This sounds very odd to me since I like this vape because of the taste.
If it's true that your ABV was totally spent with 3 pulls at lowest temps this is really wrong...

My herb is far from been totally spent after 3 pulls at lowest temp, but the taste is changing very fast. If i'am using it at lowest temp, the ABV came in brown / light color. Temp sensor seems to be ok. But it's just that the popcorn taste is already here at the 4th pull ...... In my Solo or Indica (and in the Mighty of course) this taste came after MANY MANY pulls, many more than with the focus.

@GoGlass thr first 3 temps imo are for flavour chasing. Have u tried starting on heat level 4 (blue) this method has prolonged flavour in the higher temp settings in my case. Also, I find while vaping mostly indica strains the taste tends to fade quicker into the familiar "popcorn" than other more sativa / hybrid strains. :)

I've just tried that ......too hot and the flavour is not so good.

For now, i start at the 2nd temp (white) and if finish often at this level also..... And the taste is decent.

I'm using my focus with the MonG (Metal On Glass !) adaptor + the mouthpiece of one of my TiGr2 cart (W9tech).

With this setup, the taste is better for me now, the total length is superior, so the vapor is cooler, and as a bonus, cleaning the metal glass adaptator is much much easy than cleaning the original mouthpiece !

ordered this one while waiting for a GrassHopper. i need something to heat up fast when on a go vaping.
good reports and reviews + awesome price made a decision for me.

if this vape is as good as it is reported here, i don't understand why does Focusvape isn't a mainstream vape jet. :hmm: value for the money seems to be spot on!

Cause the saturated market and, even if it's a nice vape it's not a game changer...I'm still using it everydays also.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this informative community; just joined after lurking for years! :/ anyway, my question is relatively simple: how big is the bowl on this focusvape? I am hoping the bowl is the same 'standard' size of titan 2 and most importantly the pinnacle pro as I love the loading system of the pinnacles bullets, fill em up, insert a pipe screen folded to fit the top of the bullet and leave preloaded in the revolver bullet holder. Brilliant system for an ocd herb connoisseur such as myself. I leave my bullets loaded with different strains all labelled up for weeks on end. Anyway thanks in advance to all u guys. And thanks to this forum it has made my life as a vapist / vaporist so much easier. :)

I like Pre-loaded cans on the road too. That's why the Haze is still in the rotation! Plus it's awesome. So Puffitup has this thing for $89 right now and it actually looks like a real , decent conduction vape, not really a pen. Seems like this one would get much more press, looks better than the Flowermate for the same price.

It's well worth the investment if you ask me. I've not tried an xmax pro but the focus does compliment ownership of an air well. The focus being more of a quicker outdoors session type affair, with the air being a more relaxed vape, to use in a comfortable setting such as a friends house or party. I see this could be a potentiator for current combustors who on the fence about vaping. A nice simple all in 1 package thats reasonably priced and got quite abit going for it imo. And performance completely outweighs the 2 flowermates I have used. I've said it before (I think) if this vape had a way to pre load some sort of capsule it would be my current favourite and would replace 1 or 2 of my vapes...

Did you order it from the french site?
What shipping estimate do they give you for this one?
I'm really tempted about this one as well. Looks really handy and a value for money indeed...

edit:
I just found it on this site as well, https://www.focus-planet.com which comes under 100E inc shipping cost.
They look good for EU shipment. Anyone used them before? They do have quite a few vapes as well...

How about a review teaser? I promise to go into the gory details after I've done a complete beat down on the Focus.

First thing I should mention is that I fell in love with the Xmax V2 Pro so hard awhile back that I bought a second one so I'm coming into the review/comparison as a satisfied Xmax user.

Lets set the price differential aside for the moment.....

@Spocks_Katra summed it up well...it's like the Xmax V2 Pro and the Air collided...in a good way.

Thus far the Focus is winning the race handily when compared to the Xmax. The Focus heats up so much quicker it's crazy. The additional 3 minutes of 'sleep mode' is a nice touch for those who need more than a five minute session. After 5 minutes of use the Focus goes to sleep and turns off the oven and a simple 2 second press wakes it and turns the oven back on. The mouthpiece on the Focus screws in and eliminates that pesky issue where the Xmax mouthpiece comes off in transit. Both the Xmax and Focus do a nice job of heating the herb evenly without a hint of combustion although the Focus does stay smoother at the higher temps.

The above are the highlights I've experienced so far but I've got to get into the weeds more (pun intended) on things like battery life, taste, flower conservation, high heat electronic affect and maintenance.

In order to be fair to both units I'm testing apples to apples...... same herb, SAME BATTERIES (Samsung 25Rs are one of the recognized top 18650s) so that the batteries don't skew the results.

Stay tuned.....

I've completed a full battery of burn offs and will probably do one more. Battery took about 3 hours or so to charge via USB. I haven't had time to test anything yet but I will be giving it a shot later tonight.

First impressions are good. I really like the idea of an external charger, replaceable batteries, pass-through charging and can be charged via USB. Seems like a no brainer to pick up a couple extra batteries so you can have one on the external.

It heats up super fast, about 20 seconds to over 400F. Everything fits nicely, feels nice in the hands. It is a bit heavy and tall. At first I couldn't figure out why I had so much draw resistance but I found the air holes and it actually has a nice clicking sound for each stop. Really free flowing when its wide open but I haven't thrown any herb in either. The screen/mouthpiece looks like it could gunk up pretty easily but also doesn't look too hard to clean. Comes with an extra glass mouthpiece, 3 extra screens, some cleaning tools, external charger, and the usb charging cord. Randy from PIU hooked me up with this device, Ty very much.

I'll be using it more over the next couple days and I'll try to answer any questions as best as I can.

Interested in this vape purely for VAS' sake, but a lot of the positive things you guys are saying and the heat up time remind me of what I like about my Boundless CFX and other people as well. Perhaps a sign that Chinese engineering is ready for the big time. A little unfortunate in some ways for the US market, especially if FM/Xmax or whoever the fuck manages to pull off a legit convection vape.:science:

I was watching some reviews for this one last night again.. It feels as it's better quality from the storm vmax but the clouds Im not sure if they're that milky and dense..
Give us more feedback Buzz :D

I put the unit through a battery life test last night.....12 sessions @ 5 minutes a piece ON HIGH! Even when the draw down was only one session's worth of power left it still reached the High Temp in just under 20 seconds! Best I could ever do on the Xmax was 6 sessions and the Xmax average for me in normal use is 4.5 sessions.

This thing is a beast.......

i been hitting Focus-PhocusVape two days already. all can i say is WOW! this is a conduction heavy hitter! like a vapor Magetoke. the vapor is so dense and intense that you can rip it very hard trough a bong, it keeps up!!! and also you can take it by little trough mouthpiece. then it is almost like a drag from a fucking cigarette! i bet this thing would be perfect for tobacco vaporizing as well.

and one more thing i can say- this vape i received for about $100 in two weeks. it heats up in 20 sec to blazing temperatures. it gives satisfying throat hit. i missed that,... from those combustion days. this thing is very close to real smoke feel. and a very high standard quality built piece.a decent competitor for a $225 GrassHopper to overcome. :rockon:while it comes.... almost a 6 months ....and still Hopper not in my hands :(

I picked one of these up on sale from Puffitup. Like others, I got it to scratch an itch while I wait for GH pre-order madness.

So far I am quite pleased with it. The main selling point for me was the fast heat-up time and swappable batteries. In addition to fast heat-up, I find it also cools down faster than expected, ceasing vapor production in 1-2 pulls after turning off.

Efficiency is decent, vapor production very good. Thorough extraction with consistent ABV, no stirring required.

Draw is a little more restricted than I expected, but tolerable. I only use it with all 3 air holes open, and wish there were a few more. I'd say it's a bit more free than Pax 2 but not nearly as free as Mighty.

Flavor is so-so as expected, Id rank it just a little below Pax 2 in this area.

It didn't come with the MonG WPA as I'd hoped it would, but the included mouthpiece mates just fine with 14mm.

I would have chosen some different temperatures than they did, but levels 4 and 5 (374F and 392F) suit me fine.

Overall I'm happy I got it. Makes a good compliment to my Mighty, which will now mostly stay safe at home. This vape is really impressive for it's price point, and might even save me from buying a GH at full retail price while I wait for my pre-order.

@PPN and others who know both vapes... am i doing the right thing? :D

the adjustable airflow sounds really nice... do you guys play with that feature a lot?
thanks!

this vape is made from really quality materials. i guess Storm has more plastic and rubber in its design.

and this one heats up in 20 sec!!! huge clouds. changeable battery. waterbong adapter (included when i purchased) and decent portability for $100.

very good value for a money. fingers crossed that it does work for a while. lets say a year. i'm been testing this thing in hard core mode. so far so good. hitting like a conduction one-hitter should be hitting. like a champ. and not even overheating in group pass around sessions. and more safe than using a fcuking Sublimator when stoned people gathering is happening. that thing can burn a house down. i'm not saying that this vape can give so much and so dense vapor as a Sublm can. i'm saying that i like this vape because of that satisfying throat hit. :rockon:like in smoking days.... and without a danger to burn something.

still Solo for session vaping at home, but now my on a go vape is FocusPokusVape. :borg: not so great for a group sessions. as a chamber is small and it is not so easy to change a bowl when that steel bong-connector is hot. this is a quick conduction one-hitter. you take it out from pocket, 20 sec at max temperature and 3 big, long draws and chamber is done. after that i put it in pocket and it is not hot at all.
