charging, I can hear some kind of weird static sound, like the kind you hear on a poorly recorded song. I'm not remotely knowledgeable on electricity to find out the cause, so if fellow Hopperians can try it to make sure that it's not only my device that's doing this, I would be grateful.

Overall, I feel like this would be my final and ultimate vaporizer for years on end.

Just wondering where you are located? I just ordered from them also, and I'm wondering how long shipping will take from London to Chicago. I believe their email said 5-10, but up to 20 days for US customers... I figure a little firsthand experience might get me a more accurate window?

It was actually supposed to take 10 days, but I mistyped my zip code so the package got fumbled around for a week, so it took me 14 days. I'm located in Tennessee.

They told me today not to expect my order til April. Website says estimated ship date is March. My original estimated ship date is listed as April of '15.

I just hope its a good sign that they are shipping out preorders. Its only been two days since they raised their prices.

It seem when we reach the middle of the month, the shipping date on their website gets pushed back a month. So when you order its like 60 to 75 days out. But we all know its longer than that.

Not gonna lie... part of me would be very happy if those paying a whopping $25 more still had to wait the year or more the rest of us will have endured :p

You'll likely see it come into NY fairly quick. Then it will hang up for 2 or 3 days in customs. After that it may sit in Jamaica NY for another 2-3 days. From there it will travel with USPS thru normal channels, but a lot slower than Priority Mail. Just when you think it is going to be where you want it to be, it hangs due to it being Registered Mail from the UK. You may want to order some batteries and any other accessories you want direct from GHL while you wait. Follow up with them to ask them to ship right away.

I jumped in 3 days before the price increase :D

but I also been stalking this vape for 2 years and no way in hell I have enough patient for that long, sorry but I would drive my self and hopper labs insane if I would have been an early backer.

congrats VegNVape on your receiving your device ! to be honest though if Zion had been sold to EU I would have had that instead, but probably Grasshopper fits my needs much better then the Zion

how is it anyway? because I already know the Grasshopper is amazing :D

"I have an inside source in the business that says stainless steel hoppers will be coming at the end of the month. I don't know how many will be coming, but they will be coming.
If you think back to last month, Hopper Labs was saying they would begin preorder shipments in February. Nothing happened until the last week/last couple of days of the month, but they did start in February.

Having experienced this, and hearing that Stainless Steel hoppers are coming at the end of the month, I believe that Hopper Labs is working on production each month and sending shipments at the end of each month. For the future I expect this to continue to be the model that they will practice.

I will not comment further on how I got this information, since I would like them to keep giving me information. I understand the policy on this page of PROOF, PROOF, PROOF, so I understand that this will probably be removed.

However if you look at my history I have not posted anything else, but have just been monitoring this reddit, waiting on any new information for the past couple of months.
I thought some of you would care to know before this is removed.

2) Because they don't/haven't updated their website. They don't seem to care that their estimates & info they put on their website are not accurate.

3) We have no idea what their staff is up to. It's really not very big, perhaps they are taking the time to build assembly jigs, produce assembly/QA/QC documentation,etc. No idea, but there is no reason to believe that they "have staff sitting around twiddling their thumbs". What gives you the impression that they are "struggling financially"?
