Unbelievable that this little bit of kit has caused so much drama over the past few years. When you open it up it seems like there is not a lot to it at all, appearing to be little more than a shell. But no doubt, it is indeed a very impressive heater design that is able to produce so much instant power from such a small mass.
But there is much more testing to be done - further details & more gratuitous pics to follow . . .

So yeah, just a couple of quick preview snaps for all of you Hoppin' mad mofoz . . . And I'm pleased to report that first impressions are exceedingly good. The form is so tactile that I just don't wanna put it down - I am actually clutching it as I type this now. And it's so light - I love it.

Hi everyone. I posted some time ago and have been meaning for ages to add an update, so here goes.
I got my titanium hopper early last December and it has been fantastic overall. I have 4 batteries on rotation and use a nitecore d2 to keep 'em charged up, and just swap as needed. Like some others have noted, you get somewhat better results with a lighter pack. I usually fill the chamber, but just. (Current favorite strain in it is Cantaloupe Kush, a tasty hybrid that is great for all day, but I digress...) I have noticed that if I'm outside in cold weather it seems to use the battery faster, which makes sense since I am pulling cold air right over the heater instead of room temp air, so it has to work harder. I usually swap batteries after 2 loads rather than waiting for them to go totally dead.
I did recently get the disco lights of doom, totally out of nowhere. No change to my usage or anything, just went to turn it on one day and red-blue-red-blue... sigh. But I did the warranty request thing and they had a replacement body to me in less than a week, so pretty impressed and happy with how that went. (And I had figured I would have an issue at some point since I was earlier in the delivery chain than many. I think I have the earlier style of backend as well as I can see the seams, but so far so good with that.)
This thing really is a game changer for portable vapes. For the few days while I was waiting for the replacement body to show up, it became really clear to me how used to it I had gotten. Always with me in my backpack or pocket (I got a 'ego' branded ecig case off Amazon that works perfectly, holds my hopper, 1 spare battery, a little stash container and a toothpick.)
Oh, and the toothpick. I've seen a couple people talk about it being hard to empty or load. Loading is simple enough. I put a bit of medium grind in my palm (I just eyeball it, doesn't take much) and then just use the edge of my hand to guide it in, maybe a light tap or two on the side to get it to settle in. Pretty much like loading a pipe. i usually use the edge of my shirt to wipe off the threads before screwing the mouthpiece back on, but still pretty dang easy. Emptying is super easy, especially if it is still warm, and a toothpick is perfect for gently loosening up anything that is reluctant to just tap out. And it really is a small chamber (yet puts out such great hits). I could probably fit 2 hopper loads into one Firefly bowl, or just about. (I did try this, as I have a FF as well, but it was not a very scientific experiment... cough. Still, probably about that.)
A couple of my friends who got to try mine are now waiting on preorders as well. I think Hopper Labs is going to do just fine...

I got a LOTUS and was amazed by how hard it hit and was better than a joint!
Then everyone jumped to the VAPMAN? Then I realized some of the vaporist were collector's or had a sickness called VAS. I have this sickness as well maybe not as extreme as others however I suffer as well.
GAS is a sickness I have kind of bad. (real bad)
Thankfully I have a beautiful FRENCH wife that is wise as well.
She buy's me whatever I want.
I was breaking GonG's like nobodies business.
So my wife bought me a High Powered Desk Top that did not require a GonG!
The GH I don't need however I want one because of VAS.

I'm in the exact same boat. I don't need a GH but I want it so bad, I'm surprised I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Probably because of the wait list, so that's actually a good thing that there is one, in my case at least
.But I also want to wait and see what these new vaporizers are from Magic Flight before I make my decision.

I could not help miself and I added a sexy purple GH to my order, which according to Caroline will not be impacted of my addition and any others. They will be shipping in March!(fingers crossed)
I think that the titanium model will make a difference and I just grabbed the opportunity that a friend of mine showed some interest in the GH and I made my self a little "extra present" with the extra 50$ for me, which I think I will not regret in any case. I loaded some extra batts as well and I'm ready to rumbleee 
There has been some nice posting for the Ti and the SS model which helped me make up my mind and pay the extra bucks.. Many thanks lads!! Your help & advice has been really helpful!!!

Got a response on my warranty. Have to box it up and send it in. Apparently they haven't seen this problem.
Gonna pack it up and get it out in the next few days. I knew I kept all the boxes for a reason other than how amazing they look.

Yes and no. Fingerprints and smudges can show up, but they wipe right off.
My purple Ti still looks pristine. If I'm going to put it in my pocket, I use the leather sleeve, but around the house I just put it down wherever.

@blankexpression, mine was also doing that. One of the many weird problems I was having is light staying red. Well, a couple times it would turn blue just before the auto shutoff kicked in. Still some bugs out there.
Wonder if they need to tone it down? I mean, don't get me wrong. When my new one comes in, I'm going back to 5 on the bong. Just hope they figure this out.

My wife was the same way, lol! When mine arrived I said something like: "I'm so happy it's here!!"
She said: "no one is happier than me... NO ONE!" haha
Has anyone experienced the slowdown in heating time a few of us mentioned above, and then sent it in for warranty work for of that? Is it just something that happens? It still works.
I guess I should write Tre....Caroline a message and see what their take on it is...
